Hi, Maya! Thanks for your vlog on Kansai, which is a collective term for Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Ninenzaka, the place after you guys visited Kinkakuji Temple, is pronounced 'ni' as in 'knit', ‘nen’ as in ‘ten’ with an ‘n’ instead of a ‘t’ . The pronunciation rules for Japanese vowels are pretty much the same as those of Spanish😊 Thanks again and I hope you’ll enjoy your trip in Korea as well.

I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to work in and visit Japan

I really enjoyed your vlog. Could you tell us the name of the hotels you stayed in Osaka and Kyoto and how much they cost? Do you have to book in advance?
I stayed at Hiyori Hotel in Osaka :) it was around $80usd per night and we did book in advance only because I wouldn’t want to chance it if a hotel is totally booked haha
when you at nara, did you just queue at noodle restaurant or you booked in advance? also whqt is the place called you had your dinner at Dotonbori after you came back from nara? sorry to ask you so many questions because I am planning to go there in August with my family. did you use osaka thru pass?

Thanks for sharing this with us. Definitely brought me back to my time there a few years ago. I went during the autumn season so it was mostly wet, cold and cloudy but didn't mind that a bit as someone from a tropical country. Hehe. Will be visiting Japan soon this winter. So excited!

would you prefer to stay in Kyoto or Osaka for a longer period? Because I am attending a year abroad in Osaka but Kyoto seems much more fun!
Osaka is super close to Kyoto so you'll be fine either way! :) Kyoto has a lot of nature things to do while Osaka has more of the night life!
