Watched 4 seconds of the vid and subbed just know how good this channel is by the first 4 seconds
@@murdock6450 than what?..??
the clown obviously deleted my comment LOL my aprilia sr 125 scooter is faster than his wet dream yzf race bike
This video has been uploaded for a month and it has 6,500 views!
Thanks for the support and stay awesome! :D
Hey Ben, thanks for the comment/support I appreciate it! Anyways, here is a little bit of background about my channel for you.
So I started riding an Aprilia RS50 about a year and half ago. As you watch through my videos you will see I actually crashed it and ended up with a second Aprilia RS50.
After a year I got myself a Honda NSR 125 but decided after a month of riding that 2 stroke wasn't for me and got the Yamaha you see today!
I have full intentions of getting a larger motorbike but due to the UK Laws I'm stuck with the 125 until my A2.
In 2016 I plan to take my A1 license which essentially is the full license but for a 125cc.
Who knows, I might get a second bike next year too, you'll just have to stay tuned..
Mate almost 120,000 views
Literally have the biggest smile on my face! Absolutely insane.. onwards to 200k!
Absolutely insane!
You deserve it, very well made video 10/10 bro :D
Nice. I bought the Yamaha YZF-R15 v2 in 2013. Early 2015 I found out there was an Italian made R125 with better mechanicals. Still happy with my bike.
Oh nice, yeah the new shape has a few minor improvements.
Mate I wouldn’t even care what people think, these are the best looking 125cc you can get in my opinion. Lovely bike, 10x faster than walking, actually a respected bike since they cost a lot 👀 really good on fuel, reliable and fast even tho all you need is the speed limit.
The latest mods and upgrades! I hope you all enjoy the video!

+EvolutionMotovlogs Hello Awesome video!
Hey 2TMotor, thanks man!
Stay awesome :D
Akrapovic Full System - Titanium and Carbon.
+LuckyStrikezZ 26 Use google, ya noob
+EvolutionMotovlogs Would you be able to link the levers you got?
feel sorry for all you guys being penilzed on bike restrictions because of your age, it's a nice little earner for the British government. A1 A2 hp restrictions it's all anti motorcycle legislation, UK government hates bikes, get your licences as quick as you can before any more anti bike restrictions appear.
It is rather difficult. I've got my A2 booked next year as soon as I turn 19 - not much more I can do than that. I bet it will only become more restrictive as time goes on though.
Good luck with your test, the only advice I'll give is observations, observations, and more observations. Best of luck !!!👍👍👍
A long way to go yet, test is booked for April but my insurance doesn't expire until May so I'll have to hold out until then. Gives me plenty of time to pass my test and get a big bike though :).
Song?
Stu Frost restrictions on CCs, sure but restrictions on hp is a bit too much. Why the hell do they make so many classes for a motorcycle license?
"annotation in the top left" *puts annotation in top right* hahaha love it
+TheLiam96er Haha, oh damn! That's late night editing for you haha.
That song at 2:35 HYPE AS HELL 10/10 this review /upgrade video well good off a help since I'm thinking on getting one
+GreenPigProject Thanks for the support man, glad you enjoyed the video! Stay awesome :D
+EvolutionMotovlogs You as well mate
Bought my brand new YZF R125 in the same colour! Can't wait to pick it up on Wednesday!!!
+Muhibur Jahangir Awesome! Ride safe and stay awesome! :)
how was it? so happy for you
your the only reason i got into motorbikes haha
+Thetechworld Motorbikes are awesome, happy to inspire you! :)
Hey guess what. Nope I still haven't convinced my parents 😭
+william oxby Ahh man, wish I could help :(
+EvolutionMotovlogs ahh don't worry man keep up the good work :)
+william oxby Thanks man, I will do - stay tuned :)
Just keep pushing bro, but don't be a dick. :)
How about now ? It's been two years - surely they've been convinced by now
rocking my rs50 at the moment 😂 thanks to the fact that I'm the youngest of all my friends, love your videos though man
+titan6456 Ride safe man! Stay tuned for more! :)
Love the mods and upgrades! The bike looks very well! I wouldn't get rid of your mirrors though, you can always get carbon mirrors, could match that bike quite well, got some myself about €40/50 on Ebay. Have a black YZF R125 bought about 2 months ago but has some cosmetic damage so slowly getting parts for it.
