A scene that they didn't show in the movies was that when rue died and katniss buried her with flowers, the district 11 as a whole collected money and send katniss bread, which was something that had never happened before and it was such an emotional scene!
@@DaKidsReact It's extra deep because District 11 is all agriculture like grain. If I recall correctly the bread was a District 11 specialty, something Katniss would probably never have tried in her life if not for that.
The book explains that Katniss chose Peeta because Gale had the same fire that she possessed, but Peeta offered what she needed to find peace. Remember that Katniss didn't want children, and the book explains that it took Peeta some years to talk Katniss into having children because her fear of the Hunger Games being resurrected was so overwhelming. He always wanted kids. Eventually she wanted them, too, and felt safe enough to have them.
Yup! I always say that she could have chosen either of them but the outcome of her life would have been very different depending on that choice. Peeta made her feel emotionally safe and provided a balance she didn't even know she needed.
So they kind of mention it in the movies, but it’s easily overlooked and goes into much more detail in the books, but the double bomb with the delayed reaction [the bomb that got Prim] was Gale and Beetee’s design. He had a major hand in making it, and had become a fairly respectable solider in District 13. Katniss was against it and thought it was cruel when she first heard about it. So when they used it and Prim ended up being a casualty? There was no coming back for Gale
Fun fact (or not so fun) Prim dying was at least a factor in Coin's plan, as Katniss was thinking why was Prim there, as she's technically too young to be on the battlefield. But Coin deliberately sent her to the battlefield, and planned on using Gale's double bomb which is designed with the idea to give medics time to rush in. It makes sense, if you consider it was her way of making Katniss so angry at Snow and depressed about her sister that she wouldn't oppose Coin. She just didn't bargain on the fact that Katniss got to speak to Snow before the execution.
I don't think they ever say it in the film, but a "mutt" isn't actually a canine or dog in this world. It's short for "Muttation", a blend of the words 'mutt' and 'mutation'. They're genetically modified, mixed up species of animals created by the capital.
The author of the book, Suzanne Collins, said that even from the first book Prim was always going to die, the first lines of the whole series are "When I wake up, the other side of the bed is cold. My fingers stretch out seeking Prim's warmth but finding only the rough canvas cover of the mattress"
Ive watched many hunger games reactions and i must say you both always connect the dots and it's because you really digest whats going on. You never talk over important parts and are so perceptive with the story which is refreshing. Love the reactions, you've made a permanent viewer outta me.
This means a lot to us! We know how much people love movies/shows, as we are the same, so it was important to us when we started to give everything show/movie our full attention & emotions. We are so happy you enjoyed them, much love💙
Same! Then when Prim died I think I complained about The Mockingjay to anyone that would listen, because that is a brutal book when you're living in Katniss's head. I can appreciate it now, but at the time I was grieving and I blame Suzanne Collins 😅
The reason Karniss blames Gale for Prim is because he discussed the idea with Beadie to have a 2nd explosion after the captitol sent medics in to a scene to kill them. Basically Coin ordered the exact strategy.
The last scene with Plutarch (when Katniss killed Coin) was SGI. Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away before they finished filming. 😢 He died of a drug overdose aged 46, after years of being clean. 💔
dude I saw another reaction where there was a subtitles of the movie and I was like that makes so much sense now as to why Peeta knew it was mutts cause it kept on hissing or mentioning her name over and over in like this sinister hissing whisper like voldemort like voice so eerie!
I’m so excited to be watching the final part of this journey with you both, but it’s also so bittersweet. You two have truly been a breath of fresh air, and I’ll definitely be sticking around to watch whatever shows or movies you react to next. Fun fact, the author chose the word "Coin" to use as President Coin's name because by the end of the story "Snow and Coin, are just 2 different sides of the same coin"
What you guys were saying at the end about Peeta still having side effects from his Capitol torture is definitely true! The books give a little more detail on that - it specifically mentions how Peeta still has flashbacks and has to clutch onto a chair until they pass, and how Katniss still has terrible nightmares. They're both numb and grief stricken shells after the war and it takes them a long time to heal (I think it took 10-15 years for Katniss to agree to having kids) but they do! And they do it together. And Katniss comes to realize that it was always Peeta she needed to be able to heal. It's one of my favorite lines from the book so I thought I'd share in case y'all were interested, as she clarifies why it would have always been Peeta: "I know this would have happened anyway. That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that."
i'd love to see you react to the most recent hunger games the ballad of the songbirds and snakes it provides a lot of context about snow and how things led up to the rebellion !
