The way the game goes slow motion during the impact then goes back to normal is just terrifying you can tell the player or protagonist's fear when he yells no!
Honestly these crashes always feel more devastating rather than in other racing games where crashing sends you into a mini cutscene, which you're forced to sit through which kills the pacing. In all of the midnight games, the pace does not stop for a moment, and I wish more racing games can be more like LA.
I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but the driving and crash psychics on this game are so good, way better than MC3. Three is more nostalgic for me but this is undoubtedly the better game
I think both of them are very nostalgic for me. I group on both of them. Midnight club three was my PS2 era and then when I got to 360 I still played it up until 2008 when this released when I was like nine years old and dude what a EXPERIENCE never experienced a game like that where it was that realistic down to customizing the interior lights, and the fact the map almost was a full recreation of Los Angeles and south central the amount of time I just played this game cruising around pretending I had a job working at Best Buy and then going to my home up in Mulholland Drive driving the speed limit this game will forever be one of my faves ❤❤❤
@@kaydirlmao Yup! Plus you're lucky you're on PS3 because on the Xbox Series X some of the songs that I liked from the PSP were copyrighted, so you get to enjoy the copyrighted songs, bonus if you have Complete Edition (The one I got)

There is just something about this game. I just can't stop playing time to time. Sometimes i just put 24s on a Murcielago or a S7 and pull up somewhere cozy and listen to old school west coast rap and hip hop.
God almighty I miss this game. My best friend and neighbor growing up was always into Midnight Club and I into Need For Speed until I got a PS3 and played Los Angeles and had so much hilarious fun. Man, we were stupid kids! 😅 It's a shame that Rockstar probably won't go back to this series ever because GTA is the biggest cash cow for them right now which really sucks 😓
@fz7459 Yeah well, considering the direction that they are going in right now, along with a bunch of big name people leaving the company like Dan Houser, Lazlow, and Leslie Benzies, it's probably for the best anyway. Can't say I'm hyped for GTA 6 anymore :/

hell fucking no, I'd prefer them to just leave this game out of it's misery because R* will probably fuck it up anyways like they did with GTA Tragedy Devastated Edition & Red Dead Redemption 1 re-re-release, and butcher tf out of the car lists and some songs while they're at it due to the unresolved licensing issues

May the mighty algorithm bless this video
Thanks I'm Glad you like the video 😊
@@Redline-GTthe algorithm actually blessed it
I bought this game again back in October and I accidentally scratched it up the next day ☹️
man something about how rockstar did crashes in this game felt wild.
This Is One Of Coolest Games Ever Made

Exactly how my first ever MC:LA playthrough went on Xbox Series X, for someone who played the PSP version I was up for a whole new experience
I play the PSP version, my dad just got a PS3 tho, can't wait to play it!

I loved how much impact crashes had in this game, to the point i sometimes crashed on purpose in free roam whenever the opportunity arose
All of your videos are good. Its nice to see this perfect game look so good graphically.
Thanks, I appreciate it. This game deserves to be remembered forever.

I love Midnight Club Los Angeles, playing this game yet in 2023 on Xbox Series S
I am glad to see that I am not the only one that fucks the final turn of the beach section of the first race in the video.

Bro the first crash is 100% relateable
The yellow corvette sounds great
I miss this game sooo much damnnn! Thanks for the memories bro 👍🏾

On the PSP version this 1:47 can make the car be totalled.
Gas stations on the good ol' PSP version were no joke
in all MCs except MCL.A., if you hit a gas pump, from 0-10 meters away, your vehicle explodes!
MC2 as well, if I remember correctly.
@@ARWINGx1 Midnight Club 3 too.

Nice I myself made MCLA chases on the game. Nice Compilation

I’ve had the flu this entire week and rebought this game on my series s and I already beat it bc I had so much time 😂
I love it like most accidents, the car continues as if nothing had happened. 😂😂

the big jumps out of the la river are my favourite part of this video
How did you get this performance on pc? I have the patch but it doesn’t look 4k like this
Nice compilation and jump to the rooftops tho :D
Do you run a specific build of Xenia / ISO for it to run this smooth?
My favorite MC game
The street racing vibes were unreal
You ok? Cowboy.
That's definitely frustrating bullshit part about this game.
I remember playing this on PSP version of the game! 👍
