Ram: reservation holder here. Let’s start to see some content with actual truck capability information in it, please, particularly around the Ramcharger. These videos focusing on tungsten trim and designers thoughts about finishes and touches make the truck itself feel like vaporware.
We love to hear from our RRI+ members! The Ramcharger is targeted to have best-in-class maximum payload capacity of 2,625 lbs. and best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 14,000 lbs. We encourage you to check out our latest information on the all-new 2025 Ramcharger on our website: www.ramtrucks.com/electric/ram-1500-ramcharger.html
@@RamTrucks most people have already seen the specs on the website for the ramcharger. It would be nice to know how y’all got your numbers. The testing behind it. Also to know more about the hybrid system. I’ve watched all the YT vids and read everything y’all have online. There are more people who will probably go the hybrid way versus the EV. As someone who drives all the time for work that ramcharger sounds great. Just haven’t heard a lot about it from y’all.
When will we see a Deisel/Hybrid for those using the HD Series for what they were meant for? Im not talking buying a Deisel to get Groceries or Dinky Toy Haulers. Im talking real Construction, Hot Shot Trucks, Deisel Strength when needed, and Electric when posible for Efficiency. Seems a no-brainer. Also, try to engineer it to not need DEF...
@@RamTrucks I've seen and read the highlights; suspect most of us here have. It would be great to start to actually see it in action: driving, towing, operating as a generator, etc. I, and I'm sure other reservation holders, have functional day-to-day operational questions around the Ramcharger (or RAM REV), and these videos don't meet those functional information needs. Offered/Intended as constructive feedback for future content. Thx.
I would love to see the standard interior instead of the top of the line model. It's great all the things you're putting into the truck but I'm assuming majority of your sales won't be of the $100k model
Hi Ram, another reservation holder here as well. Let's see some trims that some of us could actually afford maybe a Big Horn trim in the ram Rev
You have a reservation for a truck you can’t afford?
Nice marketing. How about what we really want?? Towing and Payload information for upper trim levels.
As a truck driver who eschews luxury features, it'd be nice to learn about the more affordable interior options that will be available in the REV and Ramcharger. I go out of my way to avoid leather-like seats in my vehicles, unfortunately at the expense of losing some useful tech features. It would be cool to hear how these designers could design a more "common" interior that still makes the truck unique and feel special, without the uncomfortable texture of leather or vinyl on the seats.
The fact that I clicked the link to learn more about this truck, and they spent the entire video talking about luxury features says everything about what’s wrong with the truck industry right now. All these auto manufacturers would rather worry about making these luxury vehicles for suburban weekend warriors instead of focusing on making trucks that for working and hauling. Everyone’s racing to make the next soccer mom vehicle it seems
Beautiful looking truck, but we all know, luxury equals higher cost. Anxious to see a more economical version for the masses, assuming you are not ignoring those of us looking for a more practical offering.
Reservation holder here too. Everything is about TUNGSTON which is likely to be $90-100k. How about a video of a trim level that most of us can afford?
Another reservation holder here. Unlike some others, I do appreciate the area focused videos and want to know that as much care has been put into the ergonomic, comfort, and interactive components as there has been into the mechanical design, function, and capability side.
As far as appealing to current customers go, I'm tracking just fine. My first new truck was a '97 Dakota. Since then, I've owned: '13 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn, '17 2500 Laramie Mega Cab 6.7, '12 Town & Country, '02 Stratus R/T, 4 Durango's-'98, '01, '11, '18, and a '23 Wrangler 4xe (all purchased new). So, I think I qualify as one of the "MOPAR customer base".
Reservation holder here, would like to see more on the Laramie/big horn trims... my assumption is the high end tungsten model is not going to be the biggest seller yet that is all that is shown... Also, we are entering 2nd quarter and the REV is supposed to go on sale 4th quarter, yet no pricing has been shared. When will pricing be announced?
So exciting!! Love the details
RRI+ member here as well. I keep hoping to see more out of this program, I think every email I get ends up leading to less hype from my perspective. As many have mentioned below and across the web I want to more about the standard features across the entire line. I would love for more live engagement from team lets bring back a Q&A but spend some time on it. It would be great if you could send out an option to submit questions a month prior and work to answer as many as you can and are appropriate for the focus of that months focus area and then maybe pick a few from the chat. I feel like that would be really engaging for us but I could be alone in that as well.
