@@jenot7164 Too bad I was maybe like 75% in Witcher 3 and got issue with my pc that I formatted without backing up the save files. I never knew what happen now for the story.
A woman’s lot was an absolute nightmare for me for 2 reasons, I had only started it right after awakening and I knew nothing about the game, and it took me by surprise because I thought it was just me asking her questions
Also a couple of the missions for the mill maid ruin it, the one where she goes out in the dark to find things is just awful and not at all engaging or enjoyable for me. Johanka's missions are far more interesting. Without spoilers, the first time I played that DLC I got a bad and shocking ending.
@@John-996 I’m afraid you can’t unless you have a previous save, if it is too hard I would maybe suggest you watching a TH-cam guide, kinda like I did😅
For new players like me, I recommend to do the DLCs in this order: 1. Start the game, reach a specific quest and as soon as possible start the "From the Ashes". The reason is that you are gonna earn passive money while playing the base game and other quests. 2. Finish the main game then in the prologue Hans Capon will automatically start his DLC quest. 2. Don't continue the DLC from Hans and finish all the side quests if you want, then go back to Hans. 3. After finishing with Hans, you start the quest with Johanka. 4. Then start with Theresa. 5. Then Band of Bastards. The reason for this order is that I think it makes more sense based on the story line.
I would start with Theresa first after entering Sir Radzig's service so I can get the cool Skalitz shield plus it makes sense for Henry to ask his friend(or girlfriend if you completed the courtship quest) how she survived the massacre at Skalitz rather than waiting weeks of adventures to ask her.
Ok, so seeing everything, I finished from the ashes because of this recommendation. So now, I'll try the Theresa(mill winch) and beat the game while so. Ok.
Based on chronological order wouldn't the Teresa quest be first and then the ashes DLC last? To me you should get your own castle after you complete the game and find out that you are a nobleman but the Teresa quest first takes place in the beginning of the game though (and if I am correct it does flesh out throughout the game as you go through the story as Henry.. I'm not certain but I think you get bits and pieces of her quest? Idk?) I also believe for this reason that the BoB dlc should take place somewhere in between those two and then Capon's DLC after either BoB or at the same time as Ashes.
I'm confused... why are we ignoring the fact that "houndmaster" is only relevant if you do A Woman's Lot asap... if you don't finish that quest... you don't get the dog. if you don't get the dog, you don't get a second companion you can sic on enemies..... Easy decision in my book
@@Dare_To_Game just bought it, since my xbox has been having some problems lately I dont like the fact that you limited saves I dont like not being able to save so I dont have to redo 15 to 30 minutes of gameplay again.
That isn't a good thing, especially if the game unprofitable to play. Something addicting that wastes time is horrible because of time stolen away from you.
There's only just a few hours left of its free weekend/sale and I was looking for what DLC was worth getting as I didn't want to buy the Royal Edition. This was very helpful. Thanks.
It seems to me that many people mistaken DLC for Expansions. DLC are suppossed to be small and cheap. It usually contain one soecific storyline and doesn't add too many thing into the main game, which is the point of DLC. It wouldn't add too many content into the game, otherwise it'll be refered as Expansion Pack.
Paradox think DLC should be small and expensive. Names are irrelevant. While these DLCs are small, they're priced fairly, so not a huge deal. The Royal version can be had pretty cheap now, and includes all of them. I don't care if they call it a sequel, an expansion, a DLC, or an Act, as they originally called them on KS. I just want to continue Henry's story.
DLC means downloadable content, it should be the mother of anything that may have come after the base game has been released. Be it weapon skins, cosmetics, expansion pack etc.
Bethesda took the concept their settlement building system from a mod for Fallout 3 called "Real Time Settler" which was unbelievably similar to the workshop system as seen in Fallout 4. I remember running around in fallout 3 collecting barrels and building a base on an overpass.
What I thought would have been cool for the From the Ashes Dlc, would be if you have the Guard house before the final siege that you would have the option of sending some of your guards from Pribilyslavitz to assist.
Do you have any suggestions on when to play the dlcs with respect to the vanilla quests so the experience and storyline would feel fluid or with the most possible dialogue options?
My suggestion is to do Han's Capon DLC first thing first, then do Theresa's DLC, next is Band of Bastard right after Baptism of Fire, then build Prybislavitz (From the Ashes) right after that, all that money from selling armor from BoB should cover the cost of rebuilding Prybislavitz, then lastly Johanka's DLC.
@@paztypastn5785 I did exactly that. Just bought the Royal Edition, played in Hardcore and started the From the Ashes quest as soon as I got it. That was a BIG MISTAKE! I barely had any money on me, and am losing hundreds everyday. Had to resort to stealing, hunting and mainly killing cumans (while underpowered so had to cheese it using the horse) to get Pribyslavits profitable. But after it's max profitable (~2k a day), it kinda breaks the game's economy. I'm a rich ass mofo now.
I got them all in a bundle sale. At that price I was happy with all of them. For full price DLCs though, I think they all fall short in terms of length. The quests are great, but there should have been much more content for that price.
