We kept finding we needed a folding table. This is so easy to store. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxStL0QRChBju4aQlnTrRgBZvafFog0KU3 Opening and closing is easy as well. It has a great handle for carrying around the house. Its pretty lightweight and slides around easy. We bought it for our daughter’s first sleepover. Breakfast was a blur - but 12 7-8 year olds fit at the table with room to spare. We used it at thanksgiving and 6 adults fit comfortably on each side plus 2 on either end for a total of 8. Super easy to clean up afterwards as well.
Very neat job. Well done. And glad you took your time to add a couple of minutes showing the finished product, including reading a woodworker's magazine at the table haha!
Great design! Really like the hinge function! I have a small shop with an older Rockwell 10” Contractors saw and can’t afford the room for a permanent table like yours. Plus my motor hangs or the back of my saw and any bevel cutting swings the motor up into the bottom of the out feed table, so I came up with a different solution. I did install a 30” side extension that’s laminate covered and also acts as a router table using my saw fence. I went to an old used office furniture store and found an old printer table from the 80s that has a chain driven elevation mechanism to raise and lower the laminate covered top. It’s 30” x 40”. I actually bought two. I put locking wheels on them to give them mobility and elevate them to a range closer to my tables saws top, and use them as in feed and out feed tables. I use them together as an assembly bench when not needed at the saw!
This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble th-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
Nice addition to the table,I have been doing counter tops since the late 70s I would have covered both sides of the table if not it will have a tendency to bow. if not
Very inspiring design! My shop is in my garage and I have been wanting a dedicated out-feed table for a while. I plan to orient the saw so that the material feeds into the garage. I hadn't considered a folding extension. Rather than creating one that hinges down and blocks access to the storage space below, I think I will devise some sort of slide-out support arms that will support a separate sheet that I can keep stored below the fixed portion of the out-feed table when it is not in use.
That turned out well. I have a similar folding outfeed table, but found I never bothered to fold it down, so I build a set of drawers to fit underneath.
Excellent video, process, and design. Thank you for sharing. You are a great inspiration. I'm working on my MOAT extension. Using door hinges is a great idea and very practical.
Hello! Great Video as always. Here in Vienna we call the White stuff HPL-Boards. The full name is high pressure laminat an its made from many sheets of Papers and chemicals. Polyurithan am melamin. Its not toxic and very stabil for use. We use ist when we built furniture that is used a lot. e.g. school furniture. When working with it you have to take care that you dont hit something because it spliiters quite fast. But when its glued to the surface its a very good sealing for everything. I think you will have good experience with it Greetings from the other side of the world! Tom
WOW, the Wood Ninja! Nice nice build, And I learned a few tricks. Clamp help hold work in place if your using screws so they are not just for glue. You can always add fold out legs at some point, Or drop in a router to make a router table also. but you have an outfeed and glue up bench as well as desk. I would not talk much to add fold down legs.
I’m just not that used to seeing Young Je make a mistake...!!! But I still learn stuff every single video!! Thanks for making the videos too. Great work.
At 6:50, the material you have appears to be FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) it is a textured panel normally used for the walls in public bathrooms and commercial kitchens, places that get wet a lot. It is available in 4x8 sheets, I think Home Depot might even have it.
Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your courteous & hearted reply. I trust this new extension will give you Sterling service for many years to come. Kind regards.
Great project. Well done but I don't understand why so many people remove the safety equipment from table saws while they leave them in place on Miter saws.
When you have an outfeed table the size of my works space your just making me more envious!!… Great build my friend and nice to see you make routing mistakes....join the club!! LOL😉👍🏼😊
I bought the 3m brand ear muffs and I can leave them for hours and not get itchy ears. Those harbor freight ones would make my ears itchy before the feature races.
Very nice work and build? With the other side extension up and now this outfeed extension, you don’t have much space to move around - haha. It will be a good assembly table also! Now you need to build fold out supports AND perhaps a fold out chair. You don’t need to be looking at plane magazines. You design and make beautiful planes so you should publish a magazine for your planes!
Great job! BTW, was looking at the book you were looking at the end. Been thinking about making some small planes as a way to overcome some disabilities. Would you mind providing the title if possible. was extremely pleased when I found your channel. Always enjoyable, natives me the impetus to keep trying.

