As a bread maker user myself I always say that it’s worth the 3hr or 4hr wait as the bread that comes out of them is delicious and you know there’s no preservatives or additives in homemade bread as opposed to store bread.
I'm on my third breadmaker. First one I got was a Prima from QVC, I think in 2005, then a Morphy Richards and the one I have now, a Panasonic SD2500 and it's brilliant. If you like pizza, they make great pizza dough. All you've got to do is flatten into a round shape and put on whatever you like on it. Lovely. Nothing beats home made bread but be prepared. It won't last long as it'll be eaten quickly. My most used appliance in the kitchen is my Instant Pot. My son bought it for me for Mother's Day 2 years ago after I kept going on about getting one. Use it nearly every day. I've hardly used the stove top since.
That came out really well! Never got much use out of our bread maker. It's been sitting on the top shelf of the cupboard for years, holding up the ceiling that started to come down after a leak. I'll buy an acrow prop and fix it one day! 🤣 Great to have you back.
It looks great. I have a bread maker and have to have the paddle in to knead the bread. Sometimes the paddle does get stuck in the bread. You have to be careful because home made bread is so nice you tend to put on weight if you eat too much 😄
Nice to see you back and on an even keel. I have a bread maker, had one for years, different makes, but now have what everyone will tell you is the Rolls-Royce one, a Panasonic. You soon get used to them and once you find a recipe you like, just stick with it. With the paddles sticking in, I found once used a bit they are left in the machine. One tip once loaf is out of pan, leave it on a rack for a couple of hours, you may find really fresh bread giving you tum ache. I set my timer for overnight, so wake to fresh bread which is then ready for eating at lunchtime. If you fancy trying a ready made bread mix I recommend Wrights Cheddar & sun dried tomato. Gorgeous. The mixes are a quid in Asda or £1.40 in Sainsbury's if you are rich. PS use an electric knife to cut homemade bread, too fresh for ordinary bread knives without getting door stops
Nice purchase, I love home made bread. Going off topic. I bought an Aldi Gyros Kit. Wouldn't fit in my freezer so I had the bright idea of taking it out the box. Now, I want to eat it and can't remember the cooking times. So, you have come to my rescue, your review of Aldi Gyros showed me cooking times and the process. Don't ever doubt how usefull your videos are to someone somewhere sometime. Thank you
I went to my local Lidl today and bought this Breadmaker for £30. Box was damaged and that little hook thing was missing. Looked pretty easy to use. Been wanting one for ages. Can't wait to use it! I'll come back to this and let you know how I got on.
When you own your own home, it is hard to maintain, constant battle to decorate, repair, feel for you.. must remember we have a roof over our heads in these difficult times.. Kitchen looks great
Great video! I use my bread maker once or twice a week. I don't by store bought anymore because it is so easy. That was a great price for the bread maker.
Hi Keith & Nat, my son has a bread maker and says it makes fantastic pizza dough. Obviously you don't cook it in the machine but it mixes the dough splendidly. Saw your rant the other day and couldn't agree with you more. Willy J. a big 57 year old Glaswegian Dafty & Grandpappy. 😀
Hello, can you wash it in a dishwasher machine? I plan on buying it and it would be great if i could just pit it in a dishwasher after the bread is done. Ty for answering :)
You are a whole good one taking on that bread maker the bread looked lovely but and it is a big but that machine takes 3 hours just for 1 loaf what your electric bill be I bet that will put it up big time but is a credit to you for trying it. I wish you all the best making your bread and I will drop in again to see what you do next. Good luck I think I will stay with my 2 airfryers take care.
Top Top man good to see you's back, great job on the kitchen, i have been thinking about getting a bread maker for a while, now my minds made up, thanks for the video going to get one tomorrow
I've had a bread maker for years, I stopped making bread during the lockdown when I couldn't get any yeast. I am going back to making bread again as the cheapest loaf is around 50p. The only thing I hated about the bread maker was that the dough paddles are left in when baking the bread and the loaf has a hole in the bottom when the loaf is cooked. I used to make the dough then bake the bread in the oven after a few times as the hole could cause fillings in a cut sandwich to fall out. Now I have an air fryer and I will be making the dough in the bread maker and making bread rolls in the air fryer.
Omg you've moved the cookie van jar from fridge to the top of cupboard I can see it properly now I remember asking your nat what it was and she said it was a prezzy from her nan ps kitchen looks fab nice to see you both back
Did our kitchen princess actually just read the instructions ? lmfao hahahaha just kidding mate enjoyed the video verry much my machine is still boxed lol ok back to the video :)
Lovely to see you back on here again don’t over do it though Nice job on the kitchen as well. Last year I painted my kitchen battleship grey I wish I’d sunk it now looks awful and dark.😂
Hi Keith I’ve got a little bread maker, they’re alright ain’t they. Can’t say I use it as often as I should cos I’m a lazy bint, but they’re great if you do need to use it. Look forward to Tom video, that linguini looks nice.
Great to see you both back Keith bread looked delicious, we've had a bread maker for years, the old man use to make bread & cobs, it's been sitting in the cupboard now for years🤣 now he's seen your video he's making bread tonight 🤣 🤣
Nice to see you back, have you tried bread in your slow cooker or air fryer, some recipes only proofing for 2 hrs in kitchen? another video idea for you, when you have time.
You can make equally good bread with plain flour I never buy bread now tin of yeast keep in freezer plain flour and as the price of bread has gone up you can time them to wake up to which is what I often do. I have the Panasonic I paid over a £100 but I’ve found the cheaper ones are equally as good xx
I was wondering wtf was going to happen with those mixing padalls... i wont be buying one even if the bread didnt look bad, 3hrs+ to make a small loaf seems excessive, how much electricity did it cost after buying the maker, not to mention all the ingredients you need to get, cleaning up etc, id prefer to just buy a decent loaf from asda fresh bread or even part baked breads as they last weeks and are far easier.
Hello Keith seems i've lost all me Emoji's for some reason Lol Great to see you back mate, and Great Review of that Product looks a Good bit of kit that Bread looked well good and the world is your oyster in your Spanking new Kitchen Lol tell Natt i said Hello and catch you later Buddy

You don’t need to do videos everyday mate great to see your videos daily but you also have a life with family and that
Brendan Storey. At college We did a running cost test for several different machines & the average electricity used was 1p per hour. So a loaf cooked fot 3 hours would cost on average 3p total for electric. Add this to the cost of ingredients & you have the average total price for a loaf. Hope this helps.
