And then their later answer was that the contestants woke up with the arms, and there's no explanation. Then, hedlok comes in, and the commentator and everyone's just like, oh, uh... so what's this guys backstory? And again, Nintendo has no explanation lol
Biff does state that 1 in 100,000 people in the ARMS world are naturally born with these monstrous arms. The game, if you would actually watch videos or play it yourself tells you the lore before every fight. Other contestants create the arms while others use ancient magic to have those arms. All you had to do was pay attention to the game and play as all the characters. I got all of this shit from watching TheInnocentSinful play every character.
They should really consider securing the rights to offer Bender from Futurama as a DLC character with loads of voice work and the optional Gender Bender skin too.
The Useless Fortune Teller Seriously though, were you just joking or would you actually have a problem with a Bender DLC character? I thought it was a perfect fit since he often fights with his extending arms plus who the hell doesn't like Bender? It would be the perfect comedic equivalent to the Jason/Freddy Krueger/Leather Face characters offered as extras for Mortal Kombat. He's the only one I can think of ATM but he's a perfect fit IMO.
So from what i have seen between this and test punch videos, Hedlok can posses any of the characters, so DLC as a sort of Charade esq character? Then again, i imagine trying to programs controlling six arms would be tricky and kind of broken so probably not
I know this comment is really old but i would think of it as you would controll the movement and bottom arms but hedlock would control the tip 4 arms and sometimes he would take full control briefly.
