      I found something not mentioned in any reveals about the Red Knights that I've watched on YT.
      Its inside on the botom flaps.
      Maybe its planned or just a coincidence. I dunno, but it is cool.

      Rich is one of my fav mechanics!
      I may even get a deck or 2 of his Bicycle Gold Standards. Always wondered what they feel like.

    What's more impressive to me is that from you explanation at 6:00 to 10:00... All your cut are at the same fre#%?$ spot. Always the queen of heart. And all that, from muscle memory from where you cutted the deck the first time. No pinky break to remember where. Natural talent right there. Just wow Alex.

    I have always struggled with this sleight. Card magic has been a casual hobby of mine since I was 16 and I have smaller than average sized hands and it makes it extremely difficult to do this. It looks amazing but I've resorted to just accepting its impossible for me to do this.

    Alex Pandrea Can you do some of Ricky Jay’s effects from his show “Ricky Jay and his 52 assistants?” Ie the queens transpo bc as far as I know he’s not using gimmicks. Also the waterfall production (it’s the one hand shuffle with a waterfall like flourish at the end leaving one card with a production)

    Alex,wow!Only ten hours?I've been trying to do an ordinary riffle shuffle for three months(practising for a few hours every day or second day) and still get mostly clumps...Jason Parker has messaged to me that it might be the cheap cards I'm using, but I don't want to start the habit of blaming the tools for my clumsiness.I've been trying to execute a scissor/swing cut and can sometimes get a slightly messy result, but after a bout two weeks I have an actual blister on my finger,and my attempts at a revolution cut are slow and messy after weeks of hard work.As I say I don't want to blame my cards or admit that I'm just useless and give up.my hands are not small or arthritic either.Even playing guitar for about 50 years,I find some things difficult.I'm not mentally of physically retarded in any way,so I wonder if you have anything to comment on before I do decide to forget my lifelong fascination with sleight of hand(which I do only for my own satisfaction)I love watching you and others like Jason,Chris Ramsey,The Russian genius,o'brian magic, and of course Daniel Madison.I realise I'll never be that good( judging by results so far) but if their is something I may have overlooked that is holding me back, maybe you could suggest a course of action I could follow,because it isn't lack of a work ethic or negative thinking.Don't want to waste your time but maybe you have an idea? Love your videos, so keep them up!

  • @chrismurray2978
    @chrismurray2978 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    It doesn't take weeks or months?I don't get it.After making the break with the index finger,how do you move the decks apart?Is it just gravity to let the top deck slip down?If not,then how can you hold that top deck together?Is it a scissor type move?Do the other three fingers grip the upper deck?Assuming you get that far,how can you interweave the two decks at the corner? When I try this, the two halves just butt up against each other and resist being combined(to get to this point I have to do it artificially anyway, and when I laboriously interweaves them by hand just to try the final part,I just sit there wondering how to squeeze them and nothing happens, ie they don't cascade down at all;and if I hold them more loosely they just fall on the ground.Something is not right here, and I know its not your instructions,so is there another way to approach this practice that I've missed.I don't think my hands and fingers are insensitive, and I have tried relaxing consciously before I begin, but nothing seems to work.This is not your problem, but out of interest, have you ever come across this kind of lack of ability before?Maybe I'm just one of those who will never be able to do these dexterous things,but I really, really want to be able to do it. Maybe I just want it to much and should give up.But that doesn't sit well with my frame of mind.I don't want to be a professional, but just love the simple beauty of these moves for themselves.If you know of any remedial type systems I could access,please let me know, otherwise I'll leave you alone and just enjoy watching more talented artists like yourself-which I still enjoy.

    Alex, I can get the decks in two but when I go to place pressure w/ thumb and pinky to start mixing the cards it like two solid blocks. Any tips for mixing the two packets?

    • @anubisarmory3147
      @anubisarmory3147 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can only get the packets to shuffle together when I do the Richard Turner handling on it. I was having TONS of trouble too, until I came across Richard Turner's tutorial on the one-handed shuffle! Instead of keeping your middle finger on the long side and your pinky on the bottom of the deck, move your pinky to the side of the deck like Alex says to do during the bridging portion, and bring your middle finger to the top of the deck. It puts your hands in a stronger position and it's easier to control the packets. Good luck!
