Love this season! Both Shiv and Tom use each other, Tom to climb the ladder and Shiv to feed her ego. And they both love each other in their unique twisted way. Shiv is written so well, a woman with that kind of upbringing and parental relationships will not know how to express love outside of power dynamics
The conversation between Logan and Colin is so interesting in retrospect. Logan obviously misses his children on his birthday. But I also think that for so much of the series we see Logan from his children's perspective (and their dynamic especially within the workplace) but there is a whole different side to him that we only glimpse in his interactions with other people (Rhea and Kerry included).
Lmao Tom and Greg's dynamic in this episode was priceless. The kids did "win" this episode because Logan NEEDS GoJo to go through and he was planning to buy Pierce for funsies. The kids came and swooped in. The price for PGM back in season 2 was $25 billion and it's not worth that much now so $10 billion compared to that is "cheap." The kids and Logan were basically playing chicken here. I don't know if Roman is the smartest in this episode but he was genuinely ready to cut his losses and do this with Kendall and Shiv. I think Roman also hoped to salvage a relationship with Logan even if he'd never run the company.
What a start for the season first of all I need Tom and Greg to stop saying the disgusting brothers asap it was also interesting to see this episode it felt like Roman was the most focused and smart in talking about business decisions

Didn't really understand when you said that Shiv and Tom were terrible to each other. Shiv is but Tom has not been terrible to her. He's amazing to her. He just finally had to prioritize his well-being when he told Logan in season 3 finale. Can you blame him? She literally just told him the night before that she didn't love him 🙈
Stop glazing for Tom he’s just as much of a horrible person as everyone else. The marriage was always a business opportunity to him from the beginning. End of story.
