I guess it wasn't a meteorite after all that killed all the dinosaurs... Watching this footage kind of makes me glad that this game doesn't want to work on my Everdrive. :D The ending is nothing short of poetry.
I tried this yesterday on Mesen with a mouse emulating the zapper. It was something else... Couldn't beat levels 2 and 3 even with save states this way. Does the shooting sometimes freeze on original hardware too so that pulling the trigger doesn't do anything for a while? Horrible game design, or a sophisticated stun feature? Couldn't figure out what the third counter is either. It seems like a boss HP counter but how does it work? Seems kind of random. For me the level 2 boss had always +30 health and it depleted by 1 every time I destroyed a flying dude coming from the pterodactyl's mouth (something I never imagined writing) so with the rate of fire every flying dude shot at me it was just impossible to beat at least playing with a mouse.
It freezes up quite often unfortunately. The third counter its extra HP for the bosses. It goes up every time you miss a dino which means the more you miss the harder the boss is
Dinos hate to see you comin🦖🦕

It is absolute poetry that it abruptly crashes after such a bumpy ride. I hope a future OS update adds everdrive compatibility!
@@toys4u99 So what did you play this on? Actual cartridge and NES?
@@TiukkaToveri-kq8dn I played on a reproduction cartridge on an original NES