Band of bastards had some of the most badass members, the stone, dangler, the bearman brothers. Some colourful charismatic characters like Stephan fletcher and jakey. And a super fitting and likeable leader kuno. It sucked when I managed to keep every single one alive only for them to just vanish straight after it ended :/
Great list. I have yet to play A Woman’s Lot, but even with just the other three, I agree wholeheartedly with your ranking. I did enjoy the Charlatan sidequest because of how I roleplayed, but I agree with everything else. It’s funny you mention Fallout 4 settlement building. That was, by far, my favorite feature in any Fallout game, and it’s where I spent most of my time in the game.
Yes, the Charletan Quest nearly doubles the playtime for Hans' DLC, so it is definitely worth doing. And right, I spent literally hundreds of hours playing with the settlement building in FO4. I hope they implement it in the next Elder Scrolls Game.
I’m adoring this game. I beat it when it first came out and put like 50 hours on it and I just started a fresh play through and I’m falling in love all over again.
I'd probably switch Hans and Ashes due to the lack of flexibility which disappointed me greatly. I had been looting bandits non stop and had a ton of groschen and all kinds of super nice gear saved up. Then I find that it takes less than 100k to completely finish the town and I cannot kit out my troops. Was hoping for a lot more freedom to build as well.
Yeah, leading up to release, i had planned and saved up enough suits of matching armor for 20+ Guardsmen, thinking that that would be a rudimentary feature. So, i was pretty dissapointed when it was not.
Same here. Dark Milanese Brigandine, Arching Basinette, the works. They would have looked great! Yep, I had a chest full of equipment ready to take over Bohemia.
One of my playthroughs I decided to collect enough gear that any warlord would be proud. I still have it going. It takes like 15 seconds for my chest to open and have over 10 million groschen. Could raise quite the army if the game allowed it. Heck I could be Bohemia's Henry VII!! Don't know if modders could do anything like this but warlord content would be amazing. Like raise an army and take over the province. Maybe have siege weapons too
@@iamhop I had the slow chest open thing at one time. I finally sold off all the gear. To keep from accidentally selling things I wanted to keep, I moved those items to the chest in the alchemy lab. Along with all my herbs, of course. Yes a mod that would allow us to become warlords, would be sweet.
1) Bastards. Fun. More combat oriented. Too short. Good rewards. Needed more options to complete the quest. 2) Hans. I didn't really care about the Hans part, but the bandit camp was great, if short. 3) Ashes. Throw money at buildings. Watch some cutscenes. Meh. I guess the judging and recruiting people was okay. 4) Woman. Haven't played it. Can't bring myself to find the motivation. Don't care about Theresa or Johanka.
Bastards was really fun, just too short. I also liked the bandit camp part the best for Hans. I liked FTA, but it was too limited and missed too many opportunities. I really liked AWL, it was the first one to actually go for a good 10ish hours.
Dare To Game yeah but there are no skills for them and you pretty much march with it at your side. Would be nice to be able to use a lance from the saddle or something.
Awwww man I was really looking forward to BoB but that's just not enough content and there's no replayability. I fully expected it to add a function where you went on frequent patrols with the Band after the story. What a shame.
They should have given more emphasis on the relationship between Henry and Hans Capon like the old squad of Mathew, Fritz and Mathias are all scattered and you don't have much of BFF vibe moments with them other than unexpected visit and in the quest Masquerade but, whenever we are in a cutscene with Hans we feel that we could use a friend like that, well Atleast I felt that way, so my point is they should have done something more to emphasize their relationship.
@@adumdumdum Not everyone has a 1tb+ SSD to store all their games most have a 240gb - 500gb which is only enough for 5-10 games HDD are still the way to go if you're on a budget atleast for a game library
@@jackoberto01 Sure, but on that basis, not everyone needs to play all games ever if they can't afford the hardware. The devs shouldn't just drop everything to patch the game so it runs on little Timmy's 10 year old toaster, possibly compromising the look of the game in the process.
@@adumdumdum Certainly not but this game has very long loading screens in comparsion to similiar games Worst is when changing graphics settings, something you'll be doing a lot if you're on a budget. With my comment I meant that most people have a SSD but not everyone has enough to store their games. Just as most people have a semi recent graphics card like a 1060, 1070 but not everyone has a 2080ti
@@jackoberto01 I have a 1070 as well with most settings on high and very high. Loading is not an issue at all. The only loading time I'd remotely consider longer than usual is the initial load after booting up the game. For most games it doesn't really matter if you're on a SSD or a HDD, but not for this one. Having an SSD makes a big difference. Similar one is Star Citizen. Runs great with SSD and it's almost unplayable with a HDD. The difference between the two is night and day, and sadly, that's just how hardware works. If someone can't put up with buying a 240gb SSD so they can play a game that pretty much requires an SSD to be enjoyable, then maybe they shouldn't play the game. If everyone would get upset when something technically challenging comes out and they can't immediately jump into it with their dated hardware, we would be still playing pong. My initial reaction was aimed at OP, who sounds like is on the very same mind set. tl;dr: If your game runs so incredibly poorly that opening a map has a 10 second delay, maybe you should consider upgrading, not shitting on the devs for making additional content.