When you said that Katniss would have to kill Coin before the movie ends, I couldn't believe how astute your assessment was so early in the film! I really love how closely you both follow the details of the plot and how well you analyze the events and the characters!!
Came across y'all last night - subscribed after Catching Fire. Y'all are so perceptive, intelligent, compassionate, empathetic, and funny! Definitely the smartest reactors I've come across. Y'all NAILED every theory, twist, and turn. Great videos. Keep up the great work!
We appreciate you, this message & WELCOME💙 It means a lot to us to be considered those things from you! Watching the prequel tomorrow & hopefully it’ll be up this month on TH-cam🙏🏾
I'm reminded by a thing I saw about the beginning of the book and Primrose. Prim is doomed by the narrative by her introduction. Katniss wakes up and grabs for a sister that isn't there (since they have a habit of sleeping in the same bed). She was gone at the beginning, a haunting reflection to how she's gone at the end 💔
Aaaahhhhh Peeta "I don't want the games to change me" Mellark, my heart always breaks seeing these last two movies. And ofc we can't forget Finnick and Prim. It honestly always pisses me off so much that Finnick is killed, that's my boyyyyyyyyyy how dare! GALE IS RIGHT THERE TO KILL INSTEAD, TAKE HIM. lol Love yalls reactions and how involved and aware you are of so many aspects of the movies that so many others miss. Looking forward to seeing yall watch The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and the elements you pick up on there!!!
This last movie had so many different elements going on that would be easy to miss but we tried our best to be as locked in as we could be! Excited to watch Ballard in 3 weeks! We appreciate you & your support, truly! Much love💙
It's always great to watch people experience this series, but it's especially a pleasure because you are both so perceptive. Having joined you for the Harry Potter journey, I expected no less. 😉 Great video, guys!
We truly appreciate you & happy that you’ve enjoyed our reactions to both of these series. We thoroughly enjoyed both & can’t wait to bring more series to you guys! Much love💙
My favorite thing is we never learn Katniss and Peeta’s children’s name. I believe she refers to them in the book as boy and girl. Which I adore because her whole life, trauma, love story, pain, tragedy, etc was broadcast to the world. She had no privacy. But at the end when all is at peace she and Peeta keep those to themselves. I think it’s a beautiful touch
Oh my goodness, I’ve Been checking your TH-cam channel every day to see if you guys have reacted to the second part of the Mockingjay movie! I’m so excited and I love your reaction videos
Philip Seymour Hoffman ( Plutarch ) had passed away so when you see him on screen at the end, it's digitally added. * also, I'm not sure if you'll discuss it when you get to the end or not but that pill she put in her vest was so she could take it after she killed president coin but she was stopped and taken to safety before she could take it
The thing that was implied here but more explicitly explained in the books was that the bomb trap was Gales design. He didn't know it would be used on children, but he specifically designed it to draw in more people to help the injured after the first explosion, and then blow up again to kill the helpers/medics.
Literally my favorite movie/book series ever. A lot of similarities between coin and snow. Absolutely loved reading that part of the book! Great watch!
katniss and peeta's kids are JLaw's real life nephew and niece hehe... it's her brother's kids and the little boy really liked Josh Edit: apparently the baby is also a boy!
The reply was right both are nephews cause apparently they are just surrounded with boys in her fam cause irl Jen her firstborn baby is a son hoping the second one is a girl but who knows 🤷🏻♀️. Btw Fun fact: Theo the baby, he was hard to get to cry or do something to wake up cause he is major heavy sleeper apparently 😅
*It was hard to imagine anyone being worse than President Snow at first but....enter President Coin in the book AND movies of Mockingjay. Between Donald Sutherland and Julianne Moore, they both play amazing villains.* *I'm in the same mindset as a lot of the fandom that Gale is partially to blame for what happened to Primrose, since he came up with the idea for the firebombs that got dropped on the crowd. And it's all so heartbreaking when Katniss returns to 12 and starts shouting at the top of her lungs at Buttercup (the cat) after Primrose's death, then fully broke down in tears, since she never got to properly grieve.*
my top 3 moments: - when peeta said "it weren't for the baby" GAGGED EVERYBODY! - katniss yelling at the cat:( i have sisters so loosing prim hit hard - when katniss shoots the arrow and the dome collapses
Yall were pretty much on point to why Katniss said yes for the games. Her basic thought pattern was getting her hands on a weapon to kill Coin, she knew Snow would die either way, but like Snow said..nobody was watching Coin, so nobody else was gonna kill her. A part of her thought process behind it was basically the sole reason of Prim should not have been on the battlefield as she didn't meet the age requirement to be sent out and there could only be one person to make an exception to allow Prim to be sent out, which was Coin.
