Thanks for all the amazing comments on this so far! If you have any questions feel free to ask I try to answer everyone. Also How was your building experience at Sunshine? I'd love to hear from you.
I like the place aesthetically but I think it's a pain to build at. There is no native water ( despite being right next to a dam! ) and the big open area makes it hard to defend.
subscribed, just pick this up on steam winter sales. bought this for the sake of nostalgia, complete this game on ps but since i find building in ps4 quite difficult stopped after done stories, now i have it on pc. good one sir, thank you for showcasing.
I find this to be an almost infinitely replayable game, there are just so many different types of character builds and factions to follow. I switched from Xbox One to Xbox SX last year and it was like a new game! All that extra power opened up the game in a lot of new ways. I hope you enjoy rediscoving the game and a massive thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing.
Sunshine Tidings is my favorite settlement location. First thing I do is go and claim it, and it becomes my main operating base. It’s a fantastic location that for me supports 23 settlers and all the building I need in addition to the already provided shacks. It has great visuals and is rural, with only occasional attacks. It’s navmeshing is good as well, being one of the only locations Vilance didn’t have to redo the navmeshing and upload as a mod. My only complaint, given its rural location is the lack of ambient bird noises on the level that Sanctuary has. Great build. Thanks for the upload!
Many thanks! I agree it's an underrated location. So much potential. I've built a few large settlements here. I'm not sure why people don't like it, perhaps it's the remote location.
This has given me some great ideas for how to use those traps! I love that water tower too, I'm gonna have to get that from the store. Another great build by the way dude!
You know when those traps came out I always looked for indoor spots to fit them in and never did use them. This is the second time I used the spike traps and both times outside. Many thanks for your support as always.
Really great build! Good use of everything there already, I had a hard time thinking of what to build and just ended up with using cabins/houses and just add a little. I tried a one wall build first and that was my problem, but you making separate areas and adding to the next, and fortifying each is better for uneven settlements. Water tower is cool, it looks like it should be there. Cool tip with getting settlers to go to certain spots. Great defense set up and demo. Fitting build here, great work! Thanks for sharing cool tips and ideas!
Many thanks! I also have had a lot of problems with this one over the years. It's a big space with so much potential but also very limited without mods. The tower is the part I liked the most, it just had to be done. My modded builds of this place tend to be better just for having so many extra options.
Love your builds!! Your channel has given me so many ideas. Love the water tank that you had created. What creation club item was that? Also, do you remember what you did with Professor Feelgood? Did you send him for repairs? Also, do you still play the game or do you just do the settlement building now?
Many thanks! Glad to be providing some inspiration. I think the water towers are from the virtual workshop CC pack. I'll check tomorrow for you. This is such an old playthrough I'm not sure what happened to Prof Feelgood, I think he headed out into the wasteland. I do still play a lot. I recently completed new playthroughs with the Railroad and the Brotherhood. There are so many quests and so many ways to build your character I'm always starting new playthroughs. I find this game almost infanatly replayable. How about you?
@@FalloutPBC I totally agree. I just started a new playthrough and I want to do more of the settlement building and I like your builds a lot since you dont use mods and I don't either. Someday..I hope u can conquer Coastal cottage :)
@@bluekitten1032 Lol! I didn't forget about Coastal Cottage, in fact I've been building there a lot. This will be the first time I've build something specifically for the channel. I've really packed the place but still tried to keep it lore friendly.
Another beautiful settlement. Your vidoes always make me want to reinstall Fo4 to build than. I get frustrated witht the mechanics and lack of AI use as well as enemies spawning in my base 😂 keep up the great work.
Impressive very impressive indeed, I have a question. Do you get more options/upgrades for settlements the more you rank up? I'm also playing without mods, and I've never seen some of these thing's you have in this settlement. Then again I'm only a rank 14, because I started over again.
Many Thanks! You do unlock more building items with player skills. For example, better science skill gives access to the better and bigger generators. Some other items are connected to quests and will only appear at certain points in the story or when specific choices are made. This is especially true for the DLC building content like Vault-Tec and Mechanist, etc.
@@FalloutPBC Alright awesome thank you so much, and what's the deal with that scavenge box? Do you assign people to it and in time it fills up with junk?
@@LeaveNoTrashBehind Pretty much, you assign a settler to it and they will wonder around the settlement and return to the station. Randon junk pieces get placed in the main workshop. So it does aid with gaining building materials. Plus as I point out in the video the settler will return to it often and has a nice welding animation. So they can be used to add a bit of life and motion to the settlement. Take a look at my Eggets Marina build to see that in action, I use in a few times there.
@@LeaveNoTrashBehind Just one more note the scavenger stations will stop producing junk when it gets just over 100 items in the workshop. So to keep them working you will need to empty it into another storage container periodically.
I like your style of build. But I just would like to add... You can manually pick them up and walk to another settlement, far away. And drop them. If they are far enough? will Not return. Same works with already dead settlers.
You use CC, but not the Settlement Ambush Kit… why? I swear, if that CC was rebranded as Settlement Defensive Kit, it’d be the 2nd most purchased CC behind the backpack.
Lol! That's a good point I guess. Brahmin have two heads so maybe they are both? Thank you, kind comments like this are helping to be more comfortable with the voiceovers.

I found this place annoying to work with so I usually just put a few basic buildings down and leave it.
Have you ever used the trap door?
@@dreed8358 I do the same on some playthroughs, it is a tricky one but I have some other ideas for another themed build here.