When the DLC were first announced, it was the least exciting for me, but honestly, i think it stands out pretty well as the best. Don't get me wrong, if Band of Bastards would have been 2-3x as long as it was, then BoB would be my #1.
Dare To Game me too, I love the combat of the game so combat focused dlc would have been my favorite by far! But it was short and the story I thought just grazed the surface when it could have been much more in depth. And I really was hoping to see some kind of leadership role like commanding troops or something. Nevertheless I enjoyed it
Bought the base game without any dlc and now the complete edition.with all the dlc is just $2 more. I can't still buy all the dlc for 4.99 is it worth it?
Bit late on this, but yea, easily worth $5 assuming you're really enjoying the game and want more. But there's nothing that's really essentially either, and the base game has plenty of content already, so if you've already put in a ton of hours and are starting to feel any sort of burnout at all, then you're safe to avoid it and just move on as well.
The tournament always starts on it self after i speak radzig at the beggining, even though im not in epilogue yet, im not too strong to compete and its mark failed if i not participate or defeated
The quest is to participate in the tournament. If you fail to do so, then you fail the quest. Some quests have two options. You can only choose one. If you choose one, you fail to choose the other.
I just started playing about a week ago and the way theresas story has been tied into to the beginning was so seamless i didn't even realize it was dlc till after i was finished
A Women Lot, with Madonna of Sassau part are the best, specially that monsigneure is one of the best written character in game. He didnn't just apoint verdict of heresy like that even tough he rightfully can. [SPOILER] He did his actual investigation, talking with other people and even warn Johanka first to stop what she did. And even that he still put her on fair trial. And even in the trial he gaves Johanka a second and third chances to correct her doing. And the best part was, when he said to joanka "If you got visited by the virgin marry again, tell father fabian and he will call for me." Like at the very end he still thinks that this matter isn't just a bs but something to considered carefully, that he willing to travel back across bohemia to personally handle it...
Wait a second. So From the Ashes DLC the bandits and Cumans never attack so there is really no need to build the guard house then. You've just made my decision for me. Thanks.
@@Dare_To_Game Guard house also has an arena, so you don't have to travel back to Bernie for practice. Also, different play styles I guess, but I always make decisions in games like this with the character in mind. What would Henry choose; a bunch of horses or an on-site military presence that could potentially prevent/save the villagers from a Skalitz 2.0?
A women's lot should come with a giant disclaimer that that you're going to be locked into a 4-5 hour story line where you're picking flowers as Theresa
If you're on the latest version got to skalitz. There's bandit combat non stop and one of the recurring ones has a stinger Just got to the one gate that let's you into town
@@dizidonkey6152 I have been seeing it drop almost every hold up right in side the gate of Skalitz. You can reset the event over and over by riding north into the woods, just past the house where you inquired about the priest and their daughter. It is quite an fight, so let them kill each other off and then take on the ones that are left. The bandits are well armed and there is not much open space, unless you can lure them outside the gate with arrows.
I just finished the main game. I put 50 hrs on it and i did not do many side quests lol.Your video sold me.also in the dlcs so ty and your earned a new sub.Btw do we have any word for the next game in the series?
Im on the fence. I own the game on disc but left it back home after beating it. It's on sale for $10 on psn and I'm thinking of grabbing it because I absolutely loved the base game when I beat it last year
As someone who hasn't bought the game (yet) can anyone tell me if it's worth buying the Royal Edition for a bit more money? Does the main game have enough to warrant buying on it's own or is the DLC a no brainer? Thanks.
what about treasures of the past I know that it's not really a dlc but I wanna see some ideas you have about warhorse I thought there needed to be more because only having a little bit of the armor in each chest they should've added some light warhorse armor in each chest
Doing a new play through after a couple of years now with dlc... Just started and went to the women's one... You said 10 hrs before I get back to playing?
No, as far as they have said, these are the only ones there will be for this game. But, once official modding tools are released, i am sure we will get DLC sized mods.
I wish they did a dlc Ware Henry gets his revenge and gets the sword back. The game makes me feel like it's unfinished because I beat it and this dose not happen.
I enjoyed all the DLCs except A Woman's Lot. I actually hated that one. It's way too scripted, it forces me to play in a certain way, to follow predetermined paths and to use a useless character that I can't keep using, so I don't see the point on playing with it. Besides all of that, most of the quests are boring to me, I'd never choose to do those tasks but I have no choice. I would never accept most of those quests. I like to have options, to play an open game, no to be forced to play in a certain way and to have a secondary character choose make decisions for me. That DLC was SO disappointing to me, I just wanted it to end and keep playing the regular game, which I absolutely love. The rest of the DLCs are cool. Yeah, they're short but I liked all of them. They feel like part of the game; not like A Woman's Lot which feels like a completely different game. From The Ashes seems to me like a good starting point for more DLCs which could allow us to actually use that new town.