Like you said in the video the sound probably doesn't do the exhaust justice, looks very nice. There is a Scorpion exhaust on my bike, I don't really like the look of it but it sounds amazing, will see if I can upload a clip at some stage.
+Allan Ludlow Thanks man, appreciate the kind words! I think it will look much nicer but safety is more important.
The Akra is a huge improvement from the stock - but for some it's a little loud.
+Allan Ludlow Best of luck with your R125, ride safe!
Hiya there mate. I told my dealer to make an exact same model of this. Looks amazing
*04:16* Wrong both times 😂
Ay-Crap-Ovich
Sweet bike 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Lithium Ion battery is a nice upgrade. Removing weight from high up on the bike 👍🏽
Nice video man. Love the mods you have done 👌🏻
+REVBOMBTOM 17 Thanks RevBombTomb! Still a few more mods to come, but that's all for now ;)
I really love the design of yamaha yzf r125 ! It's very simple
It looks stunning, hard to believe it's only a 125cc when disguised in all those fairings!
7.02. A licence plate is only found in the USA & doesn't apply in the UK as it relates to rider's licence number, not the bike's own identity so you transfer it onto each bike you own. Great vids, thanks.
Thanks for watching - stay awesome! :)
Awesome quality Sound and vid, great vlog!
Thanks for the support, glad you enjoyed the video! Stay tuned and Stay AWESOME! :)
man I can't wait to get this bike
Hype! When you getting one?
EvolutionMotovlogs By the summer with any luck. It'll be my first proper bike
So many more mods you can do to make it look nice
Maybe so, I did a few subtle which were affordable at the time. I'd have loved to do more though :).
That bike is beautiful man
+CharlieLX1E Thanks man! :)
dude i love your bike so much defiantly getting one next year when I'm old enough to do my cbt for a 125
+Debbie Sargent Thanks dude! Sounds like a good plan to me! :)
have you or would you ever do bike meet ups?
Yes definitely!
oh great ill defiantly be watching out for when you do one
Just managed to get myself one of the first 2016 models of the R125 earlier this week and I already love it! Need to get my Vance & Hines exhaust (and a mapped ECU) on it and a black windscreen and I'll be really happy with it. A real nice looking 2013 model if I'm not wrong?
One thing I should suggest for you to get is a radiator protector, stops anything from flying up off your front wheel and braking it and it'll help keep your exhaust pipe from damage too
+Ksolidey Awesome stuff man, enjoy it, look after it and ride safe!
I'm pretty jealous as the new model has ABS and a new fancy dash.
I'm really happy with how mines looks, I could still spend much more and several more mods currently missing.
Radiator Guard, Tinted Bubble Screen, R&G Bar ends.. But it's just a matter of money.
EvolutionMotovlogs I'm still in the early days of modding mine lol, especially since theres loads i want to do to it, but yeah.. Im pretty skint now i've just bought it haha
Keep riding safe bro :)
+Ksolidey Damn money! You too mate :)
looks nice, sounds nice. Ive seen one for sale near to me and im tempted
+Nazgûl They're awesome bikes, especially for a little 125!
I love mine, any questions feel free to PM me.
EvolutionMotovlogs Hi. Sorry I dont know how to PM, so I will ask here. 1. whats the milage on these like (how many miles can I get out a tank?) .2 How much insurance do you pay? 3. Ive seen a used one for £2000...should I get?
+EvolutionMotovlogs hi there mate u got a one gud looking bike and sound awesome where could i get the akrapovic full system from plz if u can type the link most helpful
Thanks for the support mate! Yeah sure - there are several shops online that sell the same exhaust system. It's called 'Yamaha YZF R125 Full titanium akrapovic exhaust system'. Check sportsbikeshop, amazon or yamaha directly.
