I can usually use my double burner big buddy heater in an outfitter tent when it is 10 degrees. That wood stove would make it even warmer.

I'd like the recipe for the stew you made.

1st off, if your battery charger is putting maximum amps into a battery that's excepting it, this is an indication your battery cells are shorted. I've seen this happen before when the electrolyte solution freezes and shorts the cell plates layers. At this point, the battery is only good for refurb on a new battery. A lead acid battery if the electrolyte solution is in good shape will not freeze that easily, unless it's Extremely Cold, below 0 deg F. Lead Acid or AGM deep cycle batteries get weaker anyway with extreme cold. A discharged battery should rarely drop to 2 or 3 vdc unloaded. Most smart chargers will not start to charge a 12vdc battery unless it at least senses 9 to 12 volts on the battery, unless it's an old style battery charger like you had in your video, it doesn't care. But if cells are shorted, it will like you shorting the battery charger positive & negative together. You might even hear the battery charger kicking off and on because of an over current load, protecting the charger.

I use a diesel heater on my deep cycle last all night if the diesel heater is on medium or low

Why in the hell list -30 wind-chill when you are not in the weather. Wind chill does not matter when you are not out in it. What matters is air temp.

That stove looks similar to our Vermont Casting Vigilant large parlor stove we have heated our house with for decades. We had two doors on the front that opened to the sides and a large opening on the top that could double as a griddle or cooking surface. I do like the single drop front door though, Very nice.

Were there any problems with the cooking gas evaporation from the gas bottle due to extreme cold? I have a cooker and a largish grill hooked to one gas regulator ( propane) and sometimes the evaporation is barely enough in winter.
