Hi. The character "~" is called a tilde. It comes from Spanish, to form the sound "ni" with the letter "n". eg: señora (pronounce: "seniora"). thanks for your great videos!
I'm an avid user of Obsidian but I'm sure there is plenty I can learn! I love your explanation, that I'm understanding some of the stuff I never got (vaults, all stored plaintext, etc) in just the first few min.