I know you say gale is on the dark side and it makes since watching from the outside but he saw so much death from snows bombing that his mind is clouded. 5:27
Even though I've watched the series several times, Katniss' pain at losing Prim and all of the rest of it still hits hard. That said, that "little Peeta bread" caught me. I needed that laugh lol.
34:35 this one hurt. RIP to a real one. 42:43 another one 48:49 always on it. Great job figuring it out 50:28 was looking forward to your reaction to this moment. Didn’t disappoint 56:52 lol this reaction was perfect. Enjoyed your reaction to the series.
Loved y’all’s reaction! These movies are so good and so many details can be over looked and yall genuinely listen, I love it! Definitely subscribing and catching up on y’all’s reaction!
Sooo excited for this part! The Ballard is also great, but the OG cast and story has an incredible ending. Thank you for checking this out! Katniss did everything she could to protect the people she loves and still lost Prim, not knowing whether the bombs actually came from her best friend... Just horrible. Also Finnick finally found peace with Annie, had a baby on the way and still lost his life in the games... I absolutely love the ending. Peeta and Katniss found their ways back to each other and their love blossomed. Fun fact: the kids at the end are JLaws nephews! They visited her a lot on set and bonded with Josh, that's why they're so comfortable with each other. ❤
This story & the action they had all the way throughout was crazy to witness, always had you on your toes. Seeing prim die was heartfelt as well as Finnick! Their deaths were so unexpected😢 That’s crazy that it was her actual family on set for the babies😨
The ending scene where Hamitch reads the letter to Katniss always makes me cry because he was supposed to be telling her that in person but the actor passed away before that scene was filmed.
The part with gale and the delayed explosion at the end is kind of confusing if you weren’t watching very closely during the part of the movie where Gale and Bette were talking about a bomb they made. Essentially Gale and him came up with an idea for a bomb that had a delayed explosion. The first part of the bomb would go off and then when people were drawn in to help, a second bomb would go off. And that same idea ended up being used by coin. So that’s why Katniss says goodbye to him at the end. Because he couldn’t let go of his anger and hatred for the capital and made this sick bomb that ended up killing her sister. Obviously she knows that he didn’t mean for it to kill prim. But the fact that you would even create such a thing to kill more people just shows that he couldn’t let go of the hatred for the capital. And this is why Peeta is such a better match for her. because both Katniss and Peeta probably had the most to be mad at the capital for and yet they didn’t let it change their morals. I mean it’s even shown whenever Gail says that even if someone is just mopping the floors for the capital they’re still the enemy and they deserve to die. That’s the exact reasoning that the capital uses to send kids off to the hunger games. The hunger games have been going on for 74 years. None of the district people living now had anything to do with the rebellion and yet they still killed them year after year just because they live in the same district that rebuilt against it. It’s flawed thinking and Gale was falling into the same trap
SPOT ON! Most of people knew she will shoot but I like that y'all mentioned that Snow was dying anyway, how Coin was the new Snow, and why Mitch agreed with Katniss's decision.
