Daniel Leș urges us to truly live, to find our authenticity, and tells us how he does this: "I have a landmark: the countryman." He is convinced that the simplicity of the Romanian village man will save us at some point. We are always caught up in the daily chores and forget to truly live.
Daniel Leş is a potter and a free Dacian, buried in the land of Maramures.
I live in a 100-year-old house, fire in the stove and tell stories to children. I am the husband and father of two children, the big student at Arts in Timişoara, the little one, 4 years old, who started walking with his fingers in clay, next to me. The luxury of my life is to do what I like at home, convinced that I can be happy without too many accessories. (Daniel Leş)
Born in a family of artists trained at the famous school of painting from Băăăăăăăă, Daniel Leş began his apprenticeship at the age of six, together with his father. Although his works are always exhibited on the premises of the most famous art galleries in Romania and abroad, with modesty, he considers himself an eternal apprentice
Daniel Leș grew up in the workshop of his father, the painter and ceramist Ioan Leș, where he learned drawing and ceramics. Since 1997 he has exhibited his works in the country and in the world and has been awarded with diplomas of excellence, awards for originality and special awards. "I want to recover the world of my childhood," says Daniel Leș, so many of the characters he models are from his childhood village. He is a follower of the traditional methods of clay processing and is recognized as a promoter and continuator of the art of pottery. "I get deeply involved in every work I do, thinking that, at the end, when it's ready, I have to show it to God." Hallo domnule Daniel intreb am nevoie de o oala de lut pt sarmale dar o vreau daca puteti trimete in germania cit casta platesc.
Hahalerelor, de oamenii înzestrați ni se profită.
Acum 200 de ani in urma oratorul avea succes. Dar azi ,sa-mi fie cu iertare,pare anti-prezent. Pacea o gasesti in fel si chip. Fiecare in felul sau. Nu suntem buricul pamantului. Nu suntem unici si nu detinem cheia fericirii .Dar pentru un anumit public merge. Pare pastor . Fara suparare,lutul "din satul romanesc" nu este universal. Satul romanesc dispare pentru ca asta este cursul firesc al lucrurile. Civilizatia nu poate fi tinuta in pesteri sau in sate daca nu ai mijloace de subzistenta. Drumuri, apa,curent,acces la net. Ce spune acest om sunt vorbe,doar vorbe. Nu spune nimic nou, nu spune nimic miscator. Este doar o frustrare personala pe care si-o exprima. Si apropo de autenticitate,ce a dat satul romanesc atat de important incat sa promovezi excesiv. Sa nu ascundem tristetea,saracia,izolarea .Sa te folosesti de Dumnezeu pentru ati cauta un rost... Dar pe Dumnezeu l-ai intrebat daca este de acord sa te folosesti de numele lui? Vorbe.