Also a few questions on why/how the Ram Rev Insider + program started to include the Ram Charger. Was this intentional, is our reservation to the Rev include the option to opt instead or for those with deep pockets both the Rev and RamCharger?
Thanks ❤
I love leather interiors and currently have a Ram Limited and have a lot of interest in the ramcharger but I doubt the Tungsten model would be within my reach or for the average consumer.
This last January 2024 I was close to pull the trigger and purchase the Ford 150 lightning in the Lariat model, but I wanted to wait till the 4th quarter of this year when your vehicle is able to be purchased. I am retired but still work with the Sheriff Department in Texas and at times my mission will have me driving over 200 miles. I am looking forward to test drive and purchase your vehicle hopefully before the end of the year.
I need specs, trim looks great but what does it do???
Great design, sure, kudos, but come on, we want a truck, not a G-Wagen, please tell us more about the overall drivetrain performance, efficiency, technology. People will fall over themselves to buy this thing if it actually works well at great efficiency, not because you used 2 different chrome finishes on the trim.
Si duda RAM tiene los mejores interinos
Me gusta como integra su pantallas en el tablero y no esas pantallas sobrepuestas
Reservation holder here, enough with the fluff.
Let’s see this Ram in wild doing real truck stuff. Towing, roadtrips, range tests, and off road capabilities.
I’m in the market for a truck and I don’t know if I should wait for this or just get the new 2025 classic engine 1500 - what do I do?
Please tell me it comes in tradesman trim. I am a reservation holder as well.
Doesnt matter if people cant afford it. Make that MSRP affordable to the middle class, and it will sell. Please stop talking about the tungsten model...only a small amout of folks can afford it.
Im a ram rev insider + subscriber and unfortinately the focus here is to sell the higher trim, and im ready to pull my pre-reservation here due to not giving attention to lower trims and releasing pricing.
Worthless video… we could care less about the interior…let’s hear about the EV tech and related specs with some range and towing videos etc….
Stellantis has really f'd up an American icon again and again
#makedodgeamericanowned
I can't wait.....please give us some firm dates in Canada 🇨🇦 Congrats to the engineers, the Rev will be my 17th Ram purchase, looking forward to it👍
When will we see a Deisel/Hybrid for those using the HD Series for what they were meant for? Im not talking buying a Deisel to get Groceries or Dinky Toy Haulers. Im talking real Construction, Hot Shot Trucks, Deisel Strength when needed, and Electric when posible for Efficiency. Seems a no-brainer. Also, try to engineer it to not need DEF...
Reservation holder here, i would like to see a hybrid version. Is there any plans in the future?
As a reservation holder and on a teacher salary, the super luxury tungsten trim level is not even close to what the majority of your clientele can afford. Not everyone needs a luxury family vehicle that costs as much as a house. What are the features (tech/trim/etc) us commoners will actually be able to afford? First there was the bait and switch from the concept model to this. Now the only highlights are on a trim level most won't be able to afford. Is it sad I'm getting less and less excited for the REV after every update? This is starting to approach the level of disappointment of Tesla debuting their goofy looking cyber truck.
IMHO it's is a hughe mistake. The clientell that used to be able to afford these. Vehicles. Just isn't there.
Tbh they should do some sort of small unibody hybrid.
Will Android eventually be supported for cellphone as a key?
Stellantis can't make a car you can't steal it seems 😂 why have keys at all?
Tick tick tick tick tick tick
As a reservation holder I would like to see the proposed exterior colors, release date and pricing on the Ramcharger. Anything under$100k for the Tungsten is ok by me.
KOREA 🇰🇷 COME ON
Resevation holder also willing to do testing of durability in everyday driving❤
I here have munch reality this car in my life
Great! A truck that nobody can afford.
Где бензин ?
Lol completed out of touch with their customers.
😀👍👍👍
Right..like you tested the back window leak or the hemi tick! BTW no one likes anything on the middle console!
Hey, @zakkh2369. Are you having concerns with your current vehicle? If so, we urge you to reach out to us on Facebook, Instagram, or X with a private message, and we will look into how we may be able to improve your situation.^DS
Another high-production value fluff piece. No new information. Rehashing trying to capitalize on a brand promise that doesn't exist yet. As a pre-order reservation holder there is nothing new to hold here and there is no information that will help us configure or understand our potential purchase more. How about having engineers that are actually working on the Ramcharger talk about the challenges they overcame to create it. Are there actual prototypes? Are you planning on only making the tungsten models first? How about 20 examples of towing, range, handling. Talk to some customers (and potential customers) Would like to see size comparison to other trucks especially Rivian Rt1. Features: what towing features will be available/standard? Cameras? Autoleveling? Backup Assistance? Weight estimation? Trailer profiles (Like Rivian has...) Payload features, hold downs etc...
