Does Chris do any legitimate coaching, or is this all a Chris meme? I swear, over the last 6 months I've probably seen 15 to 20 hours of Chris "coaching" and in that time I think I saw him suggest 1 thing during a match that SSG did and it started showing immediate positive results. The rest of the time, I swear Chris is just saying things like, "Nice! GOOD! I love what I'm seeing. Good. YES!"
During the Flashops, whenever Exo lost a game, Chris would just say, "WE downloaded them. WE figured out what we need to do to win. I want this win. I want rank 1. I want this." While he is saying all this, he never gave any actual information to Exo to assist them in the set.
Chris needs to take a bathroom break, and he's like... asking permission from SSG. "Do you guys need me?" Do they need you? Dude, they just beat SRPC while you were gone with backbone on tank.
He also says things that are just flat out wrong. Hadi will ask, "Can I do this?" and Chris will say no, only for Hadi to do it a few seconds later, and then Chris acts like he said yes, lol.
Is he a mindset coach? Is he just there to give SSG some positive reinforcement in there play? Does all the actual coaching happen off stream? Is it all just a meme that's going over my head? That was my original assumption, but Chris "coaching" has been going on for so long at this point that there is no way I think it's a meme anymore.
I'm not trying to come off like a dick, but I'm just really confused about the whole thing.

You right, he job is to glue the team together, the team feels "complete" and "home" with him, the players all know each other and played together for long time in ups and downs, his being there and telling them well done and it's ok is what glue them together and give the players confident and "peace" . Don't underestimate loved coach words on his players it's very effective, not how much information or analysis he say

Nekkra is lowkey goated for reaching out and asking for advice/help. Lot of respect for someone with enough drive to seek that out instead of being defensive or complacent in the face of criticism

@@LuigixD I sort of agree, but also she was only a fill in caster. To my knowledge both her and Custa were not supposed to cast as neither was offered a contract they took, but now that all the OW host/casters are independent contractors some scheduling conflicts came up as they are all working multiple games outside of Johnny and Jake. So Custa and Lemon were offered temp fill in roles bc they had previously casted. I fully understand the ow casting is horrendous especially for experts on the game, but like youre gonna shit on casters not being prepared while not being compensated but its all laughs when Gunba jumps ship, Unter can't win an important match to save his life ect. Its full flame on anyone outside their circle and then a cry fest on how they have to deal with lack of support and resources. Like everyone left in the scene is here off passion so lets cut everyone a break or no one. The circle jerk of look how good we are and how shit anyone not in the call is
