Just came back from my 10 day Peru vacation. First thing i did is to check whether there is any new video from graftMan & here i am watching one 😌. As usual, another excellent video. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Hello from Tampa Fl. Good information and great demonstration. I like the keep it simple approach. My mango trees give me patience, I like what you said about the tic tic world. Nature takes its time. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! In the last 2 days I have grafted Carrie, Cogshall, Lemon Zest, Nam Doc Mai, and Orange Sherbet on my 20 year old mango tree. I already have Butter Cream, and Ice Cream successfully grafted on it. I pray the new grafts take!!!
Thank you for the detailed video. I will be attempting my second round of grafting onto the Home Depot Manila mango rootstocks soon. I put them in ground last summer and grafted to them right away, all the scions slowly died by the end of winter. I think I should have let the tree root for a full year first.
I never grafted before I have 30 seedling one and a half year-old mango trees that are 2 feet tall where is the best way to graft them? I know I have a lot of chances to get it right thank you.
Can i buy a Mango tree that is already grafted? I think i bought one grafted, a little julie "dwarf", planted in el monte, ca but it died instantly! Bought from puerto rico. Looked nice. What could have happened? I was so sad!
@AJTheGraftMan Yes, I think that's what happened. Also when I took it out of the shipping box, it looked very healthy. But the weather that day in late March was very wet, cold, and gloomy! I must say I was concerned about the change. Do you think I should have kept it indoors for a bit?
Your spacing is too closed? I see that your manila(carabao) mango is too closed with your jackfruit tree. By the way, do you cover the grafted scion with foil or just plastic cover?

@@SL-ji7xt thanks. Glad to help.
Hello, I gave up with trying to root scions, it's better to air layer or graft them to root stock.
Nice video! Very informative graphing tips. Btw have you done any videos pertaining to white sapote trees???
Thanks! Not yet. I should do one in the future.
Mango!
Great informative video. Thanks for sharing. Where can we buy scions?
Where did you get the metal grafting labels from?

buy from a local nursery instead
Some trees that come shipped from tropical / subtropical areas are not used to our weather conditions, water, etc.
