Has someone who lives in the worcestershire area. We don't pronounce the sauce with the shire on the end.
We just say Worcester sauce and it's nice on a cheese and onion toastie.
Sheesh just made it for moms at home thanks 🏆
YAY so happy you did!
@@ambitiouskitchenthanks she actually loved it served it with a side of Mexican rice and biscuits 😊
I love your recipe and video… but is that vocal fry necessary tho? Just curious
No need to be rude. This is just how I talk.
@@ambitiouskitchenI don't think it was rude. It is a direct question. I could be rude for real if I wanted.
Be nice if you write ingredients and measurements in video not just name
I love beef stew 🍲🤤
isn't it the best?!
Simply the best by far
If ever given a last meal, beef stew from my elementary school cafeteria would be a thoughtful consideration. Up until this day I’ve been unable to find a recipe that resembles it. I’m trying this recipe out this weekend. Thank you, I’ll stay updated.
dang, first time i see a guy say his elementary school food hits 😂
@@FlameXD3216😂😂😂😂
@@FlameXD3216 I found out they’re serving pupusas in elementary schools now. Lucky bastards
@@FlameXD3216Maybe it's the nostalgia more than the taste.😂
@@FlameXD3216 My elementary school (UK equivalent lol) served us fricking Venison burgers lmao they were ace and the caramel tart stuff ohhh man good times
That looks hearty. I'll have to make that for my daughter sometime.
It's SO delicious! I hope you guys love it :) Recipe: ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew

I love listening to non-English people pronounce Worcestershire. The stew looks great!
Wush-stush-shire 😂
Haha I'm English we pronounce it like this WUS TER SHEER LOL 😆
Nonetheless we love L &P🤘🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧✝️
W sauce
looks yummy
At this point… I truly believe Americans have an inside joke to pronounce ‘Worcestershire’ as ridiculously as they can, to annoy Brits.
And I'm telling you rn as an American we be deadass fr when we can't pronounce this word 🤣😭 but some are more dramatic than others lol
@@mirahb.9713 all you gotta do is say busta but with a W at the start
WER-ster-sheer, if you want to say it proper like a local.
Once you got that I'll teach how to say "Bicester" (hint, spoken with only two syllables)
@@chromenewt don't get too technical we don't want to scare them
Washyoursistersauce
Mine turned out great! I had to cut a gew corners because I have an 8 month old with separation anxiety but the diah still turned out great! This will be my go to now for middle of the week hearty dinners.
Beef is considered God in India. How dare you
I made this and it was such a hit that its in my weekly rotation!! Thankyou and your mom so much!! Its amazing
You yanks have a major defect with the word Worcestershire ennit
My mom too 😢 It’s one of my favorite meals.
Another American who can’t say Worcestershire. Absolutely baffling.
Bones soup
Americans can never say Worcestershire. You pronounce shire like you pronounce it in New Hampshire, or even more broken down wus - t -shire (lower case T)
omg stop the vocal fry
stop being rude
I love hearing Americans trying to pronounce “Worcestershire” 😂
It’s pronounced woostasha or washyoursister sauce
lol
Jesus please bring me a wife who wants to cook like this for me. Amen.
And it get better like spaggeti everyd😅
This is the exact way that I like beef stew. Your recipe is the best one I've come across!
thank you so much!! I'm glad you love it :)
Thanks now that is a nice recipe! I just got through watching one that used flavoring packets ie ranch dressing, onion soup and beef stew mix! 😂
Thank you so much! Here's the recipe if you want to try it: www.ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew/