I like your r125 it's sick!
Thanks man! :)
yo dude really cool video
+Koalafied Thanks for the support! :)
haha the flames are back again. keep up the good work man!
+Josh Flagg They sure are heheh!
Hey Evo, the headlight tints require a certain percentage of light to come through. The best ones are the pinhole type. My bro has them on his Focus RS II and they are easy to fit yourself. They have loads of holes in and guarantee to allow enough light through. Nice bike man, fingers crossed to get one new year to potter around on save me wasting people carrier juice cause that has a 350z 3.5v6 in it. Hoping to cover it in red yellow and green carbon wrap. Cheers for the vid, safe riding.
+i3ant0n Hey dude, thanks for the info on the headlight tints! If you have any questions in reference to the YZF R125 when you come round to looking for one - feel free to drop me a message. Stay awesome, stay tuned and ride safe!
+EvolutionMotovlogs Thanks bud. I'm dreaming of a brand new one (finance from yammy) or spending around 2k for a 2010 ish. There's a Cat C or D 2015 on the bay right now going dirt cheap, not sure it's a gamble I would take without some serious checks but that's all a pipe dream for now. My close friend has just got one and I've not long parted out my old NSR. Really wanna do my test later on and get and gsxr6 (my extended boyhood dream).
If it helps at all, Mine was a Cat C!
As you mentioned, just thorough checks and ensure that it was only panel damage.
The bike looks great, I just don't understand why people spend so much on a 125. In my opinion just get a cheap one for 2 years and then get a 400cc! Lovely bike though, sounds incredible and looks great.
Fantastic video
+Best Served Chilled Thank you. I agree, the 125s are super expensive - especially in comparison to what you could get with a larger engine. But, I enjoy riding it and therefore it's worth every penny.
+EvolutionMotovlogs plus, when you are in the age of a 125 rider, 2 years are like 200 years. So there is somewhat of a justification for people to spend so much money on their 125cc bike. ^^
This’s so cool!!!!
Thanks!
I subscribed. Your videos are great.
Oh you rode through Loose and Coxheath nice! I know the area very well
Sure did! Thanks for watching :)
cool videos well.keep it going
+Thetechworld Thanks man, stay awesome :)
pretty good review. cheers
+Bonzo No worries, thanks for the support! :)
awesome bike. hoping to get one in the near future. are these bikes nice to ride? I've ridden a rs125 Aprilia but wasn't keen on it. keep safe
Thank you! Absolute dream, very smooth power delivery and everything is as you'd expect. Good brakes, very lightweight and overall just a good reliable 125cc. Very different to 2 stroke - like the RS.
EvolutionMotovlogs thanks for the quick reply. sounds awesome. just gotta talk the missus round to letting me buy one lol.
Best get persuading! ;)
how tall are you? I'm 6ft just wandering if the bike would be too small?
Aaron Jacka get a Hyosung gt125r and you won't feel cramped on it!
love the video keep it up man cool, bike ihave the same one but icant get agood cheap exaust still working on that ;D
+# MightyGosdaf Thanks for the support! Stay awesome and stay tuned :)
Don't you need L plate on front?
That is literally my dream 125, but I can't afford a decent yammy, never mind the mods, I have a WK 125 RR, bar end mirrors are actually much better than youd expect, I had them until I crashed... :P but makes filtering harder.
Ride Safe
+Jamie Langley I have seen the WK 125 RR and it looks like a smart replica!
Ride safe man and stay awesome :)
how do you get exhaust to pop, also if you get pulled over that's 3 points for a missing front L plate
When driving I'm getting a 50cc soon and unnoticed alot of driver cutting up to the front in the square on the road is it a bike area orr? Am I allowed to do that ?
Do think it's important to buy this bike with ABS as a beginner?
Hey i got the same exhaust system but my baffle is still in, how did you get yours out? usually its easy and you can remove them with a Alen key but this exhaust seems different from the older models
From where did you buied the levers, I cant find them. PLEASE HELP
Wicked looking bike bro can't wait to get one can't decide between this and the ktm rc ? Think I prefer the yzf
+Ben Taylor Thanks Ben! The RC is more unique, but the R125 is probably what I would chose!
