    You forgot to mention that the pilot light needs to be lit manually on older models before the furnace can be run.

    The extension cord should be the same gauge as the camper cord. If not could start a fire

    Do you need to light the pilot light yourself for the furnace? I have a 2004 Fleetwood Laramie and am new to the popup world, I have never used any of the amenities inside yet mainly just cause I'm not sure how.

      The furnace should light by itself.

    I have my new camper plugged into my house with an adapter and there’s a slight hum or fan sound coming from where the fuse box is. Is that normal?

    • @jackofalltradesmasterofnon6120
      @jackofalltradesmasterofnon6120  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a lot of items running at the same time, the fan will come on to cool off the fuse box.

    I have a 2022 pop up and i cant seem to get the heater to work off the plug in alone. I had to use gas and it used a lot for just one night.

    • @jackofalltradesmasterofnon6120
      @jackofalltradesmasterofnon6120  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The heater burns propane for heat, electricity is needed just for the fan.

    Does my 12V switch have to be turned on for the battery to charge while it's plugged in at home?

    • @rusr316
      @rusr316 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the 12 volt switch is only to operate the refrigerator on 12 volt. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. It should only be on when you're traveling to operate the refrigerator.

    • @coltwinchester6124

      I have solar so I run the refrigerator on 12 volt during the day, and on propane at night.

    @Manuel_Z_Kayaks 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wrong... if you're plugged in and your 12v inverter doesn't work you will have no lights because the inverter puts out the 12v for all the lighting... that's my present situation so I'm bypassing the inverter and adding a 110 to 12v inverter with a fuse block which is way cheaper than replacing the built in nverter.