Do you guys know what to do after beating every quest and geating evrey best iteam and explosre the hole world over 150 locations and all skils leveld up comppleatly and played all the dlcs over 350 hours on 2 playthrows
1. BoB - more of what I like most about KCD, but again so many missed opportunities and far too short. At least WH showed it can incorporate more cinematic content in their DLC, and flesh out (more or less) new characters, which it then proceeds to remove from the game. This gets my vote for No. 1 because it actually seemed to have a story arc, even if it ends abruptly and takes your BoB’s out of play at the completion. 2. A Woman’s Lot - mostly because of Theresa’s back story. Other than the Cuman torchlight ride out from Skalitz, this one missed opportunities for cinematic visuals. Theresa loses everything and everyone, but settles (following this DLC) for sweeping out her uncle’s mill in Rattay forever after. Really? Johanka’s storyline was okay, but bordered again on stitching too many bits and bobs together in an attempt to creates a coherent narrative. WH seems to create its DLC by committee without really having a coherent narrative it wants to tell. So it create good, but not great DLC. You finish this DLC with questions (what happens to Jóhanka and Matthias, who was the murderous Skalitz soldier, etc.) 3. Amorous Hans - found it funny, too short, and ultimately disappointing because Han’s affair is just that...again ends with questions you won’t get answered... who was Sir Alphonse and why was he dealing with brigands to set up more highway robbery? Who was his buddy Anselm of Domky? Where do the brigands go - does Anselm get revenge etc. As you stated, these DLC don’t seem really more than side quests added after the fact - or maybe extracted from the game for DLC? 4. From the Ashes - should have been great, but felt attenuated and the choices seemed arbitrary. Would have loved to have rebuilt Rovna along with Pribyslavitz given the promise to the sole survivor of Rovna and finding the priest to accomplish that end. WH just doesn’t go the little bit extra here to create a fully satisfying experience. As much as I love KCD, everything - the game, the DLC, seems incomplete and ultimately doesn’t deliver. The landscape of Bohemia and the historical details of the towns and villages being the notable exceptions.,
IMHO they are all good. They are short, so that criticism is fair, but they are fun and not expensive. For the few dollars that they cost, they are all worth buying. Woman's Lot ties together so much that it is IMHO a must have.
Band of bastards could of certainly expanded outside of the story it offers, I surprisingly enjoyed playing as Theresa, it was like a little step into a horror version of the game. The hans one was a bit hit and miss personally. From the ashes was very enjoyable and having a base in the north of the map was very ideal! It’s hard for me to number them. Also I feel the same about fallout4, I generally don’t compare it to other fallout games and see it more as a fun survival/action title as 9/10 I’ll reinstall the game just to mess about with base building.. building a factory and producing my own gear/ammo/aid, was awesome!
my list after playing all of them. 1. band of bastard. 2. from the ashes. 3. a womens lot. 4. adventures of sir hans capon. i loved BOB i loved the team and exploring the map. plus the battle and armor at the end. from the ashes was kind of boring but the town and money reward is insane, i mean you get to build your own town. I also enjoyed a womens lot, being able to return to skalitz again is so great. (1)
(2) and being able to see henry from another prospective was amazing. skalitz is my fav town in the game so I loved this dlc. tbh this is the only dlc that i haven’t finished, i am towards the end but i know how it ends. then there’s the adventures of sir hans capon, it was fun but it just felt like any random side quest and it was very short. plus the title doesn’t make any sense since 90 percent of the time hans is laying around and your the one adventuring. felt like a chore playing this one just going around and getting stuff for hans. It was just disappointing because I had high hopes for this one. Overall they are all fun but Band of bastards was unlike the rest mostly because of the sick armour at the end. Edit: I realize now that the johanka DLC exists and I assuming that when you made this vid that it didn’t. I am a good ways through that one and it is quite fun. I would put it in between 3 and 4
FOr me, i like to go with Baker, Guardhouse, and Swordsmith. But, it depends, so here is what you have access to for building each. Stables: Three great horses, and a ton of new horse head armor. Guardhouse: Combat arena, and Sinew Bow (Best Bow in the Game) Swordsmith: Tusk (New unique Longsword) Armorsmith: Boarback Shield (Best SHield in the Game) Baker: Dried/Baked goods for sale (Higher Revenue for town than Butcher) Butcher: Smoked Meat Products.
Good video 👍. I really enjoyed this game, but have not bought the DLC yet. I might buy it during the steam summer sale, and play it then during my 2nd playthrough.
The ending I got for AWL was the first time in a while that made me feel like I truly fucked up. Although Theresa's part of the DLC was meh for me. It started off pretty well, there was this huge sense of dread knowing that the raid was going to happen but afterwards the gameplay just dragged. First it's getting medicine for a character you know is going to die anyways, the dogs poor AI, a few combat sections when Theresa is basically a wet noodle, etc.
I bought Kingdom Come Deliverance a while ago years ago in fact recently started playing because of quarantine it's a great game for sure. The glitches can be really frustrating sometimes and the choices that you make in the game really punish you. I can't believe none of the DLCs have an add-on map expansion pack I don't want to play the same map I've discovered every single detail. Your video was very informative thank you
Nice video man,i have a question,i just finished the main quest and i do Inted to buy all the dlcs but could you tell me how much do they last?of course you can't tell me exactly the lenght, but aprocsimatly how much do they take to finish?thanks If you take the time to responde,i would really apreciate that mate.