Hi mate, I know this video is pretty old now but got to ask a quick question! Thinking of picking a second hand one of these up for my bike but it's got a slightly damaged end cap like yours was. In this video you said you can get them replaced - do you know where from or how? Would really appreciate it if you could shed some light on this! Cheers.
Hey! Is it the same Akrapovic Zorst with the carbon end cap? I've found replacement end caps but they're hard to come by and not cheap (around £60-£100). Also, you'll need to drill out the old one and then rivet on the new end cap. In the end, I just decided to live with the damage as wasn't worth the hassle or money.
I'm assuming since you can spit flames like that, you don't have the optional catalytic converter in??
or did you take it out for that scene?
just asking cause i'm thinking of getting the same exhaust system and was wandering if it is still loud and pops with the cat in?
+Short Fuse Nope, it's not required by law on the 125 in the UK. It'll pass the MOT no problem with the baffle inserted.
I have no idea whether the Cat would make a difference, I'm presuming so.
My friends and myself have never had one, sorry.
+EvolutionMotovlogs thanks for the reply, I'm not saying this to be a dick but more to let you know that your exhaust is a track exhaust ment for track use and is only made road legal by a catalytic converter. sorry if this came across as dickish :/
+Short Fuse No problem mate, Criticism and feedback is always welcome. Let me elaborate a little further because I do agree and disagree with you. In terms of after market exhaust systems the majority of them will be 'track use only not road legal'. However, I've not had a single problem in terms of MOT and hassle with authorities.
If you ride without the baffle it's much louder and draws attention but commonly filter past police vehicles and they don't give me any bother. Not only do I speak for myself, but my other two friends that I ride with are in the same position and have been fine.
In theory, you shouldn't have a race system, but you'll find 80% of people will and you'll be fine.
Hey man, i love your bike, really. I have one my self and they are such great bikes. What i was wondering is how you get those flames out of your exhaust? What do i need to do. I know it has to do with giving it full throttle or something. Can you please telle me? Subscribed and liked btw :) Great vid
Thank you! You'll only get pops, crackles and flames from an aftermarket system. It's just the unburnt fuel burning off, don't close the throttle fully off and it'll go crazy! It's a skill of the wrist but you'll soon master it! :)
Sorry mate didn't have time to watch the whole video so I just have a question in terms of acceleration what do you think about it? (I'm talking stock) because I've been looking at an rs4 also a cbr 125 ive noticed with the aprillia is everyone I've come across has been old and a bucket of bolts aha but yeah so what are your thoughts on acceleration compared to other top end 125s or even if you haven't ridden any others what's your thoughts on that?
No worries! The Yamaha MT125, WR125 and YZF R125 are the fastest 125s. I believe the CBR 125 has slightly less power and I'm unsure on the RS4. For instance, acceleration wise I can reach 25mph in first gear, 40mph in second and as for top speed the maximum will be no more than 80mph.
+EvolutionMotovlogs ok thanks mate
What year is this bike. I'm gonna get a yzfr125 but i don't know wether to go for the 2016 model or the i think 2011 with the white striping. I wan't to get a new bike since i will be using it for at least 6 years.
+marin patje My R125 is a 2014 model. If you are going to be using the bike for six years, I'd highly recommend getting it new from a dealership.
If you can purchase it outright than great! If not you could probably finance it over 2 years or so. I hope this helps :)
Is it possible you can do tutorials on some mods you could easily take off and put on so it doesn't take you long aha
Would help me a lot for when I get my yamaha yzf-r125!
+NotOfficiallySean I'm in the process of setting up a garage so that could be potential for mod videos!
I'll see what I can do :)
EvolutionMotovlogs Awesome! Thanks a lot! :)
+NotOfficiallySean No problem :)
I got the 2023 bike can’t find any frame bobbins ?