Thank you for your reactions to HGs, I've really enjoyed watching them! It's one of my all time favourite book/film series that's got me through some hard times in life. Will never get over Finnicks death 💔 he was one of the best characters and deserved so much more. I don't like how the movie portrayed it tbh. Like, in the books he still dies in the sewers but it happens a lot quicker and there was literally nothing the others could do (he was decapitated). But in the film, it's almost as though the others got to the top and didn't even try to help. Idk, I know he went out a hero but still heartbreaking. So the thing with Gale, in the books it's a lot clearer but actually Gale assisted in making the bomb that killed Prim. Obviously he didn't know the bomb would be used to kill her, but the point is, anger started to consume him and he knew the bomb would be used to kill someone, he just didn't care enough. He even said at the start of the film about how it's just war, sometimes killing isn't personal, yet in the end he kind of ate his own words because Prim died. Katniss realised in the end that she didn't need anymore of that anger and hatred that Gale had in her life, she had enough fire herself. Also, it's a little different in the books. Katniss and Peeta do have two children still, but they have a girl first and then a boy. The girl is called Willow and the boy is called Rye. The boy is actually a toddler in the books but I think having a baby made it easier for Katniss to say her little monologue at the end to a baby. Plus they are her nephews so that was convenient too. Anyway, thank you again 😅
I love this so much!! There’s so many layers to this series as a whole and it makes me sad that for a long time people only viewed it as a “mainstream dystopia” but its really cool seeing you guys connect and absorb the content of the series!! I stumbled upon your channel by chance and im already a fan!! Lots of love from Brasil ❤ **I’ll be waiting for your reaction to the ballad of songbirds and snakes
What’s funny is the mockingjay book not mentioning their names but apparently the children’s names are Rye and willow, for a boy and baby girl which is kinda funny bc pita bread and rye😂 and willow is primrose’s name irl
Top 3 Characters Overall: Peeta (Mr. Perfect when not brainwashed), Finnick (always clutch in a bad situation), and Effie (she didn’t know no better but rolled with the punches, I loved watching her arch). It’s hard to choose 3 because this franchise is just that good.
Y'all are the best reactors I've watched when it comes to the Hunger Games. I loved that y'all remembered things from the earlier movies. Definitely watch The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. And if you haven't already please check out The Maze Runner. It's another YA Dystopian trilogy based on original books. I defiantly can't pick a top 3 favorite characters. There are so many important and amazing characters. But its defiantly is NOT Gale 😭
All these Years after and finnicks death still hurts the most. Felt rue, prim, Boggs and Cinnas death too but finnicks just hit different. Always hurts to think Katniss went in to save Prim and she still died. Peeta didn’t want them to change him and loose himself yet he did. Gales idea of the bomb was used to kill prim. Wish someone would add the ending quote from Katniss on why she chose Peeta, because it’s beautiful
I’ve loved y’alls reactions! I cant wait for the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! I do want to clear something up though: Gale didn’t know that coin would use the bombs to kill children. However, he did design the bombs that have a delayed second explosion. He designed it specifically to draw in more people to help the wounded then explode again. That is a war crime. Targeting medical personnel in war is a war crime. So gale is war criminal. And this isn’t the first time he’s shown very little regard for civilian life. Therefore, we all hate him because he is a horrible person. He was willing to stoop just as low as Snow. And for that i am a Gale hater.
We appreciate you & happy you enjoyed them💙 That actually makes sense. We didn’t see why everyone hated Gale until the end of this movie. We still don’t “hate” him but we can see the perspective of why others do. I think the biggest war criminal would have been Coin since she actually used them in the situation she did🤦🏾
Ngl I just found this channel today yall are so funny anyways the whole time I was watching this just thought the guy in the white was me and the one in black was my brother the way he reacted and everything 😂
1) People are quick to hate on District 1, but it's important to remember that they are victims too. Each district is tortured a different way. In district 1 they are expected/required to live in opulence and excess or be punished for being unappreciative. They know that most other districts are starving, but they are made to/expected to eat to the point of making themselves sick and pretending they are happy about it instead of having the district share with the others. When they don't fall in line they get turned into the capital and made into AVOXes (people that are tortured and then have their tongues cut out and forced into servitude) or worse...mutts. Think of Effie, woman that draws the tributes' names at the reaping. Her and the TV host, Caesar Flickerman, ...they have a job to do and that is to make these grotesque moments FEEL/LOOK like "entertainment"... or else. EVERYONE is scared, even the Presidents' own family members. The games are NOT "entertainment" to anyone. The citizens of Panem are ALL terrified of their government because they know the grotesque and twisted things it does to people. They watch the games because they wanna see their people and try to support them if/when they can. Being a sponsor demands a lot of money so the sponsor gifts are rare, but people try. You have to watch the games to see what will be needed. In this book the people of District 1 were ALL angry that the Victors were being put into the games; they weren’t cheering happily like in the movie. 2) Each victor has their own house. Peeta just spends a lot of time with Haymitch since they both live alone. Katniss has her mom & sister staying with her. 3) ALL the animals/“creatures” that you see that aren't flying are “MUTTS” aka creatures created and engineered by the game makers from the remains and parts of past dead tributes. 4) The spinning of the island in this movie/book was stupid, IMO, and made no sense when Plutarch said, "Let's see the try to tell time now." You can't lose the 12 o'clock tree as it is so effin’ huge. Now, if they could've moved the SLICES of the arena...THAT would've made sense. 5) Many reactors, for some reason, keep forgetting that Peeta can paint. HE obviously painted Rue on the ground to show his anger over the Quarter Quell games. Both Peeta and Katniss get high scores for heir behavior which makes more careers want to attack them instead of wanting to ally with them. Not sure why so many reactor think the game makers did it. Very odd. Glad you two realized what was going on. 6) Haymitch was one of District 12's winners. He's an alcoholic because he was a winner when he was 16 and since then has been required to be the mentor of countless tributes only to see them ALL die for nearly 24 years. He’d won his Games by using the force field against the Capitol. Though it was a Capitol creation, Haymitch was able to use it to his advantage and win the Games with it. The Victors receive income from the Capitol for life, are given a special status in their districts and are allowed to live in the wealthiest part of their district called the Victors' Village with their families. Their District is given supplies of food and other things to survive, while the lone victor (except of The 74th Hunger Games since there is 2 victors) is bathed in riches. Most of them become very popular all throughout all of Panem. The Capital, however, can summon victors whenever they want and make demands on them. This is clarified later and in more detail later.
