hey just wanted to thank you for posting these tutorials/guides. saroo info out there can be a little sparse so it's super helpful to people like me who are on the fence about getting one (and an actual saturn as well lol)
Thank you, I really appreciate the comment, glad it is helpful. I know what you mean it's the reason I did the guides, has the info out there can be a bit confusing and sparse. So hopefully my video will help. I highly recommend a Saturn it's my favourite console of all time. Thanks for watching 👍
Lol I know, been a few lol I was learning as I got, so every time I figured it out I did a video. This is everything for now until the new update whenever that may be.
@@iz954 don't blame you man, definitely the cheaper option if you do the SD card yourself. And you can put all your favourites and no fillers on it. Saturn is such a great system my favourite console of all time ☺️. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Lol thanks, I'm not the best player but I do enjoy gaming. Ryu and Ken are usually my go-to-fighters. Saturn had some amazing fighting games definitely one of my favourite genres.
@jimyicebunny3551 cheers man appreciate the great feedback. Glad the videos are helping people. Definitely didn't make setting up the saroo easy. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Bro I have another question. Do you know how to use Multi Dics games with Saroo ? Need to put all the packs of one game in one folder and name it the same if the game of three disks as policenauts game . How to do it right ? Maybe you have some video about this situation ?? I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
Support the function of changing discs in the game. The directory names of multi-disc games must only differ by one number. If game has two discs, and the directory names IOS folder (BIN/CUE) Deep Fear(EU)disc1 Deep Fear(EU)disc2 Make sure that the two directories differ by only one number.
Write the following in saroo config file. This code tells the saroo it's a multi-disc game
# Deep Fear (EU) [Game-ID] [MK-81804 V1.001] multi_disc = "Disc " When you finish disc 1 the game will prompt you to change discs, press the SD card to eject it, and then push the SD card back in this will act like you pop disc 2 into the system and complete the disc change.
I just picked one up thinking I'd bought it pre loaded for convenience and it came without an sd card so this video will hopefully help this luddite to suss out what to do.
@@vitamind.d.fishinsea8570 if you have any problems/ questions feel free to ask my email in the description will do my best to help. how did you put all of the files like (track 06. bin, track 07.bin) in one folder.. what is the easiest way to do that
Once you download the ROM folder unzip it and your find all the files inside it IE track 1.bin, 2.bin and so on.
@@GameZoneBirdroom once i unzip it, do i put them all in a new folder or just leave all of the files there. It asks me to extract the files of the compressed zip folder
@EndOfTheDemocrats yes extract the unzip folder and then just copy that folder over to the Saroo in the ISO folder
I plan on separating the games in English and Japanese categories. Wondering if Sub-categories within the folders are possible, for genres.
So far you can only categories up to 12 folders on main page. They may introduce this in later firmware/updates tho where you can have sub folders
