  • This tutorial is just a quick one to show how to make your own arpeggiated patterns on the Fantom X.
If anything in the video is unclear let me know and I'll help explain it more clearly.
I'm always looking for tutorial requests for the M3 or Fantom, so let me know if you need one...

ive heard you can sample from another keyboard and use it as a patch is that true ie sample a note from say a m3 bass noise then play that sound with scales(notes) etc on your x6 is that true????

@musikmakerman That is true, and in fact sampling a bass from the M3 to be played on the Fantom X is a process I have done when the M3 needed a repair. After a quick bit of sampling the Fantom was a reliable backup for a gig.
I can do a video on this topic if you like?

@musikmakerman Hi, what you ask is definitely possible and infact I have done that exact process from my M3 to Fantom X. I can do a tutorial on this in the next week or two if you like?

Hey thanks for this - so after you create and save an arp pattern like this, can you then use it as part of a Performance and if so can you step us through how? I'd like to have a performance where, say, one part, plays normally, and with another part assigned to a different zone on the keyboard, it activates an arpeggio I'd created, or (if possible) arpeggiates a chord I am holding down using an up-then-down type pattern.

@GREGCAST70 you're welcome. I'm trying to think of a topic to do on my M3, or maybe using both units together...

Excelente vídeo. Interessante esta função de arpejos. Mas, para eu entender as explicações, solicito traduzir para o português este é outros vídeos postados por você.
