    Checkout the Algo Alpha 22 watt laser machine!
    In this video I'll run a demanding engraving of a photo to test the controller board speed/ power and the speed of the machine- engraving at 400 mm/s (24,000 mm/m)! I'll also attempt cutting 3/4 inch solid pine and 10 mm black acrylic in a single pass! As a bonus I'll try color marking some stainless steel!
    The Alpha 22 features 2nd Generation laser beam combining technology called COS that makes for faster and deep cutting while maintaining fast and detailed engraving!
    This machine also goes 400 mm/s (24,000 mm/m)- that's crazy fast!
    The Alpha 22 also include a number of safety features like a lockable key switch, tilt safety, beam problem detection, and more!

    good day, is it possible to cut 0.1mm stainless steel? if so what are the approximate parameters? Thanks

      I haven't tried to cut stainless with a laser diode so I can't say.

    I was about to make the jump with an xTool D1 Pro, but the Algo has me rethinking that. Do you plan to do a comparison video of these two lasers?

      Yes- I have plans for a comparison between the Xtool D1 (non pro) and AlgoLaser. Having ran both I can see the controller board on the Algo is much better by a huge amount! The laser modules are different powers- but again the AlgoLaser is just more refined. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, I purchased this machine but when I power it on and the laser tries to go back to the home position it gets there but makes a loud noise and the power button blinks yellow..any idea? Algo hasn't gotten back to me and it's been 3 days

      Sorry to hear you're having issues- I wonder if one of the homing switches are not being met. Two things to try- manually (by hand) activate the homing switches before the laser reaches them- the controller will look for the x,y switches to be met and then met again. The other thing to try is to put the machine from "Absolute Coordinates) to "Current Position). Best wishes!

    Which laser do you think is better? Athomstack x20 or this one

      t really depends on your projects- but the AlgoLaser is newer technology. The Algolaser runs a lot faster and the frame is more rigid which is good. Both brands offer great machines, but now that I'm reading what I typed the Algo sounds like the way to go! Best wishes!

      one more question, which one is better for cutting thicker things thanks

      @thelaserchannel1  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomaszpralat344 They are both about the same power output. The AlgoLaser has updated laser beam combing tech while the AtomStack has the air assist pump that flows more air... both are need for deep cutting. There's always the option to use a higher flowing air pump on the AlgoLaser but you'll loose the Lightburn controlled air ON/OFF. Overall though the depth of cut will be a little deeper and cleaner with the AlgoLaser with an after market air pump. The next noticeable performance increase comes at 36 watt laser module and at 48 watts it's crazy awesome with a slightly higher price to match.

    Hi
    Can it cut 3mm acrylic in other colours?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Laser diode cut black the best- other colors can be cut but will take more power, more passes, and slower speeds or a combination of power, passes, and speed. The darker the color the easier cutting will be. Blue, white, and semi clear acrylics do not cut with a laser diode. Many retailers offer a sampler pack and I recommend this a starting point for engraving and cutting acrylic. Thanks for watching!