Hi! Great video mate! Where did you order the Brembo levers? And what year model is your Yzf-r? Also did you do anything to the bikes fuel injection when u installed the exhaust?
+MrPaulig11 The shortly levers where purchased from ebay for around £50-£70.
In terms of the exhaust, I've not changed anything in relation to fuelling but you can get a power commander to adjust it e.c.t
Nice vid, i have a question: i'm 6'1 tall (1.85m) could i ride this bike or i'm too big?
+DaaV TM Thanks mate! I wouldn't have thought so, I'm about 5'8 (I think) and wish I was a little taller for the R125.
Can I ask what is it that makes the pop flames? are you running slightly richer than usual or is it the exhaust? I would love if the termignoni could do that :P
+Minh Ly In theory a stock R125 with an aftermarket exhaust should do it with ease (without the baffle).
Although I have done the airbox mod and changed the air filter to K&N - not sure how much this contributes to the popping.
Akrapovic exhaust on the R125 are well known for the most explosive pops though.
Thanks I love the nice flames but also the deep roars from the Termignoni, Dilemma xD
Another question , could the seat be lowered ? My friend is about 5"3' and I want to let him have a go after I think about getting the R125.
I'm fairly certain the 'bike' could be lowered and therefore it would decrease the seat height. But I think you would need to get this all adjusted at a garage/mechanic dealer.
+EvolutionMotovlogs Thank's bro, got yourself another sub :)
Welcome to the channel bro! :)
Nice video! Would you recommend this as a first bike?👍
Thank you! Yes 100% - superb learner motorbike!
Hey man, I've got a YZF R125 myself, only had it a month! Was just wondering where you managed to find the shorty levers? Been having a look at getting some but haven't had any luck... Also, when you said that you are only on a CBT and want to move up to an A1 licence, what does that actually mean? Is it the same sort of test as the A2? I thought you couldn't do your full test until you're 19? Or are you 19? :')
+Connor Hayes Hey Connor, the shorty levers where acquired from eBay. The range from £15 - £80 for a set. Just have a look on ebay for them making sure you include the year of your bike!
As for my CBT - that will expire in April for me as I passed it 2013 April and therefore I will need to renew it. However at 17 you can do your A1 License which essentially is full 125 license. It's the same course as the A2 but you'll take the test on a 125.
The benefits of being on an A1 at 17 as oppose to a CBT is:
- Allowed to use motorway
- Allowed to carry pillions (passenger)
- No L plates required
- Is a full license and once obtained does not need to be renewed
- A1 Goes toward to your A2 so you will not have to sit a theory test.
I hope this helps dude! :)
+EvolutionMotovlogs That helps a bunch mate! Thank you so much for getting back so quickly :) will probably look into doing that then! if you've already done your theory and CBT, what sort of price are you looking at for the test?
If you've got your CBT and passed the theory then you can go straight for it without any training if your confident. It is a two part exam - Mod 1 (this is carried out in a car park and very short) and then Mod 2 is a ride out on the public road. I think the cost of both Mod 1 and Mod 2 is around £100 which isn't much more than a CBT! However there are training courses available to prepare you for it which can be quite costly but only optional.
+EvolutionMotovlogs Ah right that's great thank you! thanks for the quick response and help! Good luck with yours when you get round to doing it.
No worries man - always happy to help. I will probably take mine next year before my CBT expires.
I have a 2015 with akra exhaust. I took the dB killer out but It just seemed too loud, but I really wanna try again.
It's all personal preference, the akrapovic has a nice tone with the baffle but preferred the extra noise without!
I've been searching for some nice "racing" levers for my r125 2010 for a very long time , but i only find them for the newer models. Where did you get them?
+eriki3000 There are two types of connectors. If you purchase the older model levers they will fit. Plenty of them on ebay for around £20..
no front l-plate? ;) looks and sounds awesome man!!
+Haydn Fisher Ummm... Must of fallen of with the wind ehh? ;) :)
Thanks for the kind words pal! :D
+EvolutionMotovlogs Haha!! No problem man!
Where can you find one of those Akras that is "designed for the R125"? I can only seem to find them when you order the bike new.
