I had the same problem when I saw Evil Dead in the theater. Crying babies and little kids watching while limbs are getting chopped off. Studio reps should say, "get your fucking kids out of here. This is a rated R film and your a bad parent for bringing your little kids!"

Zach Pope I feel you with kids/teens in movie theaters. Being a teen myself, it seems I'm in the minority of teenagers that goes to a movie theater because I actually want to see what I paid for. I appreciate all the hard work and creativity put into it. I am also very respectful to everyone around me as I know most of them want to enjoy the experience. It's a shame my age group is so disrespectful.

    • @jasonchilado

Zach Pope and I personally think kids under 10 shouldn't even be allowed in r rated movies in general. People should get 3 warnings for any type of interruptions (babies aren't an exception) the third warning is kicked out. Also before the movie starts, make this policy clear to everyone.

Luckily for me I haven’t had a bad experience lately, but the worst experience I ever had at the movies would be when I saw Captain America civil war. There were 2 different babies crying throughout the whole movie. I was pissed. That wasn’t all. The people in front of me were talking and were on their bright phone the whole movie. And their was a kid kicking my seat 80% of the movie. To top it all off at the end of the movie when captain America and iron man start to fight a guy I guess got fed up of the crying. He yelled at the crying I guess 3 or 4 year to shut the fuck up and the parents were arguing back and forth almost ready to literally fight, the movie was unwatchable. The theatre gave the whole audience free tickets to another movie. I was so mad I couldn’t even tell you, it was by far the worst moviegoing experience I ever had.

I had a similar experience with the same film, except no children were there although preteens attempted to come in and sit right next to me but the manager kicked them out. But it didn't get better there was a couple that wouldn't shut the hell up, throughout the whole movie. All they did was talk, scream and laugh. 20 minutes before the movie ended some dude told them to shut up and they stopped. This is why I don't see many horror movies in theaters and why I probably won't see The Nun in theaters.

I experienced this recently. I went to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters and someone brought a baby. About halfway through the movie the baby started screaming. S/he was louder than Godzilla and King Ghidorah! Like you said, it was more than likely the loud noises which were freaking the child out. So annoying.

It's a good thing I saw the movie at an early showing. It was just me and my dad and a few people. No little kids. Though I was kinda worry that it was gonna happen, because I had a similar experience with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. A kid screamed right behind me and was louder than the dinosaurs. And it hurt my ears.

I went to see Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark and it was this couple who brought their 7 year old to the theatre... I got super pissed because this girl cried in fear through he entire fokken movie! I walked up to the couple and said to them: "Can you please take your kid outside or something?"
The father nodded and took both her daughter and wife out. They fortunately did not come back

I have also had a weird experience with Annabelle: Creation. There were a few people using their cell phones beside me, I heard people talking behind me and someone yelled at someone a few seats over. I wish I can just to go a movie and not deal with people using their cell phone because it's getting worse.

I saw Space Jam 2 in theaters (I know it’s a kids movie) and there was this family of kids that started crying at the start of the movie and their mother did absolutely nothing and when Bugs Bunny said something a kid started screaming about some bullshit and I was fuming and I had to stop myself from yelling “Shut the fuck up”. I know it’s a kids movie and that’s the main audience but that doesn’t mean they can start screaming during the movie. Either teach them to control themselves or don’t bring them at all.

i think in general no one should bring a 1 year old to a movie theater because movie theaters by nature are surrounded sound so even if it’s like paw patrol it’s gonna be loud but especially annabelle 2 i’m a grown man and the scene on the stair lift terrified me imagine if you are six it would be traumatizing

99% of the time, I watch English films, however one time, I saw a Indian film. It was violent, but I was really impressed by it. I anticipated the sequel for the next to years. When it came out, me, my family, and a truckload of my friends went to see it. We went to watch it. Keep in mind this film would be R in the USA. There are a bunch of little kids. So the movie starts. I’m watching, and suddenly I hear a video playing behind me. I turn around to see the parent has given their phone to the kid, probably 3 or 4, and they are watching videos full volume. It was so distracting. I wanted to slap the parent and throw the phone out of the theater. Granted, one of my parents friends brought a little kid who was 4, but when he saw that girl with the phone, he wanted a phone. His mom said no, so he asked again. Unlike that other dumb parent, she actually respects moviegoers, so she went out of the screening with the kid, and stayed out there for 20 minutes just so she wouldn’t disturb the audience. At the end of the movie, I was pissed( I still enjoyed the film) My dad was very pissed, as well as my friends. My mom was calm. Anyway, I hate irresponsible f**kers who don’t teach their kids discipline and ruin the experience for others because they couldn’t find a babysitter.

1:50 thats why in some theaters (the AMC in my old neighborhood but i moved) parents canT bring kids under the age of 6 (or younger) to a R rated film after 4pm for this reason because most people who go for the best experience are later and so these kids don’t ruin it for anyone but sadly thats not the case here

My personal least favorite movie going experiences can thankfully be 3.
    3. When I saw John wick chapter 4 this young couple brought their babies to the screening. And yea the babies cried for a bit.
    2. Me and my brother went to see the teen titans go film as an bit of a shitpost. And there was a kid that sat behind us who was kicking our seats and wouldn’t SHUT UP! We asked his parents to do something and they didn’t.
    But my least favorite was
    1. The first time I saw Avengers Endgame opening night I sat next to a guy who was on Snapchat the whole time and was giving his personal commentary!

Its fun when people show reactions at jump scares, but i agree it is so annoying when the parents don’t even care its not a darecare, on a separate note…its a horror movie, it will have loud and pots of quiet moments, YOU DONT CRUNCH YOUR CANDY OR POPCORN DURING QUIET SCENES, adults do it a lot, when i went to F9 there was a old karen sitting next to me making stupid disgusted expressions, first off its the 10th movie in the series people going in will know what to expect, then she starts stuffing her face with popcorn and i think some fall on her, then she actually yells (no one noticed except me cause it was a somewhat loud talky scene) but man she was damn annoying, and kept making karen looks, ITS THE 10TH FILM IN A AWSOME SERIES IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE OTHERS WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU WILL LIKE THIS, i was in imax in southcenter mall (not saying which state), and if your reading this and watched F9 next to a brown kid, then your a karen….lol

We had this same group of older kids (probably 12-13) often come into the theather I work at. They were running up and down the aisles during IT Chapter 2, and just being disruptive in general. They came in a few more times for other movies (like Its A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood, a movie that they wouldn't even like) just to be dicks honestly. We havent seen them in a while though!
