The old car park is fascinating. In my hometown here in the states we have a car park that was converted from a very high end department store. It was built around 1938 I believe. You can still see bathroom tiles and even the floor of the jewelry counter is still there. The elevator cars are original as well. Although they have been modernized the old light up floor directory is still in place. These cars though are still in use it’s a 5 floor garage.
That Hydroware in Metrocentre was actually not Hydroware initially, just had the original technology replaced. Explains why it was out of order the last 2 times I was there a while ago now
IMPORTANT: There is a person impersonating me on youtube comments, This person is called "Beno" and has the same logo as me. He is commenting on people's videos saying hateful things (to make it look like I am saying it). If you get a comment from me on your video, click the commenters channel to see if it is really me or not.
I do not pick locks to get into motor rooms and other restricted areas because I don't want to commit criminal offences. The police and Andrew Gibbs monitor my youtube channel, which doesn't really matter as long as I never commit a criminal offence.
Beno Lifts there are a lot of Andrew Gibbs out there... (as long as everybody is safe and is not a criminal committer, you are fine to do whatever’s best for this channel.)
Tom Jardine it all depends whenever there’s some CCTV, a alarmed door, a keypad, a RFID scanner, or a concierge in some places too. some trespassers take things to a new level, like they would invent a robot fly with camera and microphone, and controlled it with their smart device, most people wouldn’t even notice it anyway, it’s in its infancy stage and will be a thing china invented since face recognition modded cctv.
The old carpark/dealership is a cool building. Thyssen Krupp’s beep noises are one of the most annoying I’ve ever heard. It’s like they use a very cheap toy sound module.
You should actually show ratings from 0-10 for every lift in aesthetics, efficiency, uniqueness, condition and in total

Is there asbestos in the Metro Centre?
14:26 never seen a keypad setup on one with Mk2 fixtures
This is the second time I have seen it. It is very rare. At least you can actually see what is on the screen on these.
Nolan Diamond Yes I filmed a couple of those. I think the Bromley Mall lift you mention above was a Mk1.
Beno Lifts Where was the other one you saw?
Ben are you ok mate make sure you wash it out
2:56 Battles for the lift
You and Jordan work so well together!
Awesome video.
there also exists a picklocking kit for more rooms to go which people are not meant to be in!

schindlerteejay94 Going is restricted areas isn’t allowed really, if I went in a service area I am sure I would be hounded out and questioned ?

12:58. I'm sure that's a Scotec modernisation. DMG Buttons and indicators and a scottish voice? Surely.
Its a Geordie Accent (People in Newcastle tend to have it)
@@DriftingSofa definitely sounds Scottish to me, doesn't sound geordie at all. I know that accent well
Yea im not that good with accents and that

Next time, that stupid cleaner should tip the cleaning solution into the toilet.
And that Schindler with Lester Controls actually did say Leisure Centre.
Where is this when they said they were trespassing ?
Tom Jardine it says it in the video
What happens if there is a power failure when in a lift, do all lifts go down to the lowest floor automatically ?
A hydraulic would take very little power for it to go to the lowest floor, it probably only needs a car battery to do it.
I have often wondered would the 1980s furse life at the metro centre, have asbestos components ?
Good
Techno lift... HUuuuuu…. :o