+UKGB I think that's because the 'designed for the R125' exhaust system was only released a year a go. Not to common to come across second hand at the moment but you can buy them new. You'll find plenty of the other Akrapovic cans in full carbon and their other designs. (Essentially they all do the same thing though)
Have you had any trouble with only having one L plate? How long have you been riding like that?
My rear one recently broke off and i've been riding without for a while.
I've not had any problems, I always ride with the rear but the front L can be hard to display at time.
Just remember, it's a legal requirement to have 2 displayed on the bike!
In norway you can ride this bike when your 16 :)
Very lucky! I was restricted to a 50cc at the age of 16.
Motorbike laws vary from location to location..
You can do it in Germany too :D I will Start my licence with 15/5
Making me jealous boys I can only ride this when I’m 18
In Italy u can drive 50cc at 14 and 11kilowatt 125cc at 16
Sorry maybe this question is here yet but my question is: what is the full name of the akrapovic system and how could u have the flames?
+Jannik Schidlowski Akrapovic Full Titanium Exhaust System. The flames, pops and crackles occur all the time on the R125. High revs then decelerate.
+EvolutionMotovlogs Nice 😍
Hey Buddy, hope you're well. Could you tell me where you got your red bottom sticker ? And what they called.
Thanks!
Hey bud, I'm good and yourself?
The red stickers are standard on the Lunar Grey edition I believe.
I've looked online and if you buy the fairings individually they are included and you can purchase the tickets separately too! :)
Hey please can you tell me how you take out the dbkiller??idk how to take out...
On the left hand side of the exhaust can, there is a bolt in the end cap (you need to remove a little rubber grommet). Simply under the bolt and pull the baffle out.
Cool vid man, bike looks sick, whats the song tho please?
Say you bought an Akropovic exhaust would it fit onto any bike ????
Unfortunately not, although coincidentally the Exhaust on the YZF-Ri125 is identical to the MT-125.
7,03 ..It's not a licence plate in Britain because it doesn't relate to the owner's licence and doesn't change each time the bike is sold on. It's a vehicle registration plate as it remains with the bike throughout its life. Two completely different systems. People think licence plate is just an American, hence trendier, word meaning the same thing as reg plate. Common error.
I didn't knoew this, thanks! :)
Hey Evolution! The other day one of my friends showed me that they could get their moped to spit flames/pop with their exhaust.
Would you be able to do this on the RS 50 with a certain exhaust? or no. Theirs was also a 4 stroke 50cc
+Jonathan Smith Getting a 50cc to spit flames would be pretty impossible and I'm fairly certain it would NEED to be a 4 stroke engine for the back pressure. No chance on a 2 stroke..
Damn. I thought it would be pretty cool :)
How can I install the R&G crash protector? Do I need to pierce the fairing?
Is the HEL cable made specifically for your bike or could you have gotten and old HEL cable and it would have fitted your bike?
Yes, the HEL cables are made to replicate the same length of your currently brake lines. Also, ABS systems will utilise many more lines than Non ABS Motorbikes.
I have the akrapovic how do u make it pop mate
wow, your exhaust sounds and looks amazing :o I hope my 125 pops and crackles, does it happen when engind braking at a high rpm?
+Ross RS Thanks Ross, it pops when you up-shift, and when you decelerate down the gears (the higher the RPM the louder the pop). This will only of course occur without the baffle on the 125's.
+EvolutionMotovlogs awesome, my yoshimura should do it without the baffle?
Yeah for sure, most aftermarket pipes will do it without the baffle/DBkiller. The shorter the system the more explosion!
hi where did u get that Akrapovic Exhaust System from?
Nice bike! But I would replace the mirrows with an other model. Their are really nice mirrows fitting for the R125.
But why did you spent so much on this bike? Its just an 125. I would save money for a "bigger" motorcycle...
+Vincent Pawliski Thank you! I would have preferred to have spent the money on a bigger motorbike but due to my age/license I can't legally ride anything larger than 125 at the moment - I see your logic though.
