2:49 Fun Fact:This car at left is the Mirage M1,first car built "entirely" (really not) by JW Engineering (Gulf Racing at the time).And JW Gulf was the first sponsored team in sportscar racing (Gold Leaf Team Lotus' equivalent from F1).But John Wyer* was started his own brand (Mirage) modifing a Ford GT40 Mk I putting a bubble top in car and classifing it as prototype (Group 6 in this era)

Are the GT40 and 917K original cars or are they replicas/continuations? Also, what chassis numbers and years of production?
The GT40's are replica's.
The 917's are all originals.
The one at 0:42 is Chassis 917-008, privately owned.

@@Belgian-Motorsport First car really built by Mirage (JW Engineering's race car brand),JW starts his carrer as a constructor modifing a Ford GT40 Mk I putting a bubble top (Mirage M1).It's the car at left on 2:49
This is possibly the reason that M2 was still inspired in GT40
