A term I've often used to describe an individual who's exhibited genius and brilliance is "Star Child". Tim Minchin is such an individual. He's such an incredible performer and entertainer who really has an affect on you. Always funny, always awesome, always...Tim.

He looks kind of sad to me in this video - hopefully just the jetlag... I really don't kow when this happened but through all of his interviews and especially through his Rock'n'Roll Nerd documentary this guy totally grew on me. Keep going, Tim!
He was like this at Hay Lit.Festival a couple of years ago, similarly jetlagged. But St Tim of Minchin can manage anyhow he likes and we'll love him anyway. All we need now is to get Spooky Men's Chorale into Tim's orbit. UK tour this year. iswear if you love Tim you'll love them too.
There's a bit where he hits a flat note around 3:00 when he says 'Free', and he knows it. You can see him get visibly frustrated with himself...and its absolutely adorable. He then goes on to smash the rest of the song.

I wanted to have his babies but I'm afraid the magic was in the make up. Without it I don't want him anymore. I mean he's still brilliant and all but not sexy.

Kind of reminds me of Not Perfect. This man is one of the only people who can make me cry with a song like this and then cry with laughter.
