Understanding ph. Many think ph determines strength of cleaning. That is not true. Many acids clean. So do many alkaline. Higher alkaline does not mean it cleans better. Take Bio Pro 10k, it is 9.7ph but cleans circles around high ph cleaners without destroying carpet and protectors. Many times, but not always, it means it is low quality and re-soils easy. Don't be fooled. The key is knowing which one to use. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

So if it's an acidic stain to would use an acidic product to remove it? And same if it's on the alkaline side then use an alkaline product?

Vice versa i believe to neutralize to 7ph. Too much acidic akl to raise ph. Correct me if im wrong but i believe thatsbhow it works

No, opposite.
You want to neutralize the stain. If it's a 3 (acidic) you'd want to use an 11(alkaline)
That equals 14 total, so it leaves the carpet at 7(neutral)

Why does shampoo pH matter? If you explained this in the video, I did not understand because my English is not good, I write thanks to translate. So what I don't understand is; What does the 3.5 ph or 7.4 ph written on the shampoos say? High or low good?

Depends on what type of fiber and it’s condition is that you’re cleaning. If you have a polypropylene rug or carpet you can use high ph or high alkalinity detergent because it won’t damage the fiber. If you’re cleaning a wool rug it’s best to use neural or basic ph because most of the dyes are of that state. If you want to be extra careful you can use more acidic cleaners which are low in ph.

@@SRC503 mostly experience. You can break down fiber content into two categories; man made which include plastic (petroleum byproduct) and rayon viscose bamboo silk (artificial silk) and the other group is natural fibers such as wool, silk and cotton. Best way is to go to a rug store and just start feeling everything lol.
