Imagine that Jason successfully prevented enemy invasion without firing a single arrow just because of the way he handle the bow will make the enemy laugh to death. 🤣
China spent more time fighting among themselves and defending against the pirates and barbarians than invading any country. Yet the colonialists not only colonizing over half of the world but they started the world wars would called themselves peaceful and non-aggressive. Without Japan, Asia would probably be more peaceful.
I have to disagree here, without Japan, not just Asia, but the whole world, would be a much safer place. The radioactive waste water they dump at fukujima contaminates across all oceans and seas in the world, not just Asia.
@@dzjanczidi4749 Japan's immediate interest is taking resources from its neighbors. And it always considered it is superior than them. At least this is how to train their soldiers during the world war period. It was their rights to take resources from lesser people. That is similar to western colonialism without pretending.
Walking on the Great Wall in China Jason would’ve been so cool, Your archer name could be Bagolas, Fire an arrow while hitting your own ball bags 😂 The end was awesome, I bet that is one off the bucket list.
In 辽宁丹东, there is also a small piece of the Great Wall called 虎山长城. If got chance, you can take a visit, a very interesting place, the border to North Korea

most Chinese who have studied a bit of history in school (or have watched The Deer and the Cauldron 鹿鼎記) should recognize Shanhaiguan as the place Wu Sangui opened the gates and let the Manchu army in to replaced the Ming dynasty with the Qing.
‘CHINA HAS NOT WASTED A SINGLE PENNY ON WAR’ President Jimmy Carter-who normalized diplomatic relations between Washington and Beijing in 1979-suggested that China’s breakneck growth had been facilitated by sensible investment and buoyed by peace. “Since 1979, do you know how many times China has been at war with anybody?” Carter asked. “None. And we have stayed at war.” The U.S., he noted, has only enjoyed 16 years of peace in its 242-year history, making the country “the most warlike nation in the history of the world,” Carter said. This is, he said, because of America’s tendency to force other nations to “adopt our American principles.” In China, meanwhile, the economic benefits of peace were clear to the eye. “How many miles of high-speed railroad do we have in this country?” he asked. While China has some 18,000 miles of high-speed rail, the U.S. has “wasted, I think, $3 trillion” on military spending. “It’s more than you can imagine. China has not wasted a single penny on war, and that’s why they’re ahead of us. In almost every way.” “And I think the difference is if you take $3 trillion and put it in American infrastructure you’d probably have $2 trillion leftover. We’d have high-speed railroad. We’d have bridges that aren’t collapsing, we’d have roads that are maintained properly. Our education system would be as good as that of say South Korea or Hong Kong,” Carter told the congregation on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
This reminds me a modern great wall was promised but never been completed in a country called TrumpLand. A sleepy and demented old guy somehow managed to take the reign and forgot about finishing the wall.🤣🤣🤣
Interesting video. Please do another video on the reforestation program in China particularly Saihanba man made forests that's larger than the size of Singapore.
In the 14th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1381), the city was built, the customs were built and the guards were set up. Because of its proximity to mountains and seas, it was named Shanhaiguan. Shanhaiguan City has a circumference of about 4 kilometers, is connected with the Great Wall, and is surrounded by the city. The city is 14 meters high and 7 meters thick, with four main gates and various defensive buildings. Including "the first pass in the world" Arrow Tower, Jingbian Building, Muying Building, Linlu Building, Wengcheng and the 1,350-meter-long Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty Plain.
@Jason, did you know that this gate is the gate that changed China from Ming (Han) to Qing dynasty (Man Minority), and China was surrendered to a minority group because of one women.
The history of the Great Wall dates back to the Western Zhou Dynasty, where the famous story of "Beacon and Fire" took place in the capital city of Haojing (now Xi'an, Shaanxi Province). Since then, various dynasties have continued to build the Great Wall for more than 2,000 years. Among them, the Great Wall built by Qin, Han and Ming dynasties is the most representative, with the length of construction exceeding 10,000 miles. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Great Wall entered its first climax, but the length of the wall was relatively short. After Qin destroyed the six kingdoms and unified the country, Qin Shi Huang connected and repaired the Great Wall of the Warring States, which became known as the Great Wall of Ten Thousand Miles. The Ming Dynasty was the last dynasty to repair the Great Wall, and most of the Great Wall that we see today was built at this time.

Actually this is not the end. There is still a section of the Great Wall in Liaoning Province in the Ming Dynasty, but after the invasion of the Manchu and Qing Dynasties, they demolished part of the Great Wall in Liaoning in order to weaken that Liaoning is the land of Han people
This is the main difference between the Chinese culture and the western culture: When encountering nomads and barbarians, the Chinese would build a wall to defend and protect themselves while in the west, e.g. the Romans, they would never build a wall to defend their empire, they would conquer and subdue the barbarians.
