I'm starting to see Furina as a possible complicated character. What if, she knows that she's unfit to become an Archon and didn't wish to be one. But, with the death of the Lord of Amrita, she was forced to take on the role. Then, her image of a "spoiled girl who seeks entertainment" may be a facade to hide her true self. There are some hints in the trailer that there's this "grand act" going on behind the scenes in Fontaine. Since she's the Archon who embodies "justice" she has to present herself in some way that will show her status.
Maybe, Furina believes that she won't be able to protect Fontaine but does not wish to see Fontaine fall because of her incompetence. This is why she's afraid of Celestia, knowing it can easily erase Fontaine if it willed so. The prophecy may also be weighing on her so much, that it caused her emotions to affect the waters of Fontaine (Since Oceanids can do it, it's highly possible that Furina can too). And those negative emotions of hers is actually what's going to cause the prophecy to happen.
Although she acts that way, in reality, Furina might be struggling to hold everything together. Perhaps in the Archon quest we'll peel off her mask and we'll help her fix everything? In other words, we're literally going to be Furina's therapist. 🤣
Imo from the 1st trailer we know she want judge other god probably connect with 1st hydro archon death or tragedy khaenriah last 500 year ago, but she probably saw the cost of breaking heaven law, so my conclusion she is archon who wont break law even the law probably the reason of problem at 4.0 story, and maybe mc in the end bait her to break law.

Kazuha said that in Fontaine a thief’s hand/arm is cut off if caught, so I think it could match with Arlechinno.

@@stellasc04 Arlechinno's hands are not the typical humanoid hand you'll see. It is kind of black with longer nails. So assumingly, I think her original arms were already cut off if what Kazuha is saying is true regarding about the thieves who get their hands chop if caught stealing.
I would say Fontaine’s energy comes from judging people, and when they run out of “bad” people to judge, the system will “judge” everyone instead.

edit: I love that Ruka was so sweet. Friends with Amrita and trying to keep her conscious in the mortal realm. Makes me so happy. They were all so close in the past, and now, they are broken apart by death and new rulerships.

One of the things I've personally been wondering about is what title/nickname we'll get after the events in Fontaine are resolved. So far, First Sage of Buer is my favorite.
But an idea I had that I really like is Champion of the Guilty, since justice has been warped and now needs corrected.

I'm also Italian, and i think that Arlecchino might tell us more information about the Ice Archon, the Abyss and Celestia. After all, if she is like the masked figure she is named after, she is "The cunning servant that tells the Truth, while they are laughting or joking"
With each nation, it feels that we are so close to finding our sibling (Not to forget the Dainsleif Banner). I am so excited for the archon quests, especially getting more info about the ‘sinner’. Maybe the sinner went through Fontaine and did something that made the court find him guilty. There may be record files of the trial still in Fontaine. Anyway keep up with the good work Minsleif!

@@farehamujeeb it might never happen tbh. I get a feeling that in the end of genshin we'll end up defeating our sibling in fight to the death. From what I know, Hoyoverse games aren't sparkles and glitters, but actually dark stories which makes you actually cry and suffer, because character you love died. I really doubt they'll go happy ending route...what most likely will happen, it'll be tragic ending. I wouldn't be surprised that some characters we think as evil will be revealed to be actually nice. In example Tsaritsa, some Fatui harbingers, unknown God, only to be brutally killed the moment they become really loved by fans. Why? Because creators of game loves inflicting pain and suffering upon us...and killing off beloved characters is good way to do it. But if they do it,those characters won't be playable? No. What if they are killed off like a year or two after being released as playable characters?

18:59 - that reminds me, Musk Reef where Spiral Abyss entrance is used to be a top of a mountain. I believe we learned it during the Reconciled Stars event. If Jueyun Karts should be ocean floor while this part should be a mountain, maybe this suggests the whole Teyvat might be tilted compared to how it was in the past. Or maybe it has something to do with Fontaine's elevated plate.