$00.02
Why are these car companies not understanding that not every vehicle needs to be a luxury vehicle the reason ev adoption is slowing is not the cost of the power train it’s all of the bells and whistles these companies are treating as basic trim. We need mid spec evs now!
Missed opportunity to name it the ram recharger 😂
Another nothing burger. I love the vehicles, but these videos make me think RAM has zero clue about what we’re all actually waiting for. I didn’t think these marketing videos would bring down the hype (being neutral at worst), but I was wrong. It makes me wonder how far off they are.
So, it's a fancy truck to go to a soirée, or on a fancy date. Not a work truck. Not a farm or bush truck. :(
Thats alot of fancy words...We've all been told "Last a lifetime". Unless the new lifetime is 5ys, let's talk about reliability. The asking price for vehicles constantly receiving recalls is ridiculous.
Forget building luxury. How about you show us how cheap you can make a tradsman version for people that are buying it as a truck
Lol. I don't know if they will. They already miscalculated the market regarding car prices. There is a whole generation of people who now just realized they got burned by spending 75k on a suv or truck and can't afford anything else.
just cut the bs, we need date, price and spec. i am giving my advises, or you can let ford and ct take the market.
yeah - what they said >😑
So what do you guys have for the average american.making 35k a year. NOTHING.
All people are asking for is at least a partially ICE small truck
Disappointed...this was nothing more than a marketing video for the highest trim level...hardly anything about the truck itself. Yep, looks nice but I would rather see the other options. I am guessing I would be a limited trim buyer with a blackout package if available. Looking forward to seeing my friend's Silverado EV which is currently on the line supposedly.
oh no, it's another luxury truck. I guess this ram is just another sheep.
I would love to see a construction worker design a pickup truck... I can car less about the gimmicks.
100k truck for rich and famous only, working class can afford nothing
You will own. Nothing and be happy - Klaus schwab
Good grief, sounds like a resume with fluff and puff, no facts. Give us data, specs, projected release date, test results.
This is not a Ram Charger Ram Chargers are an SUV it absolutely pisses a lot of us off that they have stolen the name of the Ram charger for this bullshit
The word is "pandering" 😂
No thanks I’ll keep my 2018 Ram 3500 dually diesel
Why don't you quit listening to these eco fools and build us trucks we actually want at a price within reason.
Ram isn't supposed to be luxury. Completely out of touch.
To all you “reservation holders” who aren’t liking what they are seeing and hearing here, please, please, please ask for your reservation money back so I’ll have a better chance of getting this truck sooner.
Ok here’s the truth. I’m a big RAM fan and eventually I’m going to own my first RAM truck. Particularly a 2025 Big Horn hurricane. Anyway I will not own an electric vehicle whether it’s a truck or a car. Where I live it’s not practical, as I am 30 minutes away from the nearest town, and that is one way. I’m also not on board with the increase in my electric bill because of the charging I would have to do. I don’t believe electric vehicles are the future at least not the imminent future, the grid will not support it at the current state. I’m not going to argue with anyone over the internet because it is childish and stupid. My opinion is my own and you do not have to agree or like it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Sorry that you wasted your time reading this drawn out comment. I wish you the best of health.
Hi there, our team would be more than happy to look into this matter further. Please feel free to private message us via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with more details of your concern. Thank you. ^GC
It costs me an average of 5 pennies to charge my wife's Tesla at night while we sleep after a day or around the town driving. I'd burn at least a quarter tank doing the same with my 1500 Hemi which would cost about $25. I'll never go full electric but it's not expensive to charge them at all assuming you're not in California etc
@@nickdelgado214 No don’t live in California, but where i do live is in the middle of nowhere it’s not practical for me or my family to own an electric vehicle.
Leather is a no for me. I'm interested in EVs to improve sustainability. Putting in leather which is incredibly bad for the environment is contradictory. Show us how attractive this is for setting a new standard for sustainability.
Nothing about any EV is sustainable 😂
didnt you guys get the memo? no one wants EVs, especially truck drivers
Facts! 😂