A few hours each. They are each more like an extra questline added to the game. From the Ashes, Amorous Adventures, and Band of Bastards all add one extra storyline, and A Woman's Lot adds two. All together, they might cumulatively add 15-20 hours, if you really explore each one.
What the Hell? I thought this was a Medieval Dynasty playlist?!? Oh well, I love KCD as well, so I went ahead and watched (And I agree with your assessments).
I only buyed "Band of Bastards" and "Ancients Treasures" in Ps4, cause I like fighting. Actualy Cuno Camp has desapear, and all the game has a delay, seems that graphics textures slow it down. I mail Warhorse Studio but have no responce, do you know something abosut this? Thanks a lot! Great Work at usual!
I do not know anything about that. I think that once they release the final patch, all the DLCs will be well integrated and all graphical issues will have been dealt with.
So...I have a thought on the Band of Bastards DLC regarding the armor. Given how hard the development team worked to keep realism in Kingdom Come Deliverance do you think maybe Henry is choosing not to strip the armor from his enemies? I mean, beyond player choice or basically like a break in the 4th wall. Wouldn't it be really bad for Henry to say show up wearing the enemies armor to a fellow soldier encampment? They would either try to kill him on sight thinking he's the enemy or even worse think he has gone full traitor, I would think. Henry's subconscious AKA the player- "Take the armor, take the armor, take the armor, take the armor." Henry- "Shut up subconscious you're drunk! If I show up wearing that before the Duke of whatever I'm a dead man." :)
I wasn’t a fan of the first half of Woman’s lot DLC. Yes the characterisation for Theresa was good, but a lot of the quests were fundamentally broken, such as the absolutely abysmal quest where it makes you search for linen and flowers. The bloody dog wouldn’t seek. The quests in this half were absolutely dull, being almost entirely fetch oriented. It also gave no opportunity to level up Theresa to survive more easily. Perhaps the thing that really made me dislike it, however, was the fact that it’s really easy to get dragged into it without knowing what you are doing. It can be initiated right at the start of the game, when Henry has awoken at Rattay and is conversing with Theresa. I made the mistake of asking her to tell the full story and all of a sudden I was balls deep in DLC. My overall experience with it wasn’t great.
Completely agree. Theresa's story would make more sense as a mid to late game series of smaller, self-contained quests. Also, it wouldn't yeet you out of the main game for the 3-4 hours it takes to complete it
Yes, I'd guess so but if you look up what exactly is needed to finish it you can get through it in just an hour or so and Henry will get one of the best shields in the game from it.
@@Brown2099 Yes, I was really disappointed the first time I played it, did expect to receive at least some of the stuff I was collecting as Teresa. She could simply say she doesn't need this anymore now that she's a millmaid again and give you what you've collected and maybe even teach you something with the experience from all of this, then it wouldn't feel so pointless.
I quite enjoyed resettling Pribilyslavitz! Raising blood money by slaying bandit scum to fill the coffers. And to think I screwed Princess Stephanie, took her husbands shirt, and granted the title Bailiff with accolades by Sir Divish himself. Now I spend my spare time hunting game for the village, honing my alchemy skills, then down at the local Inn at night playing Farkle. Tis a peaceful life.
Interesting, I'd pretty much reverse the list, except for BoB being last for me. I wonder if you did the 'haunting of Ledetchko' part in TAA, cause I've seen gamers skip it by simply paying for the potion and then they complain it's too short. ...Just looked up your playthrough, you actually didn't do it, maybe because the Charlatan was still in Sasau, he should be in Ledetchko when you talk to him about this, don't know if they didn't think of that and it screws up everything.
1.A Woman's Lot (I didn't expect much, but it was brilliant. especially Johanka/Inquisition story, among the best storylines in any RPG I ever played) 2.From the Ashes (perfectly complement the original game but also add something entirely new) 3. Sir Hans Capon 4. BoBastards (biggest disappointment, I expected so much more from this idea; completely opposite of the n1. - it was too short, not particularly connected with the main story, kinda rushed and overall pointless; also anti-climactic I defeated the main villain in one hit)
Never played the game, want to but my pc cant play it. With that said watched few playthroughs. I had no idea it had DLCs i do vaguely remember one coming but 4.. and i see on steam there 60+ dollars of dlcs now... wtf
I would just recommend the Royal edition, its usually like 30-40 dollars, and its the full game plus all the DLCs, but yeah, this game does take a decent PC.

I am sorry for watching this video soo late.. I liked your rating although I would probably place Band of Bastards on number 1 because I absolutely loved the story.. and the loot
What i find annoying in kcd is that all enemy’s look the same, they have all black armor, I mean why didn’t the zul people wear blue ? That would have been much cooler especially because we don’t have a cool blue tabard in the game except for Sasau, but in my opinion blue and green is a horrible combination xD ( I really wanted the tabard of the Stone, cause it had this little heraldic shield on it which I 5ought was pretty cool, was so disappointed when I found out that I couldn’t loot them...)
