- I paid $100 for this sports cards box from Goodwill’s online auction platform Shopgoodwill. The reason I bought this lot of sports cards (nfl football cards & mlb baseball cards) was because I saw l saw some pretty nice modern sports cards on the listing. I kinda made a risky purchase here with not a lot of info to go on before making this sports card purchase…Let me know if you think it was worth the cost?!

How on earth do you win anything on shop goodwill? That site is strange to say the least. I’ve seen people bidding way too much for junk wax and I always seem to lose auctions by 1 dollar no matter how much I bid on them.
Hey Tony! I agree it is wild how expensive certain items go for on shopgoodwill. I typically feel like sealed wax is the most expensive on the site but the random lots I have found to be the best deal. I always recommend waiting until just before the auctions close to bid and having a stop watch out to enter your final bid a second or two before it closes to compete with the card shops on shopgoodwill. I hope this helps!
