ShareX - How To Get Missing Audio Source Options For Screen Recording

- Using ShareX screen recording software you may not have any options for audio source to use your microphone when you first set up. The only option may be "none". I show you how to add your mic and virtual capture as audio sources using version 13.3. But it's the same for all ShareX's going back at least to version 9.

This should be proposed at installation time, I think...
That sounds too much like right. We can't expect these companies to give us simple, basic info to use their product.

Sharex would've been the most popular screen-recording app, were not for the default audio problem that it has, that people get frustrated for not knowing how to make the audio work for recording and end up deleting the app
That's probably true. Talking about shooting yourself in the foot. It's inexplicable why they did it this way. The only app in the history of audio recording apps that doesn't make all audio recording methods it has readily available out the box.

How to play ShareX incomplete video? Say, for instance, due to lack of space, video recording was not complete and a Black ERROR screen appears, in that case, I have seen such incomplete Videos cannot be played.... Please Help as one very Vital Data I need which is not possible to gather from anywhere...

I assume you probably got something figured out by now, but first check and see if your mic appears on other applications? You should be able to type in audio or sound recording in your start menu and get the generic recorder software that comes with your operating system, if you don't have another application that uses audio.
If you do have the mic available elsewhere it's probably drivers. If your mic does appear for other software, probably have to check other settings in ShareX to see why it's not appearing there. Or better yet, you can just download teh latest version and see if it works there as it includes the mics automatically now. Do you know how to record both internal and external audio at the same time?
You shall click on the button Install recording devices
Anyone who hears nothing after installing shareX on a new PC, just click Install recorder devices and it'll work.
I have no idea why they don't include that with the program installation, that's appalling. Bare minimum functionality. I've recorded dozens of clips with no audio and just realized, some I have to try to replicate audio manually.

This works on everything but NOT on Microsoft Teams what the fuck. I did a test recording Spotify audio without a problem, had a Teams meeting afterwards and would NOT record Microsoft Teams audio. Second time in a row and I've done it with ShareX in the past. No idea why it's bollocks now