I have a few theories to offer, so I’ll give a summary of them, so please ask questions if you have any!
(Little Fun Fact, Oratrice is the French word for Orator, a speaks person, essentially)
Hydro Ripple Impact Theory!
Taking a closer look at the Hydro Symbol, I realized it looked rather like a ripple. When tension in the water surface breaks, it causes waves. This break is usually always the effect of an impact. The word “impact” is also used in Renee’s Notes, “Using this method … resist the impact”. This method might just be the Pneuma-Ousia Annihilation Reaction.
Anyways! With this “impact” being mentioned twice, I heavily wonder if we’ll perhaps be getting a name drop of “Genshin Impact” in Fontaine, and if so … well … this is THE name drop, it has to be in the Archon Quest!!!
Hydro Influence Theory!
Just like how the Anemo Characters all have this slightly/majorly tragic past, usually involving a dead friend. I believe I have found the Hydro Variant!
All Hydro Characters have had a guiding influence! So the Hydro Archon must follow the same as well! But what guiding influence would a God of Justice even need? As a God, did she require a guiding influence towards the ideal of Justice? Or as an Archon, did she require the guiding influence from the divine? Or is it possible that she needed both?
One way or the other, I bet all my Primogems for the next 10 years, that we’ll find a Guiding Influence attached to her Story!
Butterfly Princess Theory!
The Catalyst “Frostbearer” has a backstory of the Princess of Sal Vindagnyr, who received the blessing of the Silver Tree. I believe this Princess, ended up surviving after the destruction of her Kingdom, when the Silver Tree was revitalized by Durin’s Blood, meaning she would’ve been dead(or something of an unconscious state, Hilichurl?) for a very long time until 500 years ago. After all, if the Silver Tree was revitalized, then the Blessing must’ve as well.
The one oddity about the Dragonspine Tree is the appearance of Butterflies attached to it, they have nothing to do with Durin, so it must be something to do with Sal Vindagnyr. (The Butterflies are red, only because Durin’s red blood was used to revitalize it, so if Durin’s blood was gold or blue, then we’d be getting a gold or blue Butterfly!)
The Frostbearer also has a Butterfly attached to its design, White Butterfly before ascension, turns into a Red Butterfly after ascension. It was at this point that a very clear picture was painted into my mind.
The Princess of Sal Vindagnyr was born, with her pupils in the shape of white crosses, a sign that she received the blessing from Irminsul. She grew up in her kingdom until tragedy struck and the gods wiped her Home away with a Celestial Nail. She woke up many years later to find the Irminsul Tree revitalized, and her Home to be destroyed beyond recognition, angry at the gods for this unspeakable evil, she left her Home land to join hands with the Fatui, where they named this lady with Red Crosses for Eyes, Arlecchino, The Knave.

What amazing stuff French Archon did in Fontaine? Venti and Dvalin killed a huge dragon, which would later be called Dragonspine, and Zhongli buried Gods with his spears, which would be known as Gunyun Stone Forest. We see Raiden's huge slash against the giant serpent, and Sumeru Archon buried Giant Mechs.
Sumeru Archon didn't though. However they do control ALL KNOWLEDGE that exist and can erase such knowledge from all Memory.
Ei also slaughtered the Thunderbird
Well Foçalors is probably the one who raised her entire nation 300+m above the sea and created a giant waterfall. I believe Fontaine is also the place where all the waters of Teyvat come from so it's quite a Big thing to deal with.
I can’t freaking wait for Fontaine! It’ll be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

In the trailer, At minute 1:23 it is shown that Lynette has Vision on the back of her Ribbon
But at 3:14 it is shown that Her Vision is no longer there, it can be concluded that if the opera house and the courtroom are one, then vision is not allowed in the courtroom
which explains the reason why Neuvilette & Childe doesn't have a vision
But idk it's just a Theory :)

It would be awesome if we got a xinyan and yanfei based event perhaps xinyan coming to fontaine to learn more about rock and roll so she can pioneer it in Liyue or just wanting to explore the nation of Rock and Rolls origins. Perhaps somehow she gets into some scuffle and yanfei comes by to help her out or happens to tag along with her while on vacation and decides to represent her as they are most likely friends or atleast know each other and are aquaintences

The pneuma-ousia annihilation sorta sounds like the matter-antimatter annihilation. Both things have an "equal" and "opposite" (pneuma-ousia / matter-antimatter) and when one of them comes into contact with their opposite, it causes annihilation and generates vast amount of energy. Pretty neat if you ask me. If Fontaine can harness that kind of energy, who knows how advanced they are.

The location of Celestia is known to be between the Fontaine city and Liyue. Also, it’s speculated that we get this area around version 4.x - and on other note, Celestia sits on a bottomless void that is not host to any nation. This has already been confirmed.
Super Off-Topic! I don’t know why but when she said something about Fontaine being a beautiful techy city that has a poor area (most probably polluted as well) my mind went to Piltover-Zaun from Arcane/LOL especially since Fontaine is inspired by French.

Maybe the third flood is a foreshadowing of a battle between traveler and heavenly principle

Teyvat uses the same word as used in _Teyvat Noach_ (Noah's Ark) which is also another reference to the Biblical flood. My longstanding headcanon theory is that Teyvat is the "last remnants of humanity" and their collective consciousness is used to create the world. Ambitions can cause people to question the truth of the world around it and destabilize the world. Therefore, these persons are given Visions, much like the redpills in the Matrix.
I still don't understand why the Oceanid are enemies. It's clear that they follow the previous Hydro archon who was a benevolent one, so why are they aggressive?

As someone who is planning to go into research, I find it really interesting that Fontaine punishes researchers for not providing results. It reminds me of a video I watched a while back about the importance of researchers publishing their papers even if there were no significant results, as those papers still hold ideas that can be referenced or modified in the future. I hope this is further explored when the region is released, since I don't think this issue in research gets enough attention.

My favorite thing is such a small detail but it makes it so much better for me.
At 1:50 after Kazoo intercepted the fatal blow we were supposed to get we can see Raiden holding a sword. You may be asking, “so what?” The raiden shogun/the vessel Ei resides in uses a polearm as her weapon of choice while Ei herself uses a sword to fight with. We can see it in the elemental burst where Ei temporarily takes control of the shogun, takes out her sword and uses it to battle

I wonder if in Fontain they can use Pneuma and Ousia (that kinda resembles Celestia and Abyss) because they’re just below Celestia, so the presence of that energy is much stronger and richer in the ambient. It would make things even more interesting if the theory that Celestia is going to drop a nail in the Fontaine Archon Quest comes to be true
