Can a RWA president have a business interest in the Society. eg. our RWA president has his property business and most of the tenants in our society have come throught him and he takes his cut in it or can his son do it. because his son is also taking care of his business but practically it's he who is doing the property business and is also in a ways getting their votes.

poor maintenance
as the owners are only 40/242 flats
but mostly renters bachelors r residing.
if anyone try to raise hands against anything then legal threats/ notices are sent to keep the owners' mouth shut. mostly flats belong to secretary. and electricity bill charge by them are on high cost.
we dont know how much electricity bill is paid by the secretary of his own flats

RWA are not parallel civil administration. The have no legal powers at all except for protecting building , common land and common facilities. Basic services civic bodies has to provide and in name o security they cant obstruct free movement of residents and their victors 24 hrs a day. The managing committee is residents only and they cant make any major decisions and capital investment without general house consensus and approval. They cant disturb residents in any manner and cannot cut electricity water and movement . Nothing can be made rule that is against basic rights, constitution any civil or criminal laws of country and privacy and dignified life of resident. Consumer protection act and corruption prevention act apply on the office bearers of rwas or AoAs The individuals are responsible for malfeasance and misfeasance of duties and not rwa. Yu can file both police and court complaints demand compensation and demand accounts and books of rwa.
