This faire looks like fun. There is so much to do and see. Tuxedo Park is beautiful. Thanks Julien, I never would have known. I can now say, that I've seen the NY Ren Faire.
I have been to the Annapolis Renaissance Festival several times. It is near the city and military college of the same name. The college has a naval museum and beautiful grounds. Websites are available.
So the Renaissance was a cultural and intellectual movement in Europe that lasted from 1300 to 1600 CE. It emphasized the potential of human beings to achieve great things through education, reason and individualism. Then came the Baroque period.
Such a fantastic Renaissance Faire in New York state I've never seen before, thanks Julien! I'm waiting for the live from San Gennaro on Saturday, bon weekend mon amie! 🗽🍏
Well I don't know specifically about the Renaissance faires in Europe but their LARP events are truly epic. In Germany there is ConQuest of Mythodea the biggest LARP event in Europe where they have over 8500 attendees and it's a 5 day long event that includes quests, full scale battles, and more. Then also in Germany there is Drachenfest the 2nd largest, that boast over 5000 visitors that spend most of the time in combat and not so much roleplaying. Kandorya is live action roleplay located in France that has around 1500 attendees. In the UK there is the Lorien Trust that hosts LARP events like Spring Moot, The Great Erdrejan Fayre, the Summer Moot, and the Gathering which bring in between 1000 and 3000 players. So those are the top events in Europe but there are a lot more smaller ones as well.
Glad to see your channel growing my dude. I think when I joined it was below 10k.
Oh yeah ! Thx ... what a journey ;)
Történelmi jelentőségű időutazás. Nagyon tetszett. 🫶👏❤️

In the USA, everything is more grandiose, at a Renaissance fair in Europe, there would be three tents and two goats.