Bogg was there for her in the books also. If you all liked the movies, read the books. They left out so much. Like Coin's underground torchure area and how they have her prep team in there and she freed them. Oh now many people in the Capital were and had been trying to bring the system down.
You should read the book There are a lot of parts and characters that were cut from the film Like Mag and Daly And bunch of things with Joanna And after she coming back to 12 and she with Peeta she still coming to her and gale’s meeting place waiting for him to come but he never did like it was sad that she forgives him but never had the opportunity to tell him😭
Dont k ow if you guys will see this but I remember hearing that Susan Collin's biggest regret was k1lling Finnick so as far as I k ow and you guys know, our boy is all good. He survived, hes with Annie and their baby.
I was waiting for this Lmll loved this reaction ❤ can’t wait for yall to see the prequel. Also haymitch’s book comes out next year and the movie is coming out in 2026
A fact that you might find interesting (that I don't often see mentioned in reactions) - the actor that plays Plutarch (brilliant actor Philip Seymour Hoffman) actually died while Part 2 was being filmed. Production was paused for a little while so the actors could mourn. They used existing footage of him to finish filming and altered scenes he would've been involved in. Had he lived, he would have been in this Part 2 more.
I know snow is evil af and terrible but one thing about like he said he’s never lied to katniss he always told it to her straight about everything he wanted what he would do and what would happen if she did certain things he never lied to her like everyone else and I feel like he really didn’t want katniss to die notice how every time he thinks she’s dead he gets and looks so drained and bored and like he doesn’t care her every time he gets told she’s alive he become awake again and has inspiration it’s weird but he reminds me of how joker views Batman lives for their back and forth and never wants it to end but seriously snow is one of the best villains ever I hope you guys react to his movie
I really wanted to see Katniss go through military training with Johanna, and they actually become friends through it, but I get why they cut it. Hope you guys to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes next! It's a great prequel that give a great/different POV of the Games, and Snow.

It really comes full circle. This is so tragic for Katniss, she only went into the games to save prim and in the end, she lived and prim died

We are watching it the second week of November!
@@DaKidsReact cant wait!
👵🏻👍🏻
I totally agree
❤
GALE IS RIGHT THERE TO KILL INSTEAD, TAKE HIM. lol
Love yalls reactions and how involved and aware you are of so many aspects of the movies that so many others miss.
Sorry for the wait😅 we truly appreciate you & your support for us & the channel. We hope you continue to enjoy them💙
Philip Seymour Hoffman ( Plutarch ) had passed away so when you see him on screen at the end, it's digitally added.
* also, I'm not sure if you'll discuss it when you get to the end or not but that pill she put in her vest was so she could take it after she killed president coin but she was stopped and taken to safety before she could take it
RIP to Donald Sutherland as well such a great actor.
Too many similarities
katniss and peeta's kids are JLaw's real life nephew and niece hehe... it's her brother's kids and the little boy really liked Josh
Edit: apparently the baby is also a boy!
That’s so tough🔥
Both of them.are her nephews, Theodore and Bear.
Never forget Finnick!
Never!!!