Awsome job 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
Nice build! You should creat folding legs for the folding table half.
Nice addition to the table,I have been doing counter tops since the late 70s I would have covered both sides of the table if not it will have a tendency to bow. if not
Wow That was great. Now I have the solution to my problem. I know you did this years ago, but great. Thanks
Great video. I picked up some good ideas. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the stop setup you have on your miter saw station! Id love to see more details about it.

Simple design, well built and highly functional. Plus the addition of some much needed storage space under the top. Once again, well done my friend.
That turned out well. I have a similar folding outfeed table, but found I never bothered to fold it down, so I build a set of drawers to fit underneath.
Excellent craftsmanship here
Great project Young Je!!! You always make things look so simple but most impressive.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice table and great video!!
Great project, I’ll have to get in the shop tomorrow and make one for myself. Thanks for sharing.

Jeremy Specce - I agree, looks like FRP to me too.
thanks

A beautifully made table saw extension. Well worth the watch. Kind regards.
Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your courteous & hearted reply. I trust this new extension will give you Sterling service for many years to come. Kind regards.
嗨!你在最後坐在你自己剛做好的桌子旁閱讀,那肯定是每個做木工的人最羨慕的時光,也是你在整段影片裡最帥的一刻了 :D
great project! i like
Perfect👍👍 Vinny 🇺🇸
nice beautiful beautiful greetings from Sicily
WOW if i had a workshop big enough, I'd build one.. strong construction and a nice smooth surface to boot. Brilliant work young je. 😉
toujours un travail aussi soigné
vidéo tres instructive ( j'ai en projet de faire la meme chose)
Merci d'avoir partagé .
I wish I could just come sit in your shop and learn everything.
Brand of the device please!!! Dewalt
Thanks for leaving in the mistake when routing out for the hinges. Nice to know master craftsmen have problems too. Love your work.
Great project. Well done but I don't understand why so many people remove the safety equipment from table saws while they leave them in place on Miter saws.
Great video. I have the same DeWalt miter saw and it is a pain to rig up effective dust collection, but it is a great saw.
Yes. I think the same, it would be the biggest problem of most miter saws,
I think an ingenius fellow like you should come up with an effective dust collector for "our" saws!
Hey Young, what is the model of the Ryobi nailer you used in this video. Thanks.
Great job!! Lots of work area, and didn’t wast the space underneath.
Ты аккуратен в работе ..чистота и надежность рабочего места дает наслаждение ..Все очень на высоте ..Удачи Друг !!!
Learned a lot from you. Thank you for sharing.
T guy
When you have an outfeed table the size of my works space your just making me more envious!!…

Great design and video! I could use one of these in my shop also. Thanks for sharing

That's not harbor freight
Haha, love the “plane shopping” shot!
Excellent presentation. Just show how it's done without annoying chatter, music or scenes of a shop dog. Thank you.
Well done. Altho, with some thought, the extension should have struts, or fold-down legs to support it.
Work very good!
Thanks for sharing !
Very nice work and build? With the other side extension up and now this outfeed extension, you don’t have much space to move around - haha.
It will be a good assembly table also!
Now you need to build fold out supports AND perhaps a fold out chair.
You don’t need to be looking at plane magazines. You design and make beautiful planes so you should publish a magazine for your planes!
do not need to create a new one because my old cart is just right. It use table supports and chairs at the same time.
👍 Good job as always !! 👍
nicely done. @ 11:08 does that mean we'll have a router bit sharpening video? ;-)
camera flash~~haha
that's 18 gauge brad nail ;)
:-) i figured you just did that so the rest of us don't feel so bad about our mistakes.
Keep practicing and you’ll get even better.
Great job! BTW, was looking at the book you were looking at the end. Been thinking about making some small planes as a way to overcome some disabilities. Terra Plana looks like the lie-nielsen catalog.
Jeremy Specce thnx
thanks
Young Je what kind of table saw are you using? Looks like a nice machine.
As always all super))).
You are a Master Craftman sir. Thank you for teaching me new things!
Good job! But no folding legs on the collapsible table? :)
do not need to create a new one because my old cart is just right. :)
Really beautiful job, man. Awesome! 😊
Warning!, if you look at that catalogue very long ole TL-N will soon have all of your money.
I've got one of their planes, good stuff.
Nice job 😊
Great job thanks 🙏
