Even as a youngster he had me in stitches and as i rewatched them back over the years nothings changed other than getting more of the adult jokes. One of irelands best comedians although he was banned in ireland due to the Catholic church and their pontificating. Im nearly sure he was banned in Australia for a time too. Way ahead of his time and sorely missed.

I'm an Aussie and I grew up on the Dave Allen show loved him same as dick emery, Benny hill, oh you must watch some mother's do have em, you will wet yourself laughing but so many English shows will have you laughing
I'm 55, and when I was a young lad Dave Allen was a staple in our household once per week, on the ABC in Australia. Had us all rolling around the floor in the lounge room.

Dave was an Irish comedian. He passed away in 2005. You should try Adam and Eve sketch and his religion joke. He was great.
