As an ER nurse, for lunch we eat a few bites, work, eat a few bites, work, and repeat. Too tired after 12 hrs to eat supper, so I usually just drink a glass of milk. But today for the 4th, one of our doctors brought his grill and grilled steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, and corn on the cobb for us. Then he stepped in to give each of us some time to actually eat while it was hot! Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that we'll never forget it. He was our angel today. We're so blessed to work with that special soul. God gave us a true blessing. So thankful. ❤❤❤

My sister was a vegetarian, and when she was pregnant she ate beef like there was no tomorrow. After her baby was born, beef made her nauseous and she could no longer eat it. My sister has Type A blood which thrives on a vegetarian diet. My niece has Type O blood which is a beef eater, so while she was pregnant, her body adapted to the needs of her baby. Pretty amazing. Glory to God!!
That is really interesting. I’ve read some stuff about that subject and find it fascinating. 😊

The blood type diet really is a real thing. I've been trying to explain it to people having read the book, Eat Right for Your Type years ago.

We are eating a probiotic yogurt to help with the antibiotics we have to take because both my husband and I just found out we have pneumonia. We are grateful for the medication and food to eat and all that God provides.

Your Daddy reminds me so much of my husband. He can’t also do just about anything there is. He’s saved us thousands upon thousands of dollars.
My husband used to say he was a Jack of all trades but a master of none! I thought he could do anything. I miss him so much.

I loved at the start of the video when Corie reached over and dipped her chip in Katie’s plate… So sweet. Reminded me of my boys. 39 & 37. The oldest got married 3 months ago and the youngest isn’t married yet. When they were growing up the youngest one would always reach over and eat off the other one’s plate. And the older one couldn’t stand it, but let him do it anyway. Now when we all sit down and have dinner together. The youngest still reaches over and eats off the other one’s plate and even though the older doesn’t like it, he allows him to do it and I always think it’s so sweet!! 🥰
So fun watching this with Corie still pregnant. What a blessing that you have each other and your boys will always have a best friend in each other. Prayers and blessings for you both and your family.
Mexican food is one of my very favorite foods. I also like left overs. Every since my husband passed away, I find myself eating at odd times. There's just no set time for eating and sleeping for me now and it works for me. So sweet to see Ira at the end of the video. Thanks for sharing your meal with us. Hugs!

Everyone is always talking about how great ya'll Dad is, and he is super great. I want to talk about what a fantastic Mother that you girls had that taught ya'll practically everything that you know. How to act like a Christian woman with integrity, respect for each person in your family, how to grow and cook your own food. We can tell that she is crazy over you precious girls and she is so proud of you! Nobody has ever had a better Mom than that!!!❤

Congrats to you two new mamas. I live alone and strictly home cook my meals. I eat through what I cook even if it take two or three days. Leftovers is not a dirty word to me. It's great to go out and come home to food all ready to eat that just needs a quick reheat. Comes in handy when I'm tired. Take care, ladies.
I think people do enjoy just seeing what you two are up to for the day. It's like going over to a friend or relatives house just to hang out for a while.

My Daddy was handy too and always there when you needed him. He also had very good advice. I miss him so much. He passed in his sleep unexpectedly but I have peace knowing that the last time I saw him I hugged his neck and kissed his sweet cheek and told him how much I loved him. I was blessed to have wonderful parents. You girls are too! I didn’t mean to get so sad here.

Lunch for me is usually leftovers. My husband passed away a few years ago, but I still cook dinner each night. It's always nice to have leftovers. Today was a ham steak, au gratin potatoes and cut watermelon. ❤

I kindly ask for prayers for our grandson born June 25. His name is Townes and they have to get extensive genetic test run. Please pray specifically that the test will come back in a positive way and that we can accept God’s will. I am on the treadmill currently while watching this video. 😊

I would love to have yall prayer for my cousin Jason who is 43 and had a major stroke 3 weeks ago. He's just got out of ICU yesterday and today is being moved to a rehab facility. He still can't talk where you can understand him but he tries. He gets so frustrated. He and I are very close and I'm so scared. Plus he's on the kidney transplant list. He has wegeners disease. We almost last him at 17 years old. I've asked God to wrap his arms around him and make him well.

Had to give another comment, I just love the way yall build each other up and encourage each other, I’m sure it helps being twins but siblings can be so hard on each other and just being family does not guarantee closeness, the relationship yall have goes beyond sisters to best friends and it just warms my heart and gives me hope for my daughters that once they are both adults they can have a close relationship, God bless you both sweet mamas! ❤

So…I’m batch cooking a few things. It’s a cooking marathon kind of day. I just watched Gary Morris sing “Wind Beneath my Wings” on Country’s Family Reunion and that was so wonderful. Now I’m making a big bowl of pimento cheese and watching TH-cam Family twins eat lunch.

It's so different that Katie's little man Ira 👣 wakes up more frequently than his cousin Woody. It's a wonderful time also, as you share how much you love your Daddy. I’ve been thinking about a wok too, but kind of wish my stove have a bigger burner to accommodate. I used to live in a Buddhist monastery (clearly this was before I was saved 😆) and there were mostly Chinese, Vietnamese, Malaysian folks that live there, and the big kitchen had a few big woks on ginormous burners, and it was so effect how many veggies and such they could cook and mix up in those woks!

My twins will be turning 23 on July 28th! That’s a lot of years, but it went too fast! I wish I could hold them as babies again! I even wish mine were 21 still!

When I’m at work I eat a peach yogurt everyday. I have found that if I eat anything more or heavier I just don’t feel as alert for the rest of the day as I do when I eat something light. Great to see both of you !❤
Our family loves Mexican food. I wish I could try the food you're eating, that is Mexican food. We live in New Mexico. Over here, we have authentic New Mexican food as well as Mexican food. Believe me, there is a difference. It took us quite a while to notice the difference between New Mexican and Mexican. It is very different from each other but they are both delicious. I loved being pregnant. It was part of my favorite memories of life. The cravings were so fun. There are so many cravings when you're pregnant. I even loved and craved food that I never liked before I was pregnant.
