I was just wondering, since your videos are clear and concise if you recommend speedbooster, for for instance EF and if that Viltrox one is an option you have tried. hej Thomas! I use the Viltrox but have also worked a lot with the metadonets version. They are very similar and picture wise they are identical. At least to my eyes. I know that some people have had problem with IS and AF working on both but I have problems with IS on native glass as well. I think that mainly is firmware issues from both BMD and the adapters. Personally I would go with Viltrox because of the price. Hoppas allt är bra och lycka till!

      With a good Ssd you can shoot all flawour with out trouble. With sd its a whole other story. Pores LT yes but everything else depends on which SD you use. I can shoot Prores 422 with my Lexar 1000x 150mb with no problem and that is mainly the codec I use. Good Luck

    Hello Arber,
    I have my BMPCC 4k since a couple of weeks and so far I can say that it's a really nice camera.
    But there's one major issue that really bothers me and I would like to ask you and everyone else if you're facing the same issues.
    So the problem is that the batterylife status is not correct. It jumps up and down during filming or standby and when I turn the camera on and off it jumps again.
    Sometimes from 100% to 10, back up to 80% etc. (of course with a fully charged battery). This happens with the "original" battery that comes with the camera aswell as with some cheaper third party batteries. Only a true CANON counts from 100% to 0% as it should. The promised recording time (30-50 minutes) is not always possible (yesterday just about 15min. on an event).
    When I put the battery back in the charger it shows about 50-75% capacity so the camera clearly shows wrong numbers.
    The support isn't really able to help or provide any informations.
    I guess it's a firmware issue but it's super annoying since I can't tell how long the camera is operating. For client jobs or events this is not reliable and in short words useless (so far).
    What's your experience?
    Best regards from Germany
    Sam

      Yes, same problem here with my Pocket 4K. BUT, now I use V-mount batteries with it and I get over 6 hrs per charge. Best thing is that I can have the little BM battery in it and it will charge too from the V-mount which is attached via the 2-pin; battery icon appears as if it is plugged via AC adapter. V-mount batteries only cost $100 each while the Canon batteries sell for $95 each. It's a no brainer.

    • @ArberBaqaj
      @ArberBaqaj  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sam! Ive hade the exact same experience as you. As you say Im guessing its a firmware issue. But it is annoying and unreliable. As Ziggy Death says I would go with V-mount for crucial work. Not that pocketable anymore thought =)
