I will never forget the last scene of Richie and Fonzie where Richie says goodbye you can see the love from both of them. This was real and it didn't feel like two actors. It was a shame that this was not the series finale.
Watching the show, I always got the feeling that the bond between Ritchie and the Fonz came from the actors themselves, as much as from the scripts. It's so nice to hear that it really was a genuine bond between them. And when Ron Howard left the show, the chemistry that made Happy Days such a fun show to watch was gone. I stopped watching it at that point -- and having seen the reruns years later, I feel the same way.
And to think that Ron Howard, in the days of Happy Days was indeed this redheaded almost nerdy kid, now has just delivered one of the most captivating and brilliant movies i have ever seen, featuring the greatest sport in the world Formula One, with two of its most iconic drivers. Yes everyone go and see Rush, it is simply a masterpiece, i seen it, i left the theatre with an electrified feeling and goosebumps all over. So mr Henry Winkler, you can be very very proud of mr Howard.
Ok. Fine. My life is meta enough as it is, and I'm in way over my head anyway. I think everybody would like to fast forward things a bit so everyone gets what they want. It'd be nice to have a guide. Jesus Christ.

Thanks Henry, You guys were part of my life..
Watch the episode where Ritchie comes back from the Army and you see how much even in the acting roles how much they loved each other.

Extraordinary times, extraordinary circumstances, extraordinary measures.
Extraordinary people. =)

And now the Fonz hawks Reverse Mortgages on cable tv.
And he writes books, does movies and television...