+EvolutionMotovlogs Ok :) I thought you are older because your voice is very deep :D
How old are you?
+Vincent Pawliski I was 17 in the video, I'm now 18 years old.
nice yamaha bro, i got a red one :)
+ASHALIZIR Thanks bro, ride safe! :)
EvolutionMotovlogs :)
nice motorbike
Thanks! :D
do you just need a cbt to get a 125?? i have a 50cc ped and i passed my cbt a couple off months ago, so will i need to take a theory for a 125 like this??
In the UK, you only require a CBT to ride a 125cc. At 16 you are restricted to a 50cc, at the age of 17 you're able to move up to a 125cc (11kw) without any additional tests.
thank you so much!!! keep up the videos, they are great!
What’s the best mod for better motorway performance?
I really want to buy this bike I don't know when they lunch this bike in Nepal...
Yo buddy what do you recon is the best 125cc sport bike for a 17yr old I'm 15 this year but I'm looking into scooters to start me off but I'm not to sure
This bike is a great starter bike, if your looking at scooters check out Yamaha aerox 50cc or an Aprilla sr50
+ReaLTaCtiiczZ cheers
+Tom Terry Yamaha A few suggestions: Yamaha YZF R125, Honda CBR 125, Reiju RS3, Derbi GPR 125, Aprilia RS125.
+EvolutionMotovlogs thanks mate
Hello, what do you call those covers for the hole of the steering wheel? where I can buy?
Stem Nuts
what’s too speed ? any performance mods
What do you need to do for it to spit flames like that? and awesome bike I have a MT125
+Ameria Nothing in particular. If you have an aftermark exhaust with no baffle it should be fairly easy.
Go out for a blast and ensure the engine is warm, rev the bike to the point it will backfire and the fuel should ignite.
EvolutionMotovlogs Awesome, I cant ride it until I'm 17 though, so I have to wait another 2 months which is unfortunate, have fun and stay safe!
Ohh... I owned my 50cc many months before turning 16 and same goes for my 125. I know the painful wait you are experiencing!
EvolutionMotovlogs Yeah, it really sucks, I've learnt how to ride it really fast, after an hour or less I was already pretty comfortable and I've never ridden before, and cause I know how to ride now it's really sad looking at her and knowing that she has to wait another 3 months ;c
EvolutionMotovlogs Do you ride with any one? if you're close it would be cool, I want to start moto vlogging I live in Leicester
Where I can get these crash protectors?
getting a matte black yzf r125 do you have to have l plates on the front and back because i hear different things
The legal requirement to display L plates on both the front and back of the motorbike. Rear plate is easy, just drill holes in to your license plate. As for the front, you can fork mount them on place on the front screen/fairing.
thanks
50cc 2 wheeler [joepal45] i have been riding the r125 for a 6 months and i don't have one on the front, had no issues, just don't ride like a nob
Is your exhaust blowing?
What is the exact name & code of your matte grey paint?
how do you make an exhaust pop? I have a Black Widow and it cant get it to make that popping noise
Replace stock air filter with K&N - more airflow. Also, on the deceleration open the throttle slightly..
When decelerating do i pull in the clutch and throttle slightly?
When you want to slow down you let off the throttle naturally. If you open it ever so slightly it will allow fuel to trickle and encourage the exhaust to pop. No need for clutch. Hard to explain but easy to demonstrate.
yeah i have done that, still no popping x) im sure its because i have standard air filter or either that the Black widow exhaust just dosent want to pop
Hey could you Please Please Please send me a link to the silver spray paint 😌
I've never had to use it, sorry I can't be of any help!
I LIVE IN THE U.S DO THEY SELL THESE IN THE STATES?? IS THERE I SITE I CAN PURCHASE FROM?? PLEASE HELP!!
I would have thought so, have you gone down to a local Yamaha motorcycle dealer and asked them? I'd recommend doing that first :)
Hallo mate. Im thinking about getting bike license but im 28 yero and about 13.5 stone. What bike will U recommend for me.
