- In today's video I am sharing with you a process video on how I made my fiance's birthday card this year. I find masculine cards hard to make so I'm happy to share when I can come up with something so you can get some ideas too! This card came together quickly and you can most definitely use up your scraps to make a bunch of these cards and have them in your stash. Feel free to make the same style card for Christmas and other occasions as well!

Great masculine card!!🤩 Just a a tip for you...next time you want to stamp only 1 word from a line of text...place your tape down before you ink the stamp, THEN remove it before you stamp on the paper...PRESTO...no ink on the word(s) you don't want stamped!!! 😉

My ATG does the same thing. I have found that you need to tilt the tape gun to the inside (left side) so the pressure is on the tape and not the roller to the right of the tape. I love your cards.
Very nice. Aside from my fiskars cutter (the same one you use) my ATG is a must have in my room Trust me, there is nothing wrong with your gun. Sometimes I get a bad roll of tape, but that's rare. Just remember to let go of the trigger before you lift the gun off the paper. Draw your line, let go of the trigger, then continue to pull the gun towards your body while lifting it off the paper. I have been using mine for 15 years and I had to practice in the beginning. HTH

Turned out very nice you’re brave by stamping the way you did. I saw someone gave you a great tip on covering the word you don’t want first then ink. That’s how I do it also. 😀. Anyway really like the card TFS

Very nice! Masculine cards are difficult! It’s bad enough that men can be so difficult to buy gifts for; they have to make creating cards difficult too! A tip: The card would have looked a bit more finished if you had added another star. It’s best to use odd numbers of embellishments.

Like it. Tip for partial stamping: put the tape on before you ink then remove before you stamp. That way you can check you've only inked what you want to see on your card.
I have seen several folks have trouble with their ATGs. I don't like troubleshooting, either. So, I stick with the smaller tape runners or score tape. Saves my sanity.😊 I like this card!
Off to make a card with hexagon die cuts for our son in law.
I’ll be the first to say I seriously struggled with mine too in the beginning and there’s definitely a learning curve with that thing. But the more I used it and practiced , and once I got an off brand tape it has worked so much better! The last time I used it was the first time burning gunked up!
I find male cards to make I like that one it might be simple but still looks special.❤

You made this card look like I can do it. I will make it. I have a couple of male birthdays coming soon. Its so versital and easy to add to your satisfaction. Just a mention, I would have put the small star to the left as you first had it. Your was is nice, but I feel it was finished up there. But I love the card. Thank you so much.

I finally got so frustrated with the tape runners, I use glue. You have time to move your material, it’s less expensive. I use the art glitter and the bear one with the fine tip.

I’ve learned the tape only lasts for about 3-6 months before my cards start falling apart.
Hmm I haven’t noticed that on my cards. How do you store them? I’m curious to know of others have seen that also
I think you're holding your ATG gun too perpendicular. Your angle is too high. Try lowering the handle towards the page a bit. This works for me! Love the card!
My I suggest you use a smaller double sided dispenser 🤔

I had the ATG gun and I hated it. It would gum up so bad, was so more work than I wanted to deal with.
In the beginning mine did too, but I’ve been getting pretty good at it now ! And I noticed it has to be with a different brand tape refill that I have most success with
Mine does it all the time, so I don't use it.
I love my ATG though. Has made card making so much faster most of the time !
I gave my AGT away, biggest pain in the butt, ever!

@KarolinasKrafts AGT is to big and cumbersome, and constantly needs attention. My time is precious, and I can't waste time with AGT.
Less glue might be better
