Does anyone else besides me believe the Dread Master's knew "Vitiate's" true "focus" and decided "if that's what will happen then, forget this empty vessel of an "empire."

I thought that was their whole point which is pretty genius, because we only found out about Vitiate one or two years after the Dread Master storyline. They were trusted allies of the emperor and probably knew about his true "focus" and what he is, maybe they even acted as his vessels, eyes or messengers - bringing braindead destruction to everyone and everything

I don't think they knew about kotfe. They knew vitiate was alive somewhere, but he was silent. He spoke to them directly, but when went quiet and no one was worthy enough to guide them, they decided to act on their own. They wanted to rule the galaxy with dread. Until of course one of them died, that's when they went full on bat shit crazy. They saw a glimpse of death and even longed for its solace, the only bad thing is, their ideals of fear, terror and death made them want to take the whole galaxy with them, as they now saw that as their true purpose.
Can we all just take a moment and agree that they should've made the Dread War its own expansion rather than just the Oricon update? Man, Bioware rushed through their best storylines

I dig it and agree! The Dread Masters needed a longer story line, one that affects the Eternal Alliance? I wished BioWare was worth multi millions and were the ones that officially bought Star Wars from George Lucas. Bless that man, he honestly tried to make something different when he made the prequels and I grew to love them now!
blame EA for the rushed product.
Better yet, remove ops or add a story/flashpoint mode for the ending. Not all of us like to play with larger groups.

My favourite dread masters line is titled in this video birth,pain,fear,death
That's actually a big significance in war time. Mothers killing their daughters, then commiting suicide right after, or doing it both at the same time is a practice in some war torn area. The fear of slavery, rape, torture, etc is greater than death and they saw suicide as a more dignified death.
And the dread masters speciality is terror, fear, dread, and those visions of defilement makes people want to just end it.
I remeber a clip of a woman and his child jumping off a cliff during wwii, when they saw the soldiers closing in on them. Although of course, some of the things they've heard of what these soldiers would do when they are captured are propaganda of their government in order to protect intel, but we've seen that happening even in today's war... So...

Can't remember how many times I died in Dread Palace to record footage/audio , probably the hardest part of making this.
Still found myself in lacking a footage a lot , had to sneek in some KOTET material , I wish there were more of Dread Masters .
I Think the inquisitor should be the one destroying them as "canon " story .

The Dread Masters were very impressive, and I agree with your point about the inquisitor. You seen to put a lot of work into these videos and I appreciate it, I love watching these videos. Speaking of inquisitors, I realise I ask much of you and you doubtless have other things to do, but I would greatly appreciate a video on the inquisitors from Star Wars: Rebels. I love the inquisitors in rebels, particularly the Seventh Sister. Also...looking forward to Thrawn's video...if it's going to be a thing (Wow, i wrote a lot more than I thought I had)

becasue most Sith love the empire or considered it as a mean for sustain their own lifestyles. The thought that someone among their ranks no matter how powerful would not give a flying fuck about it caught them completely off guard. See Dread masters and Tenebrae
Eternal empire vs the galactic empire who would win? tbh I think the galactic empire would win because they had better technology and a legit super weapon but the eternal empire do have lots of force users and sith sorcerers
@@littlemarc7822 probably the galactic empire. Not without killing unbelieveable amounts of civilians tho. I imagine that every planet on which more than a few sith have landed will be bombarded/destroyed till only ashes remain. This probably would mean that the galactic empire likely would die afterwards through rebellions

Who wrote the Dread Masters-Storyline? Because honestly: when a single line of a fan trailer of a video game of a movie can impress you that much - you should write. A lot.

Not enough footage to be used for Jadus, I think. Jadus is my all time favorite too and BioWare has really did a good job at making him a recluse from the galaxy, he is like Snoke in some ways, what do we actually know about him? But at least BioWare did a better job at depicting Darth Jadus.

Mines Calphayas and Raptus
Calphayus is for me because he never died in "canonical" story and we did get to see his face and his real personality without the chains of fear pulling him.

Raptus was my favorite due to his great one-liners, but Calphayus was the most interesting to me since he survived and became more *human* after the Dread War

What is the right time to start the oricon quest line?
Olo Ivo At least after doing both the Planetary story missions on Belsavis (start of Chapter 3 in Empire class stories) & completing the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion. There are a few Operations/Raids that help solidify the groundwork for the Oricon story arc but can be skipped in exchange for a little bit of different dialogue. (Empire example: Dread Masters & Marr would say that the Empire killed one of the DMs if you didn’t do the connected operations beforehand. They’ll credit you for the kill if you did. Likely same for Republic players.)
