Well I just hooked up my crescendo audio bc 17k and let me tell u. It's a straight monster. I'm only running 3 Zv5s at a 1.3ohm and they are beginning me to turn em down. Lol na really there taking it better then I thought they would've

Crossfire makes some of the best amps out, I would much rather own a Crossfire 16k over a DC 20k pitbull.

@@davidluke1976 I’m a little biased. I have 2 dB aak-20,0001 wired at .59 clamping 21,300 an amp at 16 volts. Doing a 65 at 38hz with 6 dB 3512R D1 in 2/1 4th. So I would prolly pick DB over anything, but the crossfire are no joke. Basically same as sundown salt series for less money. I went all DB because I planning on being on team DB in October. And their high end stuff is badass. I broke my subs in free air at 20hz with 4000 watts per sub for 24 hours straight. Motor structures measured between 300-320 degrees once they heated up. Never smelled a coil.
I'd stick 2 of those on 4 18in crossfire xt4's on a ton of cmax.
How much cmax is needed. I just purchased this amplifier

That amp deserves 4 DC Audio 18” lvl. 6 M5s !! All day long. 300 ah lithium bank, 4 Mechman 400 amp Alt. on 4/0 wire .
You would need 2 of these minimum to adequately power 4 of those subs. Some ppl would put 4 on 4 and wire them at 2 ohm, and turn the gain down where it'll run cool, efficient and still put out around 7k when you need it and beat the hell outta those subs but the amps would last forever running them like that. Plus, it would save you on electrical.
Damn I'd power my 8 15 db1s. Powered now by a bass 30k but would love to see what this thing would do
I’ve talked to roger a few times, he’s pretty awesome and I’m a huge crossfire, I’d like to have the baddest subs they got but sadly I don’t got that type of money

I love hearing about having enough power to use an amp. thats so not true well if one actually intends to push the amp to its max then it is. For those who get the amp and cant actually push it to its max alls you have to dl is adjust the gain and ect to what your car or truck can handle and youre set you will not hurt the amp. Its no different then my current amp which is the soundstream 14.3k my car cant support the amp fully which is why ive got my amp set to what my car can handle. it dont hurt the amp at all. As you add more power you just turn the amp up more. Its fine to have an amp you cant fully feed shit thats what ive got not i never have to worry about buying another amp i just do power upgrades then turn the amp up little more.
@@DibeezyTheGifted No you do the math better yet forget the math and learn how to read 1st, I never once said you can run the amp to its fullest without electrical upgrades. If you actually watch the video for those who are actually gona push the amp its said what electrical its gona take to run the amp meaning actually push the amp to its fullest. An amp will only put out what its set to put out HENCE why their are settings to every amp on the market. You can set an amp to put out next to nothing or you can crank up an amp to put out as much power as the amp is designed to put out which in that case electrical upgrades are required depending on the amp. Thats why amps have different ratings on them for ohm loads and voltage loads. One "dont" have to have insane electrical to run the amp if someone buys the amp and sets it to what their cars electrical can handle they can run the amp with no issues at all, no they wont see the full power of the amp as it would be set on a limited power out put from the amp's tuning but they could still run the amp. I swear some people I wonder how they graduated high school or if they even did being THEY CAN'T READ. My current amp I cant put enough power upgrades in my car to ever support it but with the power upgrades ive got and more to come I can turn the amp little by little as the car gets batter at handling the power the amp can be set higher. Guess you've never tuned an amp before because if you have you would know you can run any kida amp on any set of wheels as long as its set to what the car or truck can support.

My amp is on the exact same level as this amp is and i cannot feed my amp its required juice, why did i get an amp that i cant support to its fullest because im not gona go out and keep buying better and better amps as i upgrade my power. I bought my amp once and set it to what my ride can take and as power upgrades are done to it the amp gets turned up more and more. See not everyone out there can buy insane stuff in such a short amount of time as you clearly sound like youre one of those who can. Just to make it sound like less one is gona push the amp to its max then they cant run it is pure ignornace. Further more ya the amp does 20k but no one is gona run 20k all the time thats in short burps the amp wil not take it for longer playing times. Ever heard of the term over kill, guess not means to have more then you need. In the case of my amp it is over kill for my setup but hey ill never have to worry buying amps anymore, as i upgrade my power i just turn mine up more. I seriously cant stand when its said less youre going do this or that then you cant run this or that its completely false, ya you will not see the stuff to its fullest less you do whats required to see the stuff for its fullest but because one may not meet the requirements to run the amp to its max dont mean they cant run the amp.

For the average guy like myself I cant afford all the crazy stuff fast it takes time talking months to even a year for large stuff such as amps. So what did i do instead of buying one better amp after another i bought one once that it way over kill for me so i wont have the axpense of upgrading amps anymore and made it simple and a hell of alot more cheaper then anything. upgrading power is alot cheaper to do then buying one better amp after another. Ive seen people spend over 20k over the course of time in just buying better amps when they could of just spent the money once on a good amp that would be over kill and just adjust it to what their ride can handle. Shit ive seen people who have bough so many amps one better amp after another at the end of the day they have more spent in amps then the cost of their entire setup. As my setup stands my amp is the most expensive part of my setup but it dont cost more them my setup close not not more. now i dont have to worry about buying one better amp after another as time passes as ive done that one time with a monster of an amp already. Me personally i wouldnt buy this amp as it dont even do 2k more then mine talking on the actual ratings of the amp not talking on the burping capabilities. That 20 is based on burping the amp not actual ratings. Theirs a huge difference on burping then their is on consistent long term playing which that 20k the amp will not do less its just on a burp other wise it will burn up. but i gotta wait to see the price tag on the amp really to be able to make that call. My whole point here is one dont have to have insane power to run the amp but if they expect to run the amp to its fullest then yes they better get to upgrading to some serious power upgrades. Their is no argument here were just talking plain and simple lol. The world of car audio is ALOT bigger then just what the pros do. The Prices the companies stamp on this stuff is based on the pros because they will spend the insane money on the stuff not expecting the average person like myself to actually something like this but surprise this average guy does buy that kinda stuff. I can very easily buy 2 more subs and get a 4th order built or build my own if i take the time off from work to do it as well as do the power upgrades and hit the lanes with the pros but im not in it for that. Im not in it to out do anyone I do it for the fun of it the enjoyment of it. Its more of a hobby of mine on top of building computers and gaming computers.

Bradon Vega FI stopped building them for crossfire, SSA, and the others. Now if you want those monster subs you gotta go directly to them. I’m glad they did I wanted a set of BTL’s and I could never get a hold of them to even place a order so I went with DC audio.

Tbh for something like this I would advise going with GP car audio . They have experience building amp wiring kits for amps like this and even made one for the B2 Raven all 2/0 completer with with dual amp connectors and fuses and heat shrinks literally everything you would need to get the power to the amp . Even includes and upgraded big three with enough wire to wire how ever many batteries you have together . And for this I would go with the North Star agm480. I believe it’s around the same price as a D7500 but it has 220 ahr. Which means 2-3 of those would run this amp no problem . You can run one apocalypse 4K off of the North Star agm220 , in fact they recommend it and I’ve end seen the video of some one running an apocalypse 4K off of one agm220.

This amp needs upwards of 1100-1200 amps ( 1150 X 14.4 ) to make full power. At this point I would recommend lithium and HO ALT