Dude I hated the women's lot I didn't realize I was activating it and I wanted to complete the game first and I couldn't figure out how to get out of it
I only played the original game and I was curious if the DLCs are worth looking into since they are not a continuation of events. You praise the most - A Woman's Lot , and when you play as Henry you say you help Johanka... well thats kind of messed up, because (spoiler) -his previous girlfriend Johanka dies in the main story- (was wrong). So you basically play to help and get to know someone that -you already know is going to die- ... that is not appealing at all to me, not in this order anyway.
@@SelineSnape I was pretty sure her name was Johanka ... was it Bianca ? Hmm.. Well wait so they both worked at the Tavern ?... that got me confused eventually. Ok so I guess I was wrong then , nvm , they just bot worked at the Tavern and... I misremembered her name. Well thanks for correcting I guess. :)
@@L2Xenta Yes the girlfriend was definitely Bianca and I'm not sure about the tavern, but since you help Johanka with healing people in the DLC (as far as I know) and you meet her in the main game at the monestary for a quest that also requires healing people, I'm 100% sure it's the same person and she's very much alive^^
@@SelineSnape Oh right... so thats why Johanka the name was familiar to me, its indeed the girl at the monastery, there are also a few smaller side quests that send you to the area sometimes so you eventually interact with her not just on 1 quest in the main game. Well in the main game she was kind of bad to Henry , due to my choices in game, as she claimed she can handle this guy that was annoying her with his flirt (married guy, overseer of monastery assets), so I let her handle him, and then she just caved in and went on to probably have an affair with a married guy, I dont think I saw her after that, lol. If Henry actually helped her before.... and she ends up being like that...thats not very cool, was rather dismissive of Henry's final call to reason. As for the DLC , I have heard actually there are multiple endings to her fate .... so yea dunno if she always turns out good or even makes it. P.s. yea in the main game Bianca was working at the hometown tavern...in the start of the game Henry goes to get some ale for his father from the Tavern, and Bianca works there, you actually talk to her to get you the cold ale from the cellar.
1. Tournaments DLC (longest shit ever, profitable) 2. A Woman`s Lot (pretty interesting, pretty long) 3. From The Ashes (story-based dlc, neat) 4. Band Of Bastards (short, profitable, a lot of fighting) 5. The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon (pretty short yet still exciting) 6. Treasure Of The Past (pretty interesting, profitable)
From the ashes made me so sad, I was really hoping to be able to have a money sink with growing roads and homes and a expanding town with loads of different paths, but it was 70k grochen and riding to towns to get supply’s which is very easy to grind out and not very good for long time enjoyment

The base game had tones of content in it, you can easily enjoy this game with buying NO DLC which is more than I can say for most games these days!
That is true, the base game is complete all on its own.
WOLOLO420 Same goes for the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Base game fantastic. Expansions packs just as fantastic.
Base game is good but terribly unfulfilling. You don’t avenge your parents or kill Markus or get the sword back. Which makes the ending kinda blah.

Ha same happened to me
Also a couple of the missions for the mill maid ruin it, the one where she goes out in the dark to find things is just awful and not at all engaging or enjoyable for me. Johanka's missions are far more interesting. Without spoilers, the first time I played that DLC I got a bad and shocking ending.

@@John-996 I just loaded my last save because you can't really exit in any other way I think
For new players like me, I recommend to do the DLCs in this order:

There's only just a few hours left of its free weekend/sale and I was looking for what DLC was worth getting as I didn't want to buy the Royal Edition. This was very helpful. Thanks.
Glad it was useful.
Well, i would love a blood and wine sized expansion.
Exactly, thanks to witcher 3 dlc, they set up the bar way too high, now my expectations are higher
That is pure nonsensical semantics.
Had BoB been 3 times as long, it would have been #1 in my list.
Yeah, it would have been my favorite if it was longer.
I was hoping for a dozen battles. That would have been satisfying.
Needed more variety. It was five skirmishes and a speech check. That was it.
What I thought would have been cool for the From the Ashes Dlc, would be if you have the Guard house before the final siege that you would have the option of sending some of your guards from Pribilyslavitz to assist.
Yes, i agree. if the settlement would have played into the story.
I agree with your ranking. I had fun with them all for sure, but certain ones are better than others.
Yeah, i definitely appreciate all of them because i love this game, and i enjoy playing more of it.
THis is also my suggestion.
Bah, ignore all that and do From the Ashes first in hardcore. You will come to appreciate the dlc a lots more.
Yeah, they are a tad shorter than i would have hoped.
Band of bastards has to be my favourite, I wish it was longer.
If it was twice the length that it was, it would likely also be my favorite.
Thats what she said :(
@@Dare_To_Game thats what she also said :(
Band of bastards is my favorite and definitely the best one out of the dlcs. And way more enjoyable
Definitely with the witcher 3 one of the best solo open-world games ever made
Band of bastards had some of the most badass members, the stone, dangler, the bearman brothers.
Absolutely
Bastards was really fun, just too short. I also liked the bandit camp part the best for Hans. I liked FTA, but it was too limited and missed too many opportunities. I really liked AWL, it was the first one to actually go for a good 10ish hours.

Yeah, the polearms are crazy OP.
Instead making dlcs they should patch the game to remove some of the loadings.
For God's sake even open ya map have a loading...
or you could get an SSD like everyone and their mother nowadays.
