Great video! The only tip I would add, is Andrea Mowry’s great tip: put a lifeline on stitches you pick up, it takes the guess work out of figuring out the first stitch and then making sure you have the right leg.

I like this sock tutorial. Very helpful When you say "knit a few extra rows" to avoid tight instep, do you mean knit a few extra without a decrease? I'm not clear on that part. I want to avoid a tight instep, as I feel I would have that.

Yes knit a few stockinette rows before you start the heel decreases!
