New to Fallout, and new to building JUst jumped on it after the TV show and discovered the whole built thingy. Love the video. Hoping many more ware coming. I hope more people do tutorials for beginner and mid-level people. This one was pretty easy to follow and thank you for the tips :)
Well welcome to the community and I’m glad I could be of help! I hope you can continue to enjoy both the series and my videos and thank you for showing the support!
Great build! I have some tips to make the total settlement more realistic. Try to make 2 or 3 (or even 4/5 in giant building spaces) small builds with each a couple of buildings and 2 or 3 stories. Then try to combine them with different walls or small shacks in the middle so you can combine them to create a more realistic look (try diagonal walls and combine them with the normal higher guardpost i.e.). Each small builds can complement eachother in function, for example a housing area, a market, a farm, a bigger guardpost build etc.. That will make your builds even more stunning, (because of the randomness) to look at!
Hey! Just found your channel and love your style. I really like that you talk us through your thought process and vision as well as showing us how you accomplish it. Really helpful and also entertaining.
Thank you I really appreciate that! I’m still working on getting better/ more entertaining and more comfortable with each video as well as trying to improve overall quality so I’m glad people are getting out of it what I had hoped!
4 minutes in, and my settlement building skills have already tripled. I did not know about the up and down motion, been doing it the hard way for 20 years
It really just depends on the surface im on or what object the pillar is connected to. I talk about it in the vid a bit too that you may have to finess it a bit or raise and lower it depending on what you're doing. It's also good to note that you cant phase it though solid flooring such as woods or concrete.
Need to try and find the “left bumper” for PS4, that would make life easier and building will be less frustrating. Clothing works because Lucas Miller (the provisioner) sells armour.
The bumbers and triggers are the same on PlayStation and Xbox they are just labeled differently. R1,R2 vs RB, LB. I Didn’t think about Lucas passing through but yeah that definitely is helpful!
@@cynicalredd Nordhagen Beach or Croup Manor would be cool spots for a build video, maybe? I got the items to move away and come closer but couldn’t figure out the up/down, pillar glitch it is. Great videos btw.
Only 5 minutes in and I'm already learning stuff. The moving the piece back and forth, up and down, without having to walk all over. So many times I have exited build mode because the piece was too close to my face.
Hell yeah man I’m glad to hear it! There’s definitely plenty more that are scattered throughout and some that I didn’t specifically talk about but you may notice so I hope you enjoy. The finished product is pretty awesome too, in my opinion at least but I’m fairly biased being the creator I suppose😂
I appreciate the recommendation, I’ll have to check it out! Tryin my best to go no mods though even if it’s not necessarily for settlement building but they could be useful for another character so thank you 😂
Hi! :) I love watching builds without mods! Thank you for this.
Of course and thank you for commenting, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed! Definitely one of my favorites.
I've been playing for years, but I can always learn new things, and your videos are interesting and informative. Thanks.

Great build. The vendors you chose makes sense since an armor trader stops there.
I didn’t know that initially but when I found out I thought it was perfect! Glad it worked out by accident lol.
Great video! I've always had trouble with this settlement
I highly recommend the ambush kit from the creation club it has some nice junk walls and a guard tower with 9 defence
Thanks for the rec! ill have to check it out forsure.

If the cow's mooing at you is getting on your nerves you should get the mod Stop Mooing at Me.