@@adumdumdum Not everyone has a 1tb+ SSD to store all their games most have a 240gb - 500gb which is only enough for 5-10 games
HDD are still the way to go if you're on a budget atleast for a game library
@@jackoberto01 Sure, but on that basis, not everyone needs to play all games ever if they can't afford the hardware. The devs shouldn't just drop everything to patch the game so it runs on little Timmy's 10 year old toaster, possibly compromising the look of the game in the process.
@@adumdumdum Certainly not but this game has very long loading screens in comparsion to similiar games
Worst is when changing graphics settings, something you'll be doing a lot if you're on a budget.
My initial reaction was aimed at OP, who sounds like is on the very same mind set.
tl;dr:
If your game runs so incredibly poorly that opening a map has a 10 second delay, maybe you should consider upgrading, not shitting on the devs for making additional content.
I wasn’t excited about a woman’s lot but I thought it was by far the best dlc
When the DLC were first announced, it was the least exciting for me, but honestly, i think it stands out pretty well as the best. Don't get me wrong, if Band of Bastards would have been 2-3x as long as it was, then BoB would be my #1.
Dare To Game me too, I love the combat of the game so combat focused dlc would have been my favorite by far! But it was short and the story I thought just grazed the surface when it could have been much more in depth. And I really was hoping to see some kind of leadership role like commanding troops or something. Nevertheless I enjoyed it
Exactly.
Yeah, it bugs me that it marks it as failed if you don't participate.
The quest is to participate in the tournament. If you fail to do so, then you fail the quest. Some quests have two options. You can only choose one. If you choose one, you fail to choose the other.
It repeats itself. You don’t actually fail the quest overall. Just for that specific time frame. It resets about every other few days.

A Women Lot, with Madonna of Sassau part are the best, specially that monsigneure is one of the best written character in game. He didnn't just apoint verdict of heresy like that even tough he rightfully can.
[SPOILER]
He did his actual investigation, talking with other people and even warn Johanka first to stop what she did. And even that he still put her on fair trial. And even in the trial he gaves Johanka a second and third chances to correct her doing.
And the best part was, when he said to joanka "If you got visited by the virgin marry again, tell father fabian and he will call for me."

@@Dare_To_Game Guard house also has an arena, so you don't have to travel back to Bernie for practice. I wish they did a dlc Ware Henry gets his revenge and gets the sword back. The game makes me feel like it's unfinished because I beat it and this dose not happen.
It's cause KCD was act 1&2 of henry's story and KCDII is the final act. Originally the game was supposed to end at Baptism of Fire (end of act 1)

They are currently working on that bug. Warhorse has promised thatit will be fixed in their next patch.
I bought them all for €10 is it worth it
Yeah, at that price, they are definitely worth it.,
I enjoyed all the DLCs except A Woman's Lot.
Indeed, It was really boring to me!
Do you guys know what to do after beating every quest and geating evrey best iteam and explosre the hole world over 150 locations and all skils leveld up comppleatly and played all the dlcs over 350 hours on 2 playthrows
Play a different game?
Hardcore and get 100% achievments
You finish this DLC with questions (what happens to Jóhanka and Matthias, who was the murderous Skalitz soldier, etc.)
The landscape of Bohemia and the historical details of the towns and villages being the notable exceptions.,
Well said. I still may buy them all yet though

I would put it in between 3 and 4
Ok I'm stuck. Should I build stables or guardhouse? Armourer or swordsmith? And finally, baker or butcher?
FOr me, i like to go with Baker, Guardhouse, and Swordsmith. But, it depends, so here is what you have access to for building each.
Stables: Three great horses, and a ton of new horse head armor.
Guardhouse: Combat arena, and Sinew Bow (Best Bow in the Game)
Swordsmith: Tusk (New unique Longsword)
Armorsmith: Boarback Shield (Best SHield in the Game)
Baker: Dried/Baked goods for sale (Higher Revenue for town than Butcher)
Butcher: Smoked Meat Products.
Guardhouse

A few hours each. They are each more like an extra questline added to the game. From the Ashes, Amorous Adventures, and Band of Bastards all add one extra storyline, and A Woman's Lot adds two. All together, they might cumulatively add 15-20 hours, if you really explore each one.
@@Dare_To_Game thanks for the response,yt didn't send my any notification...really apreciate it man
Do you need to create a new save to play the dlcs
MopTop no
I didn't expect Jordan Peterson to rank Kingdom Come's dlcs
Its a niche interest.
I stop playing a while back but now I see the dlc for 20 bucks should I go back and play
He moved on once you finished the storyline as his duty is over.
Henry's subconscious AKA the player- "Take the armor, take the armor, take the armor, take the armor."
Henry- "Shut up subconscious you're drunk!
Also, it wouldn't yeet you out of the main game for the 3-4 hours it takes to complete it
@@sniperwolf50 EXACTLY!
You sound like Jordan peteeson luv the vid btw
Ngl A womans lot is actually a nightmare for new players
Yes, I'd guess so but if you look up what exactly is needed to finish it you can get through it in just an hour or so and Henry will get one of the best shields in the game from it.