+CafeDelMar98 Hey mate, it really depends what you are looking for. If you want a sportsbike that looks flashy and works a treat in the corners but without a scary amount of power on two wheels then this is it! But you have other options such as; commuters, supermotos, moped e.c.t.
If you give me some more info I'm more than happy to help!
HOW DID YOU INSTALL THE SLIDERS, DO YOU HAVE A VIDEO ?
The R&G Crash bungs are installed to the fairing (requires you too drill a hole). These then bolt on to an R&G frame which I believe it bolted to the front of the engine. I do not have a video unfortunately.
hi man, may be you know the color code of your bike..?!
Hi
first thing i want to tell You mate is - to sort out tyres and front suspension before You start thinking about geting those chicken stripes off !!
I've been riding for last 10 years about 6000miles/year on average.
i did get to ride my girlfriend ex bike YZF R125 and what i can tell You is that michelin pilot sportys are terrible at any deeper leaning angles.
that connected with lack of feel due to front suspension been under sprung and under dumped makes behaviour of the bike very unpredictable in the fast corners.
I can see that You don't mind spending money on the bike - so for the price of Your fancy leavers You could give those forks to suspension specjalist and get them sortet.
That would be the mod that would realy make diference to Your high speed confidence - and You would propably be the first person in the area to have propearly handling 125... as noone is paying attention to it (loud can is the must have...rather than precise and effective steering).
Regarding Tour Akrapovic - i think is great all I would suggest is a fuel processor and the sporty hi flow air filter.
It would make it pop less at the downshifting and a bit of oxtra torque will be reliesed ( that will smooth out the power delivery and You will feel it straight away)
Regarding double bubble - my personal opinion is that they are ugly for R125 and i would rather put a deflector on top of the standard shape one(You my get tint one too).
It does the better job of keeping the wind off Your chest and is less ugly;-)
have taught mate. If You would get those mods on You would be riding one of the best 125 on the road.
Ride Safe !!

+ZxNinjaVlog Fun Hi Kuba, thanks for the feedback/comment!
I agree with you, I would consider the suspension, tyres, power commander and so forth - but at the end of the day - it is only a 125. For instance, for the price of a power commander and remap doesn't really justify the very minute bhp increase. But definitely mods that should be considered!
I've actually got a MT125 - completely stock.
I plan on changing the air filter and exhaust first of all.
hmmm
i'm just wondering why do You need two motorcycles with identical engines?
I would rather spend the money on getting one of them right.
Regarding power commander and remapping- i think there is company in states called Cobra that males preset fuel processors - i had one on M800 Intruder and it was wery good with v&h straight shoot pipes and K&N filter.
One more thing I want to say is that the suspension mod would make souch a huge difference for the way the bike feels (i would compare it to way the M sport BMW handling next to Robin the three wheeler :-) one).
stiffer more intuitive ...
You can live without power commander but suspension and tytes ... mate ones You'll try that You'll never go back ;-)
I have purchased the MT125 and plan to sell the YZF R125. So in theory It'll be more of an exchange.
that's cool. if You prefear the upright position that propably is a good solution.
I just taught that You are more of a YZF fan and have an ambition to make it realy good... and set example to others that my think that 125 are unable to provide You with proper sproty ride etc.
but wish You luck with the other one.

that is tasty !!!!!!!!!
and it my fit both of Your bikes :-D
Im tall 1.83cm , for you is good for me?? i love the R125
I'm around 1.7M and the YZF-R125 was a great fit! I'd always recommend to sit one and find out for yourself. See how it feels and handles before buying...
to make the exhaust pop, you changed the air filter to r&n?
It should pop and bang without a baffle, however - I replaced the filter for K&N to allow more air flow. This may have contributed...
Thank you very much!
how do you remove the passenger footpegs? do you have to remove the set to do so?
Two bolts on to the sub frame, you can access these under the rear fairings.
dramastically? created a new word there
go try Yamaha R1m sport bike. 1000cc, 300kmph, full electronic system, nothing can go wrong.
They're an absolute machine! One day eh?
