I can agree to that 100%! The mouse is o’l reliable! This device though really makes it easier on you in terms of having shortcut keys or functions right there in your view, both in and out of the daw.

@@CraigScottFrostI heard that. One other thing to check out is stream deck mobile for iPad. It can be used for daws that don’t have an app. I just started using it and it’s pretty awesome so far. Gonna use it with cubase 13 pro because the cubase app is meh. 🎹♥️

good to see someone stepping up. im on LPX and it took me quite a while but I ended up going with 2 Behringer xtouch extenders coupled with a midi twister for plugin knobs and a stream deck XL for function buttons. got it working flawlessly and scared to death to upgrade anything ha ha. literally took me 2 years to get this setup working. shouldnt be this hard but when you find something that works its a blessing. good luck sir and thanks for this video. this unit looks amazing

This is nice…and I’m leaning towards this model over the V1M cause you can move and bend the screen in the back. But what sucks about all these, is they wanna charge like 80% of the price of the main unit for the extenders. This is ridiculous and greedy. Why can’t this unit be the main brain and the extenders be 1/3 of the price. Shit is Ridiculous… I don’t know how these companies think. I mean wouldn’t you rather sell like 2 million extenders at a 1/3 of the price ,because people would be maxing out with them , then like 200,000 at full price. Idk just an opinion. Shit ….or even 1/2!!! And they jerk you off by leaving out the main volume slider, the 9th slider to keep that on the flagship model V1M…and also put the most used buttons between the sliders…V1M is much cleaner looking in that sense. They do this shit on purpose! I hate greedy companies Man! They may as well be the (Apple)of the DAW controller world!

I haven't encountered any bugs or issues. The only thing was that the Banks were swapping +8 when tapping the Pan send or effects mode twice with the extender attached, BUT that was an FL Studio Script bug/ issue and not the device.
The only thing as far as this device goes, is the program that you use to set up the buttons. Right clicking won't open the menu unless you right click on a white space away from the buttons. It's weird but I'm sure they'll fix that in due time!

@@OmoiSenpai Hay thanks for the info :) I can't understand Icon these products could be so much better and intagrate so much better with just a little bit more effort.. The V1m is my second controler i have from them also have a G series in my kids studio but again I just feel a little disappointed that they did not try harder :( Hopefully someone figures out how to do this for Cubase Nuendo as colour is a big part of my workflow :)

@@OmoiSenpai I can get it to CC learn, control volume, mute, record, arm, solo, control all the effects (stock and third party), tempo control, cross fade, and anything else I need without using a useless mouse. I have been recording for over thirty years, came from an analogue desk and now ITB with the Akai, best transition ever and it definitely IS a controller when you know how to operate it properly. It's not just pretty colours and flashing lights.

Some surely wont buy this mixer thru your amazon link , because you dont let them link their own channel to get own support from viewers
Maybe you want to protect you channel from people who just scam or sth
But for the ones who just want to support each they cant link their music or own video and opinion to a product
I dint have any problems with it

PT was the "Industry Standard" because it was the main DAW back in the days that everybody used compared to it's competitors. It's the default in the USA because of tradition and education. Studio One and Ableton are also starting to take over these studios nowadays though.
But FL Studio is truly an underdog, and most of what people listen to nowadays had it's beats built from either FL, Logic Pro, or Ableton.