You guys are one of the smartest reactors I've watched!
your reaction to finnick's death is literally me when i watched it, like not my boy finnick :"
The MOST unnecessary death🤦🏾
*It was hard to imagine anyone being worse than President Snow at first but....enter President Coin in the book AND movies of Mockingjay. Between Donald Sutherland and Julianne Moore, they both play amazing villains.*
*I'm in the same mindset as a lot of the fandom that Gale is partially to blame for what happened to Primrose, since he came up with the idea for the firebombs that got dropped on the crowd. And it's all so heartbreaking when Katniss returns to 12 and starts shouting at the top of her lungs at Buttercup (the cat) after Primrose's death, then fully broke down in tears, since she never got to properly grieve.*
my top 3 moments:
- when peeta said "it weren't for the baby" GAGGED EVERYBODY!
- katniss yelling at the cat:( i have sisters so loosing prim hit hard
- when katniss shoots the arrow and the dome collapses
Yall were pretty much on point to why Katniss said yes for the games. Her basic thought pattern was getting her hands on a weapon to kill Coin, she knew Snow would die either way, but like Snow said..nobody was watching Coin, so nobody else was gonna kill her. A part of her thought process behind it was basically the sole reason of Prim should not have been on the battlefield as she didn't meet the age requirement to be sent out and there could only be one person to make an exception to allow Prim to be sent out, which was Coin.
13:18 wtf this man pull out to eat all sneaky and shit - had me dying LMAO
🤣🤣 thought i was slick w/ it
I know you say gale is on the dark side and it makes since watching from the outside but he saw so much death from snows bombing that his mind is clouded. 5:27
You’re right, seeing what snow did first hand would change the mindset of anybody!
Even though I've watched the series several times, Katniss' pain at losing Prim and all of the rest of it still hits hard. That said, that "little Peeta bread" caught me. I needed that laugh lol.
The new book coming out is how Haymitch won his hunger games
THAT IS GONNA BE INSANE😨
Ya’ll the best as usual. What a journey. Hyped for whatever’s next.
We appreciate you & can’t wait for these upcoming movies to hit TH-cam🔥
You’re both so good at this!!! Your insight and compassion blow me away. Best reactors on TH-cam.
34:35 this one hurt. RIP to a real one.
42:43 another one
48:49 always on it. Great job figuring it out
50:28 was looking forward to your reaction to this moment. Didn’t disappoint
56:52 lol this reaction was perfect.
Enjoyed your reaction to the series.
I dont remember which movie it is but Katniss walks in on Gale talking to Haymitch about his idea for attacking the Capitol with "gifts".
😨😨
Y'all are true reactors and have great emotional responses. Much appreciated!
da kidz react mockingjay part two drops...REAL or NOT REAL?
REAL🤣💙
Lol
Love that
🥂👵🏻👍🏻
I will never not cry when I’ll watch finnick, prim and rue’s deaths
Deebo was the first Black President, but it had to be in a futuristic situation. “The Fifth Element” with Bruce Willis and Chris Tucker being extra.
SPOT ON! Most of people knew she will shoot but I like that y'all mentioned that Snow was dying anyway, how Coin was the new Snow, and why Mitch agreed with Katniss's decision.
I loved rewatching these with you guys, omg !! Will be tuning in to more of your content :)
Yeah, those baby head butts hurt. Y'all's reactions to this series have been so great 💖
I love this so much!! There’s so many layers to this series as a whole and it makes me sad that for a long time people only viewed it as a “mainstream dystopia” but its really cool seeing you guys connect and absorb the content of the series!! I stumbled upon your channel by chance and im already a fan!! Lots of love from Brasil ❤
**I’ll be waiting for your reaction to the ballad of songbirds and snakes
hitting the penjamin when i heard "tf, she a leopard?" i died
Great reaction ❤ You guys never fail me . I have all the books and movies. It was great seeing you react and try to figure everything out! Great job ☺
We appreciate you & thank you for your support💙 We are watching the prequel this week & will have it up this month on TH-cam🔥
What’s funny is the mockingjay book not mentioning their names but apparently the children’s names are Rye and willow, for a boy and baby girl which is kinda funny bc pita bread and rye😂 and willow is primrose’s name irl
the fact they she got in the hunger games for prim and prim ends up dying anyways
LAST thing we thought would happen!