@@DerEchteBold I did it, got the achievement and the shield it wasn't too bad but I would rather have gotten on with the main story l.
@@Brown2099
Yes, I was really disappointed the first time I played it, did expect to receive at least some of the stuff I was collecting as Teresa.
She could simply say she doesn't need this anymore now that she's a millmaid again and give you what you've collected and maybe even teach you something with the experience from all of this, then it wouldn't feel so pointless.
@@DerEchteBold agreed
I quite enjoyed resettling Pribilyslavitz! Raising blood money by slaying bandit scum to fill the coffers. And to think I screwed Princess Stephanie, took her husbands shirt, and granted the title Bailiff with accolades by Sir Divish himself. Now I spend my spare time hunting game for the village, honing my alchemy skills, then down at the local Inn at night playing Farkle. Tis a peaceful life.
It is definitely a great addition for the sake of post game roleplay.
Royal edition comes with all dlc right?
Yes.
1.A Woman's Lot (I didn't expect much, but it was brilliant. especially Johanka/Inquisition story, among the best storylines in any RPG I ever played)
2.From the Ashes (perfectly complement the original game but also add something entirely new)
3. Sir Hans Capon
A woman lots was fucking God awful what the fuck this dude is tripping how they gonna make a stealth mission with invisible walls
My tier list
1:tournament
2:From the Ashes
3:Band of Bastards
4:A woman’s lot
5:Amourous adventures
6:Treasures of the past
From the ashes was the best one for me...
I liked a lot of things about From the Ashes, i just felt it missed too many opportunities.
@@Dare_To_Game your right but i still liked it a ton i think thry should let us buikd out the village even more and add assaults and the stuff you talked about...
A joke about a frog.
A frog walks into a bank and says to the lady teller at the counter “i want a loan.” So the lady teller says “well ok sir my name is patty, patty whack whats your name” and he says “kermit, kermit jagger my father is mick jagger from the the rolling stones.” So she says “ok mr jagger we need some collateral to put up against your loan” then the frog puts out a couple of bits and pieces from his pocket a button, a little pink plastic elephant and a few cigarettes, the lady teller picks up the elephant and says “we cant use this as collateral? This is a bank!”
Amid all the commotion the bank manager comes to the teller counter and asks if he could lend assistance to the lady teller, she explains to him who the frog is and that he is looking for a loan and this is the collateral he expects to stand against his loan. The bank manager picks up the tiny pink elephant, looks at it and says “whats this? a knick knack patty whack? Give the frog a loan his old mans a rolling stone!”
Norm Macdonald rip buddy
I got BoB for the Hagen Zoul armor
The Hagen Zoul Armor is legit.
I am sorry for watching this video soo late.. I liked your rating although I would probably place Band of Bastards on number 1 because I absolutely loved the story.. and the loot
KCD 2???the same character or??do you know??
I don't know for sure, but i would bet on it.
DTG Productions tnx👍🏻
What i find annoying in kcd is that all enemy’s look the same, they have all black armor, I mean why didn’t the zul people wear blue ? That would have been much cooler especially because we don’t have a cool blue tabard in the game except for Sasau, but in my opinion blue and green is a horrible combination xD
( I really wanted the tabard of the Stone, cause it had this little heraldic shield on it which I 5ought was pretty cool, was so disappointed when I found out that I couldn’t loot them...)
I agree. The enemies in the game should have more variety in armor, and a theme for Zoul's band would have looked much better.
I liked the Sir Hans Capon dlc because you can kill everyone in that large camp and sell their armor/weapons.
Jordan Peterson
Would be good if you could rebuild skalitz instead of pribislavitz
Old friend Johanka?! News flash you don't kill your friends...
Still play this game today and I haven’t played them all so I see what I think after than I will rank
I played a woman's lot and absolutely hated it seemed so boring to me
Dude I hated the women's lot I didn't realize I was activating it and I wanted to complete the game first and I couldn't figure out how to get out of it
I only played the original game and I was curious if the DLCs are worth looking into since they are not a continuation of events.
But his previous girlfriend was Bianca...Johanka ist someone you meet later during the mainquest (or while exploring) Sassau.
The dlc's feel like not extra content I thought we get a new maps.
You have to start a review with kermit the frog here lmao. Great review. Thanks
1. Tournaments DLC (longest shit ever, profitable)
2. A Woman`s Lot (pretty interesting, pretty long)
3. From The Ashes (story-based dlc, neat)
4. Band Of Bastards (short, profitable, a lot of fighting)
5. The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon (pretty short yet still exciting)
6. Treasure Of The Past (pretty interesting, profitable)
I don’t even know if I’ll like this game. But u know that way you’d rather pay a bit more for the better edition to get all the dlc.
From the ashes made me so sad, I was really hoping to be able to have a money sink with growing roads and homes and a expanding town with loads of different paths, but it was 70k grochen and riding to towns to get supply’s which is very easy to grind out and not very good for long time enjoyment
This game really should have had a companion system
Have you met Mutt?
@@a_rock_or_something cheese pineapple
This game requires full attention, gotta finish my Fallout 4 game first lol.
Hell yeah! World building is the shiznet!
Agreed.
