Fun fact. None of the cast knew Kendal was going to do that. It was also Jeremy’s idea. so everyone’s reaction is their genuine one. Even Roman’s “KenWA” was ad libbed 😂
The way Rob had his hands covering his mouth out of embarrassment but was still vibing to the song is the exact representation of my reaction to the scene when I saw it for the first time
He's not really turning down 250M. He's turning down the possibility of inheriting 250M. His grandfather could easily change his mind and leave him with 5 grand and a used Hyundai. All he cares about is making Greg take his side.
I mean, If Greg genuinely did what his gramps wanted and pleased him, I am sure he would have given him some percent of the inheritance. Isn't the chance of inheriting 250 mil a better choice than working as an assistant to someone for chump change compared to 250 mil.@@John_Locke_108
@@John_Locke_108did you watch the entire show? You finished Succession and didn't understand what Logan's brother was trying to do? He cares about the environment and democracy, things that Logan is destroying.
the best thing ab l to the og is that kendall did that without anyone knowing he was going to, the director told him to do what he feels is right and he did that so everyone’s reactions are completely improvised
I’m so happy for you guys, seeing Kendall’s song for the first time. I remember watching it several times lmao I also genuinely like the song, but obviously Logan is like “what’s this pussy bullshit”
Kendall's rap is actually kind of sad when you put it in context. Jeremy Strong said that Kendall is essentially just so dead inside and subjugated by that point that he doesn't really care about making a fool of himself and rapping this song that is all about praising Logan, who is essentially the person who is currently abusing and controlling him. It's like a slave doing a little song and dance for their master's guests about how wonderful their master is. Funny and entertaining out of context but definitely kind of sad and dark if you think about it a little more deeply.
@@havok6280 I thought Kendrick Lamar was a basketball player for the Lakers. And Eninem was the late 90's. People have grown up and moved on from that gangster rap stuff.

Kendall’s rap should be saved and put in a time capsule to let aliens who discover our planet know what our peak was.
truer words could not have been written
watching succession is like exposure therapy for secondhand embarrassment 😭

My boy squiggle cooked up this beat for me

greg trying to rap along to a song he doesn’t know 😭😭
Hey, we all would have done the same thing.
Kendall’s rap is probably one of the funniest moments in the show so far and seeing Greg just enjoying it made the Scene even better
Have fun singing L to the OG randomly every day for the foreseeable future boys lmao. It really gets stuck in your head
Brian Cox should get an Emmy just for not smiling one bit during Kendall's rap
Baby girl Kendall got bars
Greg contemplating turning down $250M is insane lol. The L to the OG scene is a fan favorite lmao, it just seems like something Kendall would do.

Kendell's rap was legendary. It came from out of no where and I couldn't get enough, I wanted another verse. 😆
Kendall's rap made me cringe so viscerally that I had to pause the episode and take a break when I saw it

BTW fun fact, Jeremy Strong actually wrote the chorus and came up with the melody for L to the OG himself!

Ken rapping is one of most uncomfortable things ever. Nobody has listened to rap since the 90s. He is so out of touch with reality.
Yeah no one listens to Eminem or Kendrick Lamar...😂