I always cry at the end. I just love these movies so much
Top 3 Characters Overall: Peeta (Mr. Perfect when not brainwashed), Finnick (always clutch in a bad situation), and Effie (she didn’t know no better but rolled with the punches, I loved watching her arch). It’s hard to choose 3 because this franchise is just that good.
Sweet Little Rue
Peeta
Cinna
Gimmick
and Boggs
Were my favorites
👵🏻👍🏻♥️
RIP Finnick!! Real one!!
THE REALEST😢
Y'all are the best reactors I've watched when it comes to the Hunger Games. I loved that y'all remembered things from the earlier movies. Definitely watch The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. And if you haven't already please check out The Maze Runner. It's another YA Dystopian trilogy based on original books.
I defiantly can't pick a top 3 favorite characters. There are so many important and amazing characters. But its defiantly is NOT Gale 😭
NOT GALE
I totally agree
🥂👵🏻👍🏻
Not a Gale fan
Either
very excited to watch your reaction to the prequel !!!
FINALLYYY!!! I've been waiting for your reaction aaaa thank you so much!
Cant wait for Hunger Games Ballad of songbird amd snakes
Reaction 🙏
Coming sometime late next month!
I’ve loved y’alls reactions! I cant wait for the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! I do want to clear something up though:
Gale didn’t know that coin would use the bombs to kill children.
We appreciate you & happy you enjoyed them💙
That actually makes sense.
Fun fact: it took 15 years for katniss to decide on kids and that’s Jennifer Lawrence’s nephew in her arms
Great reaction guys. The story is true to all the emotions of war.
We appreciate you💙 & 100%! Felt all emotions during these 4 movies😅
Tigress actually did a much better job on the crew in the books. I think that for they wanted Katniss to still be recognizable for the audience.
So happy to see this drop. Loved y’all reactions so much❤
Sorry for the wait & we are so happy you enjoyed our reactions💙
Boggs was a real one
👵🏻👍🏻♥️
It was heartbreaking
When he was killed
You should read the book
There are a lot of parts and characters that were cut from the film
Like Mag and Daly
And bunch of things with Joanna
And after she coming back to 12 and she with Peeta she still coming to her and gale’s meeting place waiting for him to come but he never did like it was sad that she forgives him but never had the opportunity to tell him😭
Dont k ow if you guys will see this but I remember hearing that Susan Collin's biggest regret was k1lling Finnick so as far as I k ow and you guys know, our boy is all good.
He survived, hes with Annie and their baby.
I heard him scream & he ate a bomb, ain’t no way he survived😢😢
@DaKidsReact SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH.
He survived, he's with Annie, he's being a dad. All is good. No more pain.😊
They really named the babies Finnick and Prim 😂😂
The kids at the end were played by Jennifer Lawrence's nephews.
WHAT😨🔥
39:45 i’ve always thought this!!!!!!!!!
That would’ve been the smartest thing to do in our opinion!
Finnick grief is so real, my 13 year old self was devastated💀💀
Our 28 & 26 selves will never forget🤣😅😢
Great reaction fellas!!!
Woooo I've been waiting for this video! Can't wait to watch.
Sorry for the wait😬😅
I was waiting for this Lmll loved this reaction ❤ can’t wait for yall to see the prequel. Also haymitch’s book comes out next year and the movie is coming out in 2026
We are so happy you enjoyed the reaction💙 We have it scheduled for the 2nd week of November & YOU KNOW WE ARE ON IT IN 2026🔥😨
A fact that you might find interesting (that I don't often see mentioned in reactions) - the actor that plays Plutarch (brilliant actor Philip Seymour Hoffman) actually died while Part 2 was being filmed. Production was paused for a little while so the actors could mourn. They used existing footage of him to finish filming and altered scenes he would've been involved in. Had he lived, he would have been in this Part 2 more.
R I P
❤
Katniss’ daughter could’ve been named ‘Primrose Rue’ 🥹
Thank you both so much ❤ Australia
We appreciate you, much love💙
There’s also a prequel!! Please watch that too
Scheduled for the second week of November!
i hope u react to the ballad of songbirds and snakes! its a prequel about snow and how the hunger games turned into what it was:)
We are reacting to it next month!
I really wanted to see Katniss go through military training with Johanna, and they actually become friends through it, but I get why they cut it. Hope you guys to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes next! It's a great prequel that give a great/different POV of the Games, and Snow.
34:36 I’ve never read the books… is Finnick a beloved character in the books? Is his loss as tragic as it is in the movie?
The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes next plssss
