THankYou for the reminder of punching out a design from a paper that will be covered by one of the layers😍. Those punched out items surely can be used for future projects.
Yes, saves time and cardstock! Thanks for watching.
I love that youre precise without being persnickity😂 Your cards are so pretty!
😊aw... thank you so much!
I have used the grid lines on the door of stamparatus to help get words straight.😊
Yes that is helpful, especially with photopolymer stamps. Be careful with the rubber, though. Sometimes, the decals could be slightly off and not a true representation of where the stamp actually is.
Always test it first! Thanks for watching.
I just LOVE watching your creativity in action! Can’t wait for the next tutorial!
Thanks Annette! So glad you are enjoying them!
Thanks Lorraine! Nice video, can’t wait to try the techniques you demonstrated! 😊
Oh, wonderful, Amy! Enjoy it! Thanks for watching and for your comment.

Thank you so much, Mary! You are very kind. Glad I can help.
Wow Lorraine, more awesome cards. Thanks so much . 😊
Glad you like them!
Lorraine...you have a new student. I will be visiting your blog for more instructions. I really enjoy creating cards. I have always wanted to do something different with making cards. I am interested in learning how to use dies, stenciles and more. Thank you for answering my question about the machine (s) you use.
WOW, 1st time watching you, fantastic video! Love me some metals!
Kind of cool, right? Thanks for watching, Becky! I hope you can find some of my other videos inspiring as well.😊

Hi. Thank you for sharing this cool video and your excellent cards. I always seem to find making masculine cards rather tricky but you have certainly given me food for thought.
Thank you, Deb! I'm glad you found this helpful. Yes, masculine cards are certainly a challenge sometimes! Thanks for watching.
I can’t believe how you made that world globe look like metal! This was a genius vid, Lorraine. Thank you, I loved every tip and trick.
Thank you, thank you!🥰 it is a fun technique.
I didn't realize that you could emboss multiple times, I'm definitely going to give it a try! Thank you. I just love your cards ♥️!
Yes! As you can see it gives the project a heftier and metal look - great for masculine cards, as demonstrated here. Let me know how it works for you.
Hi Karolina. Great card. I'm at the stage of gathering ideas for my husband's birthday card. This one is givimg me ideas. Thanks so much. ❤😊
Hi Brenda. Nice to hear from you again. (BTW, this is Lorraine 😉) good luck with your husband's card. Glad I could inspire you.
@@stampwithlorraine5074 oh Lorraine, I am so sorry. I'm usually brighter than that.
@brendaelainewaddell1682 😂 no problem... it happens! Happy New Year!
Gorgeous masculine cards, great tutorial!👍
Thank you so much, Debra! So glad you like them. 😊
Lovely!! It reminds me to get out the embossing powders, and PLAY!!!
Great! Have fun with that. Let me know how it goes.😁
Thank you Lorraine! These cards are gorgeous, and masculine. Something I really struggle with creating. I'm so glad I found your channel. Your directions are clear and concise, which I greatly appreciate. Now I'm off to check out your blog. Thank you again!
I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos. Yes, we all struggle with masculine cards at times. Thanks for watching and for your comment!😊
Aren't they great? They are so classy, not the typical boring ideas at all. I often wonder if our ideas of guy cards aren't insulting. What if he hates plaids, ducks and fishing? Sort of reverse sexism. 😂
Great technique…beautiful cards!
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you like them. Great for Father's Day!
It certainly was a treasure to watch your video. It was very inspiring and you had great suggestions. Maureen Acerno
Thank you, Maureen! You are so kind. I'm glad you were inspired. Hope to see you again.
Great cards. Thank you!
Thank you! I hope you try some of these designs.😊
Lots of good tips. Thanks!
Thank you so much!😊
Love these cards! Ty
Thank you, Esther!
Love the glue and card saving tips! So loved the embossing techniques and colors! I wonder if you could add the next layer of powder to the hot embossing and not have to reink?
Love the cards; very classy! Thank you!
Hi! I'm so glad you like these cards. Thank you fornwatching and for your compliment. Once the powder is heated and "melted" it turns hard right away. It would not be hot enough or soft enough to add extra powder to at that point.
Fantastic!
Many thanks!
Fabulous cards
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like them.
Love it!
Thanks, Linda!
Nice, adaptable ideas for classy masculine cards
Thank you. Glad you like them! 😊
Brilliant - thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching and for your comment.😊
Great tips - TFS!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Love it
Thank you, Ginger!😊
Great trick. Be kind to one another. Stay safe. Love to all
Thanks for watching, Rhonda. I'm glad you like it.
L O V E your card designs!!!
Thank you so much, and thanks for watching!
F.y.i.: Auto painters call that little bumpy surface area “Orange Peel”, cuz it looks like the outside of an orange.
Interesting! Thanks for the info.🙂
would it not have been easier just to cut the flowers out using the cardstock foil?
Easier, yes, but this is a different look entirely. It has more thickness and looks more like metal than foil. Thanks for watching and reach out with questions anytime. 😊
It is a different texture, and more dimensional than using cardstock or other foiling ideas. It looks closer to sealing wax, but nicer. Great idea!
Please centre up the picture.
Sorry, I can't go back to fix that. Other videos are better. I think you can still see what you need to for this tutorial. Thanks for watching.
Hey, Kiddo … I realize my comment is at least 2 years behind the times, b u t …. It’d be a huge boon to us, your viewers, if you’d start a video, and then REVIEW it, so you’d know what you needed to do to position either your work surface or your camera in such a way that we can actually see what you’re doing. Many thanks, Lorraine, for listening.
Because of my mount and workspace at the time, it had to be that way. My grid paper wasn't centered in the camera view, but you can still see my work as I did it. Thanks for suggestions, but I think it's all good now.
How can I order a video and paper instructions of your cards?
I thought it was perfect as is.
What kind of machine are you using It does not look like a gemini.
I use the Stampin' Up Cut and Emboss machine.
Actually here I used the older Big Shot machine.
@@stampwithlorraine5074 thank you, Lorraine. I love crafting and watching your card making tehcnic is very inspireing. I make my own cards too.
@@stampwithlorraine5074 I like your calm way of showing how to create professional looking cards. Where can I purchase the updated version of the machine you use?
@@stampwithlorraine5074 I hope I don't sound like a creepy person. I'm retired and have a little more time to do what I enjoy doing..creating cards. Using the machine and supplies you use is something I have been wanting to do before I retired..I just didn't have the time or know how to.
