nice trip report esp on SQ's new baby boeing..surprised to see there's no IFE as this is also used for regional flights around 3 hours as well eg the previous Silkair destinations

The IFE part ya i guess you know they dont can't refit all of silk air seat with IFE unless they replace sear entirely with the space for IFE

These 737-800 are just temporary deployment. Thus they did not fit any new IFE. They will gone soon once the 737 max are back.

Thank you! From what I know they check it relatively loosely, but if it is noticeably heavier then they may check your bag weight more
