Thanks man! The struggle's real. I enjoy cars like this one. Anytime you can come up with a work around but still do a quality repair makes you feel good. It's also nerve racking to tell the customer you came up with a different diagnosis than the dealer. If anyone knows what their doing it's the dealer right? So this was a feel good win.
Hey, I was just wondering when you took the very first hose off and you blew into the gas tank hose how easy was it to blow? Mine was fairly hard to blow and then I heard a pop some ice did come out but now it flows like really freely is there actually something on the end of that hose that could’ve popped off I did use my air gun in it?
Hey Cedrick. Nope it's the same old one I've had. I think if I were to get another scanner it would be the Thinktool Pro S. But I will need a good reason to drop that kind of money. Seeing how this one can still get the job done I'll be content for now. The scanner in the description is the same one I'm using only newer.
You can fix this issue no problem. If you need to remove the fuel tank the exhaust also must be removed. I didn't want to go through all that hassle so I took the short cut in the video.
Hey Andis, that's a good question. I'm not sure. It might be possible for dust to be sucked into the vent tube under certain conditions but I think it would need to be a lot of fine dust over a long period of time to cause it to clog.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive okay because my car feels sluggish and I've already replaced the solenoid and the performance hasn't gotten better my car has only 68k on it and the vapor canister is what I'm thinking now is wrong due to the car being sluggish and when I'm at the pump the trigger clicks like it's full after like a dollar or 2
Big Rob, you are definitely that Dude... I like the way you allow your subscribers to see you struggle and not edit out content.

Had a similar issue with my son’s 2017 Chevrolet Cruze.
I Really appreciate the help. Thank you 🙏

You're welcome 👍
Hey I need to know if I can have fuel in the tank while I do this
Yes, the charcoal canister is on the outside of the tank 👍
Big Rob is that a new scanner you are using?? What kind is it and are you satisfied with it or are you considering an upgrade???

hello, is it possible to remove this tank and repair or fix it with your own hands?, since it is not for sale

Would living on a gravel road cause this? I am having the same problem with my gen 2 cruze.

Most of those white clips you took out, you just have to push them In and down on the hose and bam they pop off
Thanks! Obviously I don't mess with those that often. So many fasteners out there 🥴
Will it harm the car if driving
감사합니다 👍
Could you technically disconnect that and never reconnect it for better performance?
It won't change performance. The EVAP system only routes stored fuel vapor from your charcoal canister to the intake manifold to be burned later.

Is this an important fix? Also what would cause this if it just passed emissions a few weeks ago
Thank you
You're welcome 👍