sounds beautiful!
You pronounce it wustersher any shire is pronounced sher
This video has made me subscribed to your channel also really hungry haha , love love from 🇬🇧
Omg now that is comfort food!
seriously!
Crusty bread for dipping.
Can I use more broth instead of wine?
It’s pronounced ‘wuss-ter-sheer’
And, it happens to be made of ..........."Whole Foods!!!!!", because that's what they worked with, and that's why it looks so good because it's very healthy for you. And it takes time, not 15 minutes!!! Seriously though, that looks very good indeed. They certainly knew how to cook!!!
haha this wasn't sponsored or affiliated with whole foods 😅 here's the recipe if you wanna try it: www.ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew/
@@ambitiouskitchen My point is your mum used whole foods, which are very healthy for you. That's how it was done, back in the day. And that link you sent me ....... "that looks absolutely fabulous!!!!!" If you enjoy wonderful food that is!!! Thank you.
“Mommy flavors”😂😂😂
This looks delicious 😋
umami, it's another word for savory.
@@killval849ohhhhhh I actually heard the word “umami” before😂😂😂 I didn’t listen closely enough lol. Thanks for correcting me
Recipe is good. Unfortunately the vocal is too fried for my liking.
it's just how I talk, no need to be rude
With the help of the many chaperones, this dish is something my kindergarten class and I “made’ before the thanksgiving break and I loved it so much. I never had after that day and im 28 years old now! Im so excited to have found a recipe 🥹
awww that is SO SWEET, I love that!!
Your website SUCKS
You sound like Kim kardashian
Where is the recipe went on the site 🤔
Did you boil the orange veg before putting it on. I say orange because I can't tell of it carrot or some thing else
Ok now do a much slower version . Your video is way too fast ! Whats your hurry ?
i love it personally!
Its pronounced... wo-steh-sher
Yeah if u fryed it on cast iron that's real beef stew
It adds amazing flavor!
Been making stew longer than you’ve been alive probably…lol…lol…you make it about how I do..except I’ve never put vinegar in
it's such a classic! and I love the little bit of tang the vinegar adds. here's the full recipe: www.ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew/
wtf is oou mommy 😂😂😂
Recipe so I can make it
Americans! It's pronounced "Worse stir sher".
nah - wus-te-sher
Wus stir sher sauce. Also precook and add button mushrooms
Amazing, thanks for sharing!
Yes food for the soul
“Wor-shush-shire” 😂. Americans pronouncing Worcestershire makes me laugh. Just say “wuster-shuh”
I hate wine 😂😂😂😂
Ummm... mommie-food!!
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the tasty bits went to waste from the seared meat
I actually deglazed the pan with beef broth and added that in! Just didn't show it on camera haha
Recipe ???
Kim Kardashian?
How to basic 👀
Worcestershire if you divide the word, up by sections it’s not so hard to say this word = Wor- cest- er- shire. I hope that this helps everyone 🥳. P.S. Have a Great Day Sunshine’s🥳
Would be nice to know how much of each ingredient. How much broth, wine, worcestershire, and so on.
Made this tonight (minus the wine…only because I didn’t have any) but awesome just the same! I only tasted it so far (yum!) dinner in 15 minutes though! Thanks!!
Nice!! Hope it was amazing!
Wusha-shire 😂
Could eat that daily. Reminds me of my Mum’s 🌸
me too! it's so comforting!
... and with leftovers.. make wide egg noodles... to the leftovers themselves add a Block of Cream Cheese and it turns into a delishious Stroganoff.😜👌
YUMMM
@@ambitiouskitchen we actually had this after I watched your video. And the stroganoff the next day... delish .. thanks for commenting 🙂 👍
Nummy
Chuxeye patatoes ❤ yum
but is this recipe husband approved ?
absolutely
Mommie flavors lol
Ruined it with the pees! Pees taste like dirt!!
Haha you can't really taste them in here but fine to leave them out!
Not woo-sher-shire but pronounced whu-ster... Pronounce it that way. Can't wait to try this one. Thank you ❤
Is adding to much liquid the reason mine always turn out almost flavoursess even when I sear and season?
hmm possible! it depends on all the other ingredients you put in there, how much salt you use, and how long you cook it. i'd definitely recommend trying this recipe! ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew
Add more beef stock
Hello, I’m trying to make this for Fathers Day. What ratio is the wine, beef broth and flour at the end along with the Worcestershire sauce? I looked at the recipe but it doesn’t specify.
hello! the last step is "remove 1 cup of beef broth from the slow cooker and transfer to a medium bowl. whisk in ¼ cup flour until there aren’t any lumps remaining. Add back to the slow cooker and stir to combine." there is not wine involved in that last step!
You know what? I even liked the carrots!
love that!
🥲🤤😛
Fun fact: Potatoes and
turkeys are originally from
Mexico. So before Columbus's voyage, the poor people had to have something just as filling as potatoes to sustain them.
🦃 🥔
thanks for sharing!
I made it. It's VERY wine forward. I'll omit the wine next time. I suggest using half or less than what the recipe says.
ooh I wonder if it was the wine you used -- I haven't noticed that! but totally fine to sub chicken broth for some of the wine.
Does it still work if you cook it on high, I didn’t realise it would take 7-8 hours
i have not tested it on high!
Couldnt find it
here you go: www.ambitiouskitchen.com/moms-slow-cooker-beef-stew/
I plan to make this soon much gratitude ✨💫
can't wait for you to try it!!
As an Englishman can I just say, it's pronounced shchoo not sduw 😂 looks incredible though
loooool
Beautiful made😊😊😊😊
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
😂😂long live the sauce name
Bet her mom didn’t know what umamee is
shire is pronounced sheer not shyire
No peas
Fine to leave them out!
Damn this looks fire gonna give it a go, thnx for sharing! 😋
thank you!! hope you love it :)
Can i cook without placing the lid of crockpot?! Will that be dangerous. I was planning to get the same one
I wouldn't recommend it -- you'll lose a lot of heat and it won't cook the same way. sorry!
The pronunciation of Worcestershire get me every time 😂 food looks great though
Same😅
That definitely looks edible.
GOOD FOR. STEW OR POT ROAST
I would serve it over white rice yum
I prefer Chicken soup, but I'd still eat beef stew.

absolutely!
I love this!! Addind the flour like that is so cool! Does it change the taste adding it like that?
It doesn't because it cooks for 10-15 minutes after you add it!
WorstershEYEre 🤣🤣🤣
Looks good
its like beef kalderita in the philippines
Woosheshire
Looks delicious! Which slow cooker are you using?
This one's actually vintage!
