I really like your honest and no nonsense approach to teaching... you don’t wast time on silly stuff and I appreciate that. You are correct in saying it doesn’t matter what brand your tools are because art is art no matter what you use and I think too many people become frustrated or discouraged because they can’t afford things that really they DON’T need to express themselves! So kudos to you for that and thanks for sharing your beautiful gift with us all! I learned stuff from you and I’ve been on this planet 50yrs now and in the art community since well let’s just say I was born into it! Graphite pencil smears into your colored pencil, dieting your colors. Important to use hard pencils very lightly for drawing. In fact, on toned paper, I would suggest drawing outlines in white colored pencils. That you can cover.
Suggestion: Maybe in the future you should make your initial drawing with a white colored pencil, or pastel pencil, since you are using toned paper. Great tutorial, though. I have saved it for future reference when I try your techniques out. Thanks.

That sounds like you are having some technical difficulties. Although this video is more than 5 years old, I am personally still able to have a standard viewing experience. I’m very sorry that this is happening to you. :(
@@MorganDraws Hi Morgan, I found it hard to see consistently. No criticism intended. I just wanted to figure out how you got white and yellow to show up on such light paper. My eyes just don't see what I try to color. I color things. I seem to be limited in the area of drawing, although I do pen and ink black and white abstract/repeat patterns, sometimes. You do lovely works of art and are a good teacher. Thank you.
