Well, you left out a very important step from this tutorial and I was wondering why my samples would no longer work after I turned my keyboard on and off. you need to save the sample data in a .KSC file.

i want to save sampling on card, but in the card mode there's only write 32Mb ,but my card is 2Gb ,what's the problem?

Hi. Great video for getting everything to work but as soon as I turn the machine off all that hard work vanishes. I had added it to a combi and saved it. I loaded the file back in after start up using media but it doesn’t work. All the time taken to create a sample is wasted if they vanish when switching off. Will you be making the most important video of all? How to use the sample you made in the machine forever and not just the day you made it? Can it even be done? Thank you

Hi, Do you still use your Fantom X? I still use mine. I was wondering if you know where we could find detailed information on creating and/or editing custom patches within the Fantom X. Question: My understanding is that the Fantom's mode of synthesis is PCM, and not actually subtractive. Does this make it harder or less program friendly? Thanks!

I have Fantom X6 (in UK) and a very new person to making patches and looking for some tutorial on TVF changes (specifically to get a Tom Sawyer sound. I have seen things on the Roland forums but dont understand what they mean or how they work - are you able to help?

Unfortunately Roland did not put much into the drum pads, they are not dynamic nor are touch sensitive as you would think would be the case with competitive drum pads. You also need to hit dead center where pads on other equipment can be triggered from the edges.

When I press play to record my sample nothing records, what should I do? It blinks 'Now Sampling but nothing records. Thanks

Hello, my question is: Once I have a sample assigned to a patch, what is the procedure for triggering the sound to play in its entirety by striking the key just once? Right now, I have to hold down the key in order to play the sample.

I have a question . I have a Fantom XR RACK MOUNT. IF I save all my patches to a CF card and I take a plane to California to a venue and they give me a Fantom X6 or whatever. IF I put the CF card into the keyboard will I have all my factory patches I programmed in or will it not work ?? hard to find this answer without actually beta testing. anybody know ?? thanks
